Dr. Uddhab Kumar Bharali is an innovator, scientist and a senior technologist in the field of Agriculture.
Dr. Bharali decided to devote his lifetime in exploring new areas of employment by introducing new
innovations.
To address this, he founded U K B Agrotech, an R & D centre in North Lakhimpur, Assam which
specializes in customized machine design and research for better agricultural production. U K B Agrotech
is the only one in the organised sector which has focus on machine innovation.
Though UK B Agrotech R&D center is in Lakhimpur, which is a zero industry district, they have been
receiving assignments from all around the globe.
UKB Agrotech has been:

Satisfying customers with expected innovations, service delivery and final performing machines
Developing new technology which is cost effective and operation friendly.
Delivering expected innovations within a specific deadline of three months (max)
Investing earnings through R & D and Sales in building new innovations

Social responsibilities
Training 50 youth from rural areas technically and providing free lodging, food and Rs. 2000 as
allowance for three months
Providing free food and clothes to the elderly or to beggars in his home town. Provides a weekly
allowance of Rs. 200 to three elderly people on a regular basis
Providing free food and ration to 7 helpless families throughout the year among which are
visually impaired people, bright students from poor families etc.
Provides frequent medical assistance to people in need and without any financial support
Made it compulsory to arrange monetary assistance for the needy Students
Providing for the Funeral ceremony of poor and helpless people
Plans to set up an old age home and an orphanage for which he has purchased a small plot of
land. The Orphans would be trained to be technical experts.
