Save The Earth(Poem)

Have you ever taken the time
To see what was goes around you?
Taken the opportunity
To give at every little detail of your surroundings?
Or have you closed your eyes stubbornly
Because you prefer to be blind?
In the truth
You dont want to admit that our precious earth
Is falling apart
Its beautiful skirts of grass
Is dying
Its garden of stunning plants
Is running out of air
And us,
Us, the ones who made it this way
Will one day perish into a dark hole
In a way,
We are all selfish murderers
Killing the soil we walk upon
With our trash and disgrace, our ungratefulness
Slowly
Slowly it shall fade

Speech on recycling
Did you know the average American throw weighs about four hundred pounds of trash
a day? Where does all that trash go? Well, it is not been used again and its been thrown
into landfill. A landfill is basically a dump for everyones trash gathers. At this way, the
landfills are closing at the raider at one predict. Because, theres so much trash. US with
more trash in any other country. We need to know what is a material and pollution.
Three ways we can prefer is by the 3R, reduce, reuse, and recycle. Reduce. It basically
means cut down the waste before it actually happens. The best way to do this is by refusing.
So refuse to buy things that you will only use once or refuse buy the spray things with the
chemicals like harming environment and a piece wrapping that cannot be recycled. And then
also refuse to buy things that are over package. Because, a third of the waste generated in
America is packaging. And then we can reuse which is using unwanted items over again. I
did this personally by taking things like my old clothes, shoes, jewellery that my grandmom
gets me, that I wont wear and I sold it to recycle. And usually I can get money like cash for it.
We donate to people who needed. So its being used over again. Its not being thrown away.
And now only do i get my clothes to the shop, but I also shocked from there myself because
you can find things that nobody else for wear like one of the time like pieces. Sometimes we
stich them which is really neat. So you are being environment friendly but you are looking
good at same time. So, its good. Exactly six per cent of Americans consider themselves
environment friendly. And the other way to reuse is by making art. And its just fun.
You can reuse by using rechargeable batteries. The last one is to recycle. And that
basically means the discollected items will be made into something again. My theme is
practice recycling in kitchen, its a place all the natural things that will breakdown nutrient into
soil. To put things like orange peels. All are stuffs that you are going to use. The matter will
breaks down and the liquid in our garden makes the soil rich and it smells really good. And
we have garbage bags full of plants will be taken to the place. It means you will get your
money back.

A TALK ON RECYCLING
For Lorna Rutto, bank profession sitting behind counters and serving long queues was
not a carrier that she found. Shes now in the business making fencing poses and not just
ordinary ones. Having born up by the countries sides and enjoying the large greenery Lorna
found cleaning and recycling keeps the waste through a companionship on three years back
with the machines conserved environment and create sustainable jobs.
About two thousand eight hundred matric tones of wastes produced every single day. In
that which 20% is plastic. The companionship has managed to consume 1.5million kilograms
of plastic and converted it into this plastic lumber.
So we will collect the plastic and manufacture it very ecstatic and durable because, they
do not rod and like timber they do not break easily when we concrete.
Lorna has worked side by side with youth and women groups and help them to setup
their own material recovery facility. She trains them on how to collect sort and add value to
plastic waste which is then purchased from them and taken to the factory for processing.
The company has so far created forty direct jobs and more than five hundred indirect jobs
and the material recovery facility. Earning six dollars a day women are employed in the initial
processes with the process and sort out the plastic waste. The fine crushed plastic and then
heated to 285 degrees and lifts moles and filled into a mole to produce a shape of fencing
and pose.
Wanted to do something with this and generate it into a product that will actually save our
trees but will also utilise the plastic waste from the environment and helps create job
opportunities.
We have environment coordination art which was brought into to try and organise the
industry. But even still so, we still have runners. You may not aware about the situation, but
the city is spending nearly 40millions among to pay who collectors are not doing a good job.
Another cause of concerned environmental is that waste is banned openly releasing
gases into the environment and causing respiratory problems to people living within this
surrounding areas. A recent u-lab report reveal that outdoor air pollution is estimated to kill
eight hundred thousand

people globally each year. Mainly in urban areas were forty

thousands of these deaths occur in Africa. Social believes there is room for more recycling
industries as Kenyea is on the past world sustainable development and making appointment
transitions within the country and the formal waste management sectors that as a whole
should be supported.
