I hold a Master Degree in Civil engineering with specialization in Environmental
Engineering from VJTI (formally known as “Victoria Jubilee Institute of
Technology”) a leading Engineering College affiliated to Mumbai University,
India. I have over 14 years Civil Engineering experience mainly in utilities. I
have to my credit the responsibility of designing and overlooking the utility
services for many prestigious infrastructure projects. I have been involved in
projects right from the concept stage through to design and construction. My
salient quality is my sound knowledge of the design of:

potable water network

sewerage network
wastewater treatment plants,

Storm water network

Al Fanar Development (KSA):. The site encompasses 320 hectares of previously

undeveloped land. The total population is expected to be around 100,000. (Client:
Injaz ). The project is under concept design stage.

National paint R/A Storm Drainage System: The site has been split into two
phases along Emirates Road, a major road connecting Dubai to Sharjah. (Client:

Sharjah Government). This project involves designing of Storm drainage network. (
at present it is under construction design stage)

Watani Residential Development ( Abu Dhabi): The total 185 hac. Residential
project of Sorouh. These projects involve designing of Storm and Sewerage
system, including lift stations and connections with existing municipal network, etc.

Masdar City ( Abu Dhabi): The total development is dividing in to 5 packages.

The development will challenge that conventional with alternate development and
construction model. It is developing as a zero carbon and zero waste city. The
project infrastructure design consultant is Mott Macdonald and WSP is peer
reviewer. My roll is to review Wastewater and Storm water system for Phase 1A.

Dubai World Trade Center (Phase 1), Fujairah city Center, International Bank
of Qatar: These projects involve designing of Storm and Sewerage system,
connection with existing network, etc.

Responsibility: Designing of Potable Water supply system, sanitary sewers, storm water

International city: The International City Phases 2 & 3 is located in Sector 630 (1)
in the southwest corridor of Dubai. The site encompasses 731 hectares of
previously undeveloped land. Total development divided in to five stages. The total
population is expected to be around 200,000. (Client: Nakheel )

Downtown Jebel Ali: Infrastructure Detail Design component of a 207 ha. Site. The
site has been split into four zones of mixed use (commercial and residential) along
11Km linear development along Sheikh Zayed Road, a major road connecting
Dubai to Abu Dhabi. (Client: Limitless LLC). This project also involves designing of
Sewage treatment plants, based on activated sludge with extended aeration
process for each zone.( at present it is under design)

Aqua Dunya Master Plan and Infrastructure Engineering Design: (Part of Dubailand
Phase I) Master Plan and Concept Design 75ha water theme park and residential
area. (Client: Al Sharq Development.). This project also involved designing
package Sewage treatment plant based on activated sludge with extended aeration
process.

Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Extension: including 26 clusters of 3 towers of 45

stories (average) and 1 parking garage each. (Clients: Nakheel and DMCC.)

Discovery Gardens: Covering over 270 ha, intended for a population of 48,000
people. (Client: Nakheel )

Al Furjan Project; Detailed Master Planning and Infrastructure Design: This project
is 560 hectares in size, includes approximately 4,600 villas and townhouse plots,
as well as a number of commercial and residential apartment precincts. (Client:
Nakheel ). This project also involved designing all infrastructure utilities as well as
sewage, storm and potable water lifting/pumping stations.

Palm deira- ( D I front ) – The Palm Deira will cover 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) in
length and 8.5 kilometers (5.3 miles) in width and have an area of 80 square
kilometers (861 million square feet). It will consist of residential property, marinas,
shopping malls, sports facilities, and clubs. The residential area will be located on
the fronds and will contain 8,000 two-storey town houses. D I front is located front
part along with Al Khaleej road covering about 600 ha. area. (Client: Nakheel).-
Completed up to Preliminary design.

Al Ain Emirates: The Ain Al Emarat Project is a development of the Al Qudra Real
Estate in Al Ain, Emirate of Abu Dhabi UAE. This project is planned approximately
900-hectare mixed use development. Ultimately, facilities on the project will include
villas and multi- family residential dwellings (apartments and condominiums), retail
shopping areas and restaurants, hotels, entertainment and recreational facilities,
schools, multi-purpose domed climate controlled sports complex, golf course and
club house, mosques, community centres, roadways, all necessary infrastructure to
support the development , a canal and common area landscaping. Completed up
to Preliminary design.

Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Gujarat, India

Assistant Engineer (Design)

GWSSB is state government organization for providing water supply and sanitation
services in the Gujarat State of India.

Responsibility: Design Water supply, Storm water, Sewage Network and wastewater
treatment plant and implemented projects through contractors.

• Year 2000-2004 – Designed and supervised water supply and sewerage schemes
and prepare included Detailed Project Reports (DPR), technical scrutiny,
execution and maintenance of various water supply, and sewerage schemes,
man power planning etc.

Bilimora Drainage Scheme

• Designed and Prepared Detailed Project Reports (DPR) of Bilimora Sewerage

Scheme including treatment for 75,000 people, which includes field survey and
design the scheme.

• Prepared Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for small drainage schemes for a group
of five villages.

• Performed Dharampur Town Sewerage Scheme costing RS.55 million and
completed the project for 2 years.

• Technically checked the Gandevi Drainage Scheme costing RS.70 million.

• Designed and Prepared Detail Project Report of LWSS (Lift Water Supply
Scheme) - Umargam Regional Water supply Scheme covering 40 villages, which
includes collection of field data, surveying, and designing. Other DPR’s 4
numbers costing Rs. 300 millions were also prepared for this project.

• The sewerage designs were based on Manual of Sewerage and Sewage

Treatment, Government of India including Wastewater Engineering by Metcalf
and Eddy and Wastewater Treatment Plants by Qasim, S.R. Holt, Rinehart and
Winston. Work executed as per CPWD Manual volume-I & II. The work was
executed through contractor on turnkey basis.

Augmentation to Regional Water Supply Project

• Design and executed Kurgam-Tumbi and Nanapondha Regional Water Supply

Schemes costing RS.58 million and completed the project within 3 years.

• Designs and implemented approx. 50 Drinking Water Supply and sewerage

projects funded by Govt. of India & State Govt.

• Implemented approx. 20 ground water recharging works which include

construction of small check dams, percolation tanks.

• Operation & Maintenance of Regional Water Supply Scheme.

• Prepared plans, estimates drawings, Technical Feasibility Reports, Bid

Documents for various Water Supply and Sewerage schemes.

• Worked along with various NGOs and prepared various development projects for
block area.
