Summary of Report

Organizational behavior can help the organizations in facing and coping up with these
challenges because these cannot be eliminated. There is no perfect solution to
organizational problems, but if handled with care and diligence, these challenges can
be covered into profitable opportunities. TQM, reengineering, leadership,
organizational culture, group norms etc. are some of the OB concepts which can help
in facing various challenges.

One of the best ways to neutralize problem employees is to take an objective look at
your employee handbook, policies, and practices. Amend any policies that are
outdated, unfair, or open the door to litigation. While youre at it, ask yourself these

What is problem?
Is something that is difficult to deal with that create barriers to doing something.
Problem employees comprise a very small portion of the workforce yet manage to
consume a disproportionate amount of HR and managements time and attention. Very
few employees set out to be a problem for their employers and those that do usually
reveal themselves quickly. They tend to be disgruntled, suspicious, and apathetic
employees and, generally, they have chronic attendance issues, performance issues,
and disciplinary issues. And, thanks to the proliferation of employment and labor law
information available via the Internet, they know just enough to effectively work the
system to their advantage particularly when it comes to state or federally mandated
benefits such as workers compensation .

Workplace diversity exists when companies hire employees from various geographical
location, backgrounds and experiences. Communication barriers lead to problems in a
company attempting to create a diverse workplace. This can lead to misunderstandings
and a decrease in productivity. Once workplace diversity is implemented, companies
must effectively manage the changes in policies. This presents a challenge for Pak
Suzuki. . Nowadays, employees demand empowerment and expect quality of status
with the management. We offer training programs to managers to help them effectively
manage their newly diverse departments.Encourage employees to express their ideas
and opinions and attribute a sense of equal value to all.

2.Work life conflict causes and solution


Increase in working hours increases the workload, which negatively affects the job
satisfaction of the employees. An employee faces different family problems along with
their job responsibilities. The child care or elderly care responsibilities some time
interfere in the job and create a situation of family to work interference.The types of
support offered, and the level of organizational commitment to work-lifestyle issues,
varies widely across companies. This part of the report examines the prevalence of
four organizational initiatives or practices that the research literature suggests may
help employees balance work and family demands:

Employee turnover can affect the company bottom line and overall productivity and
makes maintaining company growth a challenge. Turnover is caused from Political
behavior in area of work. We reduce turnover rate through equity theory that suggest
INDIVIDUAL INPUT EQUAL TO INDIVIDUAL OUTCOMES, Increase OCB,
Increase POS that can lead to more committed with them.

4.Negative Attitude about work causes and Solution


Our Employees have negative attitude at different level due to basis of different needs
every one have separate issues form other to a attitude but still they continue their job
and this lead to against their attitude we are trying to shift them from negative to
positive through salary, benefits , resolve conflicts in work life.

5.Low Organizational Commitment causes and solution


Recently we face some issues about commitment in previous years many of employees
left their job for better opportunity because they are not committed with us. This can
lead to high turnover and decrease productivity we are trying them more committed
through POS , corporate social responsibility.

6.Job Dissatisfaction causes and solution


it also challenge for us because when people are not committed and negative attitude
Its means they extremely dissatisfied from their job. That is major issues in our
company and the problem ofcommitment and attitude occur when organization not do
justice to their all workers thats called inequity in above discussion we discuss
turnover that increase through dissatisfaction. We suggested that org. make policies
same for all because pak suzuki is leading company in automobile so they their
policies is favourable for automobile employees not for motorcyles employees.

The only Job Dissatisfaction create many issue if we maintain the satisfaction level of
employees that can be lead to higher performance. Some impact that company face
due to dissatisfaction:1. Not try to satisfied the customer
2. Absenteeism
3. Work place deviance
Although paying employees poorly will likely not attract high-quality employees to the
organization or keep high performers, managers should realize that high pay alone is
unlikely to create a satisfying work environment.

7. How Negative Emotions decrease performance, its Causes and


Solutions
People have nagetive emotions when they feel inequity when they face complex
enviorment uncertain situations this had been lead to lower performance. Org. should
arrange workshop for employees, create healthy and safe work enviorment that
motivate the employees behavior and manage should be relationship oriented.
Emotions impact on our customer when they feel negative emotion customer also feel
dissatisfied. In 2012 we introduced help line that facilitate to customer when we face
the problem of emotion and mood of employees because in can be lead to the customer
satisfaction or dissatisfaction so we arranged seminar that relate to employees moods
when they talk with customers.

