Overall description of company activities

Nuziveedu Seeds is the largest hybrid seed company in India. It is part of the NSL Group, which has activities spanni
infrastructure sectors. Besides being the largest Bt cotton Seed Company nationally, Nuziveedu Seeds also produces
crops such as paddy, corn, sorghum, pearl millet, sunflower and vegetable crops. As of April 2012, the company oper
agents, approximately 2500 distributors and over 59,000 dealers spread across 17 states. Nuziveedu Seeds has buil
the years, thanks to its intensive and rigorous R&D efforts and its stringent quality control processes. Today, it is the p
earning revenues of Rs. 10 billion in 2011-2012 and supplying over 5.5 million farmers throughout the country.
