Description : If mine subsidence coverage is requested for a dwelling or other permanent structure, add the
amount for each structure as follows:
$18.80 for the first $10,000 of coverage
$2.77 for each additional $10,000 of coverage up to $750,000

Purpose
This Business Requirements Document (BRD) is a formal translation of associated business
needs and requirements. It has four primary functions:

Enable business sponsor (end-users) to validate that the requirements are


complete and accurate.

Enable the design, development, and testing of automated solutions, aligned with
stated business needs and requirements.

Enable traceability between the stated requirements, code, test scripts, and
software product functionality.

Enable changes in requirements to be effectively managed throughout the


System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The BRD is an agreement between the business and application project team.

Summary
1. Background
This change is applicable only to Homeowners form. It is not applicable for TN/CO
form.
With this change, premium calculation for IL Mine subsidence coverage will be
done as follow:
If mine subsidence coverage is requested for a dwelling or other permanent
structure, add the amount for each structure as follows:
$18.80 for the first $10,000 of coverage
$2.77 for each additional $10,000 of coverage up to $750,000
Please use the revised table under section 5 for Mine Subsidence Coverage
premium.
The proposed rate effective date for this implementation is December 14, 2015.