Different personality of people due different geographical location. Some required


higher status in organization due to Narcissem. Some are different in their conformity
level. Now our head MR.IKHLAQ WIRK that have highly narcacism. So we face
many problem. We suggest that at the time of Recruitment you have to use some
personality measure and on the basis of these things you can hire positive personality
people..
We required different personality people according to the nature of job but due to some
personal interest and political behaviors we do not recruit the people that are
accomplish our requirements. In below we discuss main issues that is occurred due to
negative personality.

Decline in profits

For marketing activities we need a extravert people but we have not this type of
people due to this personal interest and political behavior. Our liana car is decline
due technological change when our competitor adop new technology and
innovation. Still our survival was on old technology. Because our employees not
adopt change.
At this stage we suggested you should use Big Five Personality Test Through this:1.Extravert :if you recruit marketing person we see their social life how he friendly
with others and how he interact with others
2.Agreeable : if you centralized your structure you have to recruit agreeable people.
3.Conscientiousness : if you recruit finance manager you have to recruit Reliable
person.

4.Emotional Stability: if you recruit person at top level you expect from him he handle
the stress in better way.
5.openess to experience: this dimension use for innovation.

9.Group Cohesiveness low Causes and solution


Due to different geographical location and across cultural people within nation this
problem is occurred. So Pak Suzukis employees has low cohesiveness this lead to
moderate productivity. So we suggested organization must remove their geographical
differences through seminars.

10.Political behaviour Causes and solution


Many people plays politics in work place for self interest or other benefit that create
inequity for employees ultimately in can be decrease productivity , stress , anxiety and
dissatisfaction Recent some issue of one employee behaviour due to this political
behaviour and inequity that Example Discussed below :Mr. Wasiq (Assistant manager marketing) in Multan Zone he is very competent and
skill full employee his colleague Mr. Amir shahzad (Assistant Manager Marketing)
Lahore zone his tenure is less then Wasiq but previous year when some modification
in Org. structure some employees promote on top level Mr. Amir also promoted on
Marketing Manager due to some political reason because his father Ch Ashraf owner
of Al hamd Suzuki is a most important dealer of pak Suzuki so company gave them a
favour due to dealership when the Mr. Wasiq is senior emplooye then Amir that create
negative attitude in Wasiq mind about their. We reduce these types of employees
behaviour through making policies and set the criteria of promotion. And also suggest

for Wasiq try to show loyalty that bring a positive attitude and we suggest the
company do not do this kind of things.

11.Risk Avoiders and less Stimulation causes and Solution:


Some companies don't change their working structure with the fear that they might
experience loss in revenue and are contented with the profit they already earn. Their
sales remain limited. One of the prime example is Suzuki, they're lacking new
innovations thats why their yearly Sales are Limited to certain extent. Just because of
this, they provide less opportunities to their employees of bonus, promotion and
revered. That's why their behavior don't Stimulate much and employees can't innovate
new things.
Example:
Suzuki's Mehran Car has been same since so many years. No Innovation has done in it.
That's why their sales are limited
Solution:
They should give freedom to their employees so they can innovate new things/designs,
just like now they made bikes of new designs.
They should stimulate the behavior of their employees.

12.Success Planning for Higher performance


Management shouldn't prefer Friends and relatives. It happens in Pak Suzuki. Some
organizations plan ahead of time that if any manager/employee passes away or leaves
his job, whom they should be looking for to replace him/her (manager-employee).
Meaning which employee is suitable for a certain post. On the above mentioned terms
Pak Suzuki also keeps the person's past experience in that organization, manners,

personality and his entrance-exit time in view while awarding him/her with a post.
This thing helps everybody moving towards hard work. That why the behavior of Pak
Suzukis employee is good with senior. Pak Suzuki Should make decisions on
Equality.

13.People/Human orientation in production problem and Solution:


Behavior and personality of Pak Suzuki's Production dept. is nagative. They work in a
team, helps each other. Due to this its impact is very negative on the productions of
SUZUKI .
SUZUKI should take steps to make good relationship between them. Should give them
their rewards that can make their relation good.
Should develop a friendly atmosphere among themselves.

14. Infernal Caused Behavior problem and Solution:


Their few employee cause Internal Clashes due to their irresponsible habits??
SUZUKI should use more power on them. On their such mistake they should fine them
and put cuts on their salaries.

2. Modify the work place environment to decrease problem behavior.
3. Teach and reinforce new skills to increase appropriate behavior and preserve a
positive work place climate. We recommend that bosss actively teach
emplooyess socially- and behaviorally-appropriate skills to replace problem
behaviors using strategies focused on both individual emplooyess and the
whole organization. In doing so, bosss help emplooyess with behavior
problems learn how, when, and where to use these new skills; increase the
opportunities that the emplooyess have to exhibit appropriate behaviors;
preserve a positive classroom climate; and manage consequences to reinforce
emplooyess display of positive replacement behaviors and adaptive skills.
