Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 1750)

o Bach was born on the 31st March 1685 and died on


the 28th July 1750. He was a German composer and
organist from the Baroque era which is from 1600 to
the 1750s. It was a period that was composed on
the harpsichord, so there was no soft pedal, so the
notes were very crisp. He composed music for
choirs , orchestras and solo instrumentalist. He
composed Cantatas, Oratorios, Chamber Music,
Keyboard, Organ Music, Chorale Preludes.

o Burgmuller was born on 4th December 1806 and he
died on the 13th February 1874. He is a German
composer and pianist that bridges the Classical and
Romantic era. Which the Classical era is from the
1750 to the 1825 and the Romantic era is from the
1825 to the 1900. He composed Salon Music,
Etudes for Children and Ballades.

He is a composer and pianist from New Zealand and
from the 20th Century which is from the 1900 to
present. Hes known for being a composer, producer
and educationalist. He has composed stage
musicals, ballet scores, piano music, popular songs
and orchestral music.
