Preliminary Metro Service Restoration Plan
Proposed Service Restoration Phase One: June 28, 2010

MetroLink Rush hour frequency will be improved from 15 minutes to 12 minutes, providing 6 
minute service between Forest Park‐DeBaliviere Station and Fairview Heights Station.

Metro is considering options for either expanding the current 3/4‐mile ADA service 
area, or creating a secondary service area in which service would be offered at a higher 
Call‐A‐Ride
rate than the current $4 ADA fare. Fares in the secondary area would be mileage 
based, but lower than current non‐ADA rates that have proven to inhibit mobility 
options for a significant portion of the disabled population.
#11 Chippewa Weekday daytime service improvement from 30 minutes to 20 minutes.  
Weekday morning service will be improved from 30 minutes to 20 minutes.  Afternoon 
#34 Earth City
service will be improved from 40 minutes to 30 minutes.
New route will provide service between Ballas Transit Center, South County Mall and 
#48 South Lindbergh Veteran's Hospital.  This route will replace the southern portion of service currently 
provided by #49 Lindbergh.
New route will provide service between Ballas Transit Center and North Hanley 
#49 North Lindbergh MetroLink Station.  This route will replace the northern portion of service currently 
provided by #49 Lindbergh.
Service will be provided between Clayton and Ballas Transit Center.  Service west of 
#58 Clayton Ballas
Ballas will be provided by the new #158 Hospital Connector.
#64 Lucas Hunt Rush hour service improvements from 1‐hour to 30 minutes.
#70 Grand Weekday frequency will be improved from 12 minutes to 10 minutes.
Frequency improvements will be provided.  Route will no longer serve Forest Park 
#90 Hampton
during the hours that new Forest Park Circulator is operating.
Rush hour frequency will be improved from 20 minutes to 15 minutes; midday service 
#95 Kingshighway
improved from 30 minutes to 20 minutes.
Routing will be changed to provide better service to City Museum and Washington 
#99 Downtown Circulator
Avenue.
New route will provide service to Maryville University and hospitals between Ballas 
#158 Hospital Connector Transit Center and Chesterfield.  This route will replace service west of Ballas currently 
provided by #58 Clayton Ballas.  
Route will provide service between Shrewsbury  MetroLink Station and I‐270 at 
#210 Fenton Gravois Bluffs
Gravois.  The new route will operate via Mackenzie Road and Gravois.
#240X Bissell Hills Route will be renamed #274X Bissell Hills.
Forest Park Circulator Service through Forest Park will begin Memorial Day Weekend.
Proposed Service Restoration Phase Two: September 6, 2010
#10 Gravois‐Lindell Rush hour service to Heege Road will be provided by new shuttle.
New route will provide service between Rock Road, Civic Center, and Maplewood 
MetroLink Stations via St. Charles Rock Road and Chouteau/Manchester.  Service along 
#32 M.L. King‐Chouteau St. Charles Rock Road west of Rock Road MetroLink Station will be provided by new 
#35 Rock Road Mills.  Service on Manchester west of Maplewood MetroLink Station 
will be provided by rerouted #57 Manchester. 
#34 Earth City Line will be rerouted to service only Earth City, Riverport, and Harrah's Casino.
New route will provide service west of Rock Road MetroLink Station, serving 
#35 Rock Road Mills destinations such as DePaul Hospital, Macy's Call Center, and St. Louis Mills, 
terminating at North Hanley MetroLink Station.  
#36 Spanish Lake Line will be rerouted to serve Trampe Avenue.
Line will be rerouted to serve Convention Center MetroLink Station via Broadway and 
#40 Broadway
4th Street.
New route will replace service currently provided by #45 Hazelwood Ferguson and #74 
#44 Hazelwood Florissant via Lindbergh, Shackleford, Patterson, and New Halls Ferry to Florissant 
Valley Community College.
The current #45 will be rerouted via Florissant Road, Waterford, and Dunn Road to 
#45 Ferguson Florissant
Florissant Valley Community College.
#47 North Hanley
Line will be rerouted to provide service to Halls Ferry, Lindbergh, and Washington.
Service will be provided along Manchester west of Maplewood MetroLink Station to 
Wildwood, and rerouted north along Clarkson, east along Clayton Road to Ballas 
#57 Manchester
Transit Center.  Service east of Maplewood MetroLink Station will be provided by new 
#32 M.L. King Chouteau.
#61 Chambers Road Rush hour service will be added.
Line will be rerouted to serve 12th Street between Arsenal and Civic Center MetroLink 
#73 Carondelet
Station.
Route will provide service between Florissant Valley Community College and Civic 
#74 Florissant Center; service north and west of Florissant Valley will be provided by realigned #44 
and #45.
Proposed Service Restoration Phase Three: November 29, 2010
#1 Gold All trips will serve Clayton Transit Center.
#18 Taylor Rush hour service improvements.
#56 Kirkwood Webster
Service will be extended to Des Peres Hospital and Meramec Community College.

#60 Midland Rush hour service between Big Bend MetroLink Station and St. Charles Rock Road.
