Recruitment Rules
PROFESSOR (PGT) Pay Scale: - PB-4, RS. 37400-67000, AGP RS. 10,000/QUALIFICATION:(A)
A degree in Ayurved from a university established by law or a statutory Board / Faculty / Examining body
of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
(B)
A Post Graduate Degree in the subject / speciality concerned included in the schedule to Indian
Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
(C)
Ph.D. (Ayurved) in concerned subject.
(D)
A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based
Appraisal System. (PBAS) CATEGORY III : Research and Academic Contribution mentioned in UGC
Gazzette Notification.
EXPERIENCE:Total thirteen years of teaching experience in concerned subject out of which there should be five years
teaching experience as Reader / Associate Professor at Post Graduate level in concerned subject from
recognized college / Institute.
AGE:- Not more than 55 years.
RELAXATION:- Age may be relaxed in case of internal candidate.

Total ten years experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor of Under Graduate teaching in the concerned
subject recognized by Ayurvedic College / Institute.
AGE:- Not more than 50 years.
RELAXATION:- Age may be relaxed in case of internal candidate.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (PGT) Pay Scale: -PB-3, RS. 15600-39100, AGP RS. 6000/QUALIFICATION:(A)
A degree in Ayurved from a university established by law or a statutory Board / Faculty / Examining body
of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
(B)
A Post Graduate Degree in the subject / speciality concerned included in the schedule to Indian
Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
AGE:- Not more than 45 years.
RELAXATION:- Age may be relaxed in case of internal candidate.
DESIRABLE:- Ph.D. degree in the concern subject.

Essential Qualification:- B.Sc. (Nursing) / M.Sc. (Nursing)

Maximum Age : 40 Years
Experience: M.Sc. (Nursing) with 08 years OR B.Sc. (Nursing) with 10 years in a recognized hospital and out of
this at least three years in the post of Assistant Matron or equivalent.
Desirable: CCC+ Certificate course / Equivalent course in computers.
Relaxation: Internal candidates will be given relaxation in educational qualification and age.
