I participated in a DNA testing project with National Geographic to uncover

our ancestor, their migration route and to reveal our Paternal and Maternal
Haplogroups. I sent my DNA samples to them and the complete process of
testing included the following detailed steps spread over a period of seven
weeks: https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/process/

Test Results: The test results revealed that we have the following
haplogroups:
Paternal from Father Side: J-CTS2906 more commonly known as
haplogroup J2-M92 (This haplogroup is of central Asian origin)
Maternal from Mothers Side passed on to our mother from her mother
and her mother (Mitochondrial DNA mtDNA): R320B1 (This is of Indian and
Punjabi Origin) Meaning that Our Naani passed these genes to our mother and
then it got transferred to all the kids.
We are an admixture of Genes from Paternal Side (J2-M92) and R30B1 (from our
Mother)

National Geographic Tested more than 700,000 of my DNA makers and

revealed that we are predominantly of Central Asian origin. They compared
my DNA with the 50 reference populations that they have in their date base.

The 50 reference populations are:

https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/reference-populations-next-gen/

They Found out that our ancestry is of Central Asian Origin. This information
is determined from your entire genome, so were able to see both parents
information, going back six generations, or more.
The 49 percent Central Asian is due to our Father and 33 percent Southern
Asian is because of the maternal DNA we got from our Mother and the rest
are trace amounts that we have got from our ancient ancestors.

After comparing the above split with the reference populations , National
Geographic concluded that our first reference population is from Northern
Part of Central Asia and the second Population that matches closely to our
DNA is Pamiri ( from Tajikistan ). Genographic participants are assigned to
the two reference population they most resemble genetically and we
resemble the following two on the next page.

The migratory route our Paternal Side followed is shown below. It indicates
that the last migration they did was from Central Asia to Punjab. I have
highlighted the path in yellow. From West Asia to Central and from Central
Asia to Punjab.

The red dots on the bottom are Haplogroups that branched out over the
period of time and shows that our current Haplogroup is M92 , full name J2M92 also known as J-CTS2906. This haplogroup is not commonly found in
India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Most Indian, Pakistanis and Afghans have
R1A and R2A haplogroups that shows their Indo Aryan Origin. The R
haplogroup is connected with races that have an Indo Aryan origin.
Conclusion:
Punjabi Sidhu Jatts with Haplogroup J2-M92 are of Central Asian Stock and
this is a proof of theory presented by many historians that Punjabis (mostly

Jatts) are Asiatic Huns who migrated from Central Asia during 458-470 AD in
to the fertile lands of Punjab during the time of Indian King Chandra Gupta.
