Longhorn Awakening is a weekend retreat

for students who want to grow in faith and
fellowship alongside other young adult
Christians.

Where: Eagles Wings Retreat Center in
Burnet, TX (just outside Austindont

A $55 fee is required to attend, which will cover sleeping

CARBOS FOR CHRIST Wednesdays, 12:35 pm

Stations of the cross and Soup suppers

Please join us for Stations of the Cross and our

annual Soup Suppers every Friday this Lent!
Stations begin at 6:00 pm at St. Austin
Parish. Soup Suppers follow at 6:30 pm in
St. Austins Hecker Hall. This is a great way to
spend time in prayer with God and spend time in
fellowship with other parishioners.

Join us for lunch and fellowship in the UCC

Atrium every Wednesday at 12:35 pm. Cost is
free, but freewill offerings are happily accepted.

Hi, Im Sydney :) I am from Houston, TX and

majored in film during my undergrad years at
UT Austin. I did predominantly screenwriting
and editing and have written several narrative
scripts, but at the moment I just edit stories for
fun. Currently I am a 4th year medical student
going into Surgery, with hopes of doing surgical
oncology or colorectal surgery in the future. I
will be getting married this April to my fianc, who is also a 4th
year medical student, and we hope to be able to match in the same
place for residency training. I love being active in the outdoors
with my husky, and enjoy the variety of things to do in Austin. I
have been attending Mass with my parents for many years now
with the decision to convert, however everything didnt fall into
place until recently. I enjoy the RCIA class at UCC very much, the
people are a smart, friendly bunch and Father Ed, Marti, and the
speakers who have blessed us with their presence have made this a
very enlightening, exciting journey.
