Batman
Miniature Game
Welcome to our First
Battle for the Cowl, the
Batman Miniatures
Game event to be held at
Adepticon in Chicago,
Illinois.
The Battle Badgers would
like to thank you for
participating in the first
Battle for the Cowl event
at Adepticon 2016. This is
the first of a series of
annual events held at
Adepticon, and it will
prove to be among the best.
Everyone wants to win, but
remember that we are here
foremost to enjoy playing
this game. If there is a
dispute (e.g., difference
over how to interpret a
rule), call for a Judge.

The Judge will discuss the

situation with the players,
make sure everyone is on the
same page, and issue a
ruling. If a player is not
satisfied with the result,
they may appeal to the Head
Judge, whose ruling will be
final for the duration of the
event. Most importantly,
remember that calling for a
Judge is the best action in
the case of a dispute, and
should not be viewed as an
insult against the other
player.

Rounds

Results

Tournaments progress in a
series of tournament
rounds where each player
plays a single game against
a single opponent.

The Batman Miniature Game

uses a system of Victory
Points to determine the
winner of each scenario.
The difference in Victory
Points between the winner
and loser is used to
determine how many
Tournament Points a player
receives. The points break
down is as follows:

The tournament will follow

the "Swiss" format, in
which the participants in
the first round will be
determined via a random
draw. Later rounds will
have players paired based
on their total accumulated
tournament points.
If the number of players in
the tournament is odd the
extra player, selected at
random, will receive a bye
for the first round.

VP difference at the end of

the game
Between 0-5 VP=Draw. 2
Tournament points to
each player
Between 6-14 VP=Narrow
Victory. 3 Tournament
points to the winner and
1 point to the loser
More than 15 VP=Victory.
4 Tournament points to
the winner and 0 to the
loser

Tie-Breakers
At the end of the event , if
one or more participants are
tied with an equal number of
Tournament points, the
following steps will be
followed-in order-to
determine the winner:
1. The player with the
highest number of VPs scored
in all rounds is declared the
winner
2. If the tie persists, the
player whose crew has the
lowest Reputation is
declared the winner
3. If the tie persists, the
player whose Crew has the
lowest dollar ($) cost is
declared the winner
