Overcurrent release with safety concept for

3WN6 circuit-breakers
Selection and ordering data
With normal overcurrent releases, the protection parameters
are set using a rotary encoding switch or membrane keypad.
The new safety concept adopted with the H, J and K versions
of the overcurrent release provides 2 ways of setting the
protection parameters:
via an RS 232 interface, from the handheld unit or Win3WN6
via PROFIBUS-DP, from the control room.
The H, J and K overcurrent releases also provide full
selectivity (up to short-time current).
The time-delayed short-circuit release can be set to a value
of up to 4000 ms.

3VF5 and 3VF6 circuit-breakers with electronic
overcurrent releases
The new 3VF5 and 3VF6 circuit-breakers, which have electronic
overcurrent releases, permit time selectivity using compact
circuit-breakers from 200 to 2500 A.
They are available with rated short-circuit breaking capacities
of 45, 70 and 100 kA.
This provides a low-cost way of adapting to the short-circuit
current on site.
A comprehensive range of circuit-breaker accessories is
available for all types of system.
