YOURE NOT ALONE

A heartfelt piece from Acharya Ishan Shivanand ji for all sadhaks
In the natural process of evolution of spiritual wisdom, every milestone is something a
seeker must cherish, respect and learn something from. When a Siddha Guru awakens
the flame of meditative practice in his own ashram, in his own country and in his
country peers, it is time for him to spread this flame further and for that, he has to step
beyond his doorstep.
The Guru is actually a being of light, directly seeking his luminosity and flame from
the Supreme Source of Creation.
After empowering the indigenous masses with the sacred healing wisdom, a time
came when Baba ji and I had to step ahead and reach out to the millions who invoked
their spiritual presence just as we did a few seasons back as Shiv Yog is not a country,
not a religion - it belongs to anyone who wants to learn it.
WISDOM IS UNIVERSAL, OUR LOVE TOO
Just as all have the right to know about the body and medicine, in the same way all
have the right to know about the self and energy medicine. Nobody can put claim on
the sun or the moon or the stars. They are nature. For them, there are no barriers of
discrimination. In the same way, Baba ji and I belong to all.
Our love for all people is same. We see no difference. We teach to all who wish to
learn.
UNITY OF CONSCIOUSNESS IN DIVERSITY OF SPECIES
And this is what they encourage in all the people of the world. The higher realization
that we all are part of the planet, part of the spectrum of species as we all are one,
made of the same energy. And we all deserve the inheritance that is the secret of the
siddhas.
Swami Vivekanand once went abroad to show the world, the glory of Indian heritage.
Baba ji and I travel to show the world, the glory of Indian healing sciences and not
only show but share it with the whole world.
WORTHINESS BEYOND PAROCHIALISM
As mortals, we can never say who is deserving. Knowledge is for all. Today, people
abroad practice yoga with more vigour. And so have developed the keenness to
receive more. Healing grace must be nurtured and then thought of putting claim to.
Baba ji sees no difference between natives and foreigners. To him, there are no
Canadians, no British, no mark of difference. For him, all are the children of God. All
human beings are imperfect through experience but capable through heritage and
lineage.
Shiv Yog is for all. How will the young Indians settled overseas ever come to realize
their real traditional sacred wealth? They might have transcended the shores of their
country but the motherland has not forgotten them. In the group of lucky souls who
receive enlightening discourses from Baba ji are our own brethren. It is important to
remind them of their heritage. And in the process of awakening them, they also
become the medium to spread the grace to even those who are uninitiated such as
those of foreign descent. It becomes a win-win proposition thus.

COMMON DIVINITY AS DRIVING FORCE

Just like a seed from a tree must give birth to same tree, we too are seed of the
universe. You and I, we too can create the same divinity.
That's what he believes and that's what is my dream. Baba ji is my father, everybody
else my guru brother. Everywhere I go, I see the spark of God in every soul and I
know the reason.
Why we travel, why he travels. Like a baby needs to be nurtured, he nurtures the
divinity in us before it goes out.
So that a time comes, when all trees are laden with fruits, all rivers are flowing, all
creatures are happy and content and all souls are in bliss.
FOR AN IDEAL CIVILIZATION
That is the future in which my father believes in and so does his father all the way
back to Shiva. That is the future I too want to give to my sons and eventually to their
sons all the way till Shiva. This planet is ours, our responsibility and accepting it
means Shiv Yog too.
He runs and make me run - so people everywhere in the farthest corner of the globe
know with assurance that if they are tired, there is someone to support them.
OUR GUIDING LIGHT
If they are clueless, there is the one who will guide them, someone who loves them
for who they are someone who believes in them, someone who cares so much that not
a day goes by, not a second when he doesn't pray for them, someone who has given
his family, his knowledge and his life just for them, someone to remind them that
even if they may feel they are not alone.
I want tell you that we love you, we care, we pray, we hope, we bless and we are
always there for you. So, even if you may be busy, know this - we are there always
and today because we can, we come to you physically as well as spiritually. We will
help you in all our power, so you may be happy.
Remember that God is infinite, his grace is infinite. You are a drop in that ocean and
one day you realize that you are no longer the drop, but the ocean yourself.
