1. Review the Topic given. Make sure your topic corresponds to the requirement of the course as provided
by the syllabus.
2. Prepare the needed materials in advance. Reserve the equipment 3 days before your presentation or if
it is necessary book the Audio Visual Room or other facilities 2 weeks before your presentation, power
point presentation is not required however you must be able to present your topic as vivid and
comprehensive as possible. The help of visual element in the presentation is absolutely important.
3. Examine the issues/topic critically. As presenter, YOU must be able to critically scrutinize each issues
raised both in the reading materials and as transpired in the classroom discussion. DO NOT JUST READ THE
BOOK while presenting your topic instead you are encourage to be as spontaneous as possible; mastery of
the topic prior to your scheduled presentation is necessary.
4. Facilitate the learning process and be ready to answer thought provoking questionsAs lead
discussant you must be able to lay down issues in an organize manner by keeping it brief and straight
forward and to ensure quality discussions in the class you are expected to answer questions raised by your
classmates and the instructor.
5. Do not be absent on your scheduled presentation. Your schedule is base on your group agreement,
thus, failure to follow it means revoking the said agreement and the presenter shall get a failing mark in
his/her class presentation. To avoid this, make sure you communicate closely to your team leader or to
your professor informing him/her about the update of your presentation.

Presenter has clear grasp of information about the topic.
Citations are introduced and attributed appropriately and accurately
Research and supporting material is original, logical and relevant
Presenter demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering
all class questions with explanation and elaboration
Speaking outline or note cards are used for reference only
