FAQ for Super Robot Wars F and Super Robot Wars F Final for Saturn Version
3.00
This is the FAQ, or Frequently Asked Questions, for the game Super Robot Wars
F and Super Robot Wars F for Saturn. I have translated almost every command
and option in the game, I also have written the commands in Japanese, so if
you have a program that will display it on English Windows, like NJWIN, etc.,
you will be able to see it in Japanese, so you can just print it out and use
it pretty much like a cheat sheet. I will translate them in the order they
appear in the instruction manual, so for those of you who don't have programs
to display Japanese won't be at a loss as to how to tell them apart, but since
I don't know if there is a standard order for pilots and items, unless you
know Chinese (since this game have tons of Kanji) or Japanese, you will be
pretty much be at a loss. I cannot really help it, since saving those in
graphics files waste too much space, not to mention a lot of time, so I hope
you don't mind.
Note: If you use Internet Explorer, you can download the Japanese fonts from
Microsoft, and then use IE when you view this file, you will be able to read
the Japanese fonts (IE 4.0 does it automatically, but for IE 3.0, you will
have to manually choose the Japanese fonts under preference, then choose
fonts). Write (one of the text editors that come with Windows) cannot read the

every time you reset (as everybody who had play SRW games know, we reset a
lot).
Notice: SRWFF will use the same system files as SRWF, so by playing SRWFF
leaving the system files in memory, SRWFF will overwrite the system file. That
shouldn't be a problem except that once it's overwritten, you cannot use that
file to view the cut scene in SRWF, since SRWF cannot recognize the file. If
you still want to re-watch those movies, be sure to back it up first.
If you find anything wrong (spelling, grammar, etc.), please feel free to send
them to me. If you have any comments, etc., feel free to send them to me, too.
If you have any official romanization (Japanese words, but spelled in English)
of the pilots and robots in the game that I don't have, please, I mean, please
sent them to me, I am desperate! You can find my most recent FAQ on my page
at:
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Battlefield/3605/srwf.htm
Or if you don't want to remember such a long address, you can also access my
page at:
http://go.to/edf91
Then just go to the SRWF section. One warning - the go.to address have pop-up
windows and stuff, so if you had a slow connection or just don't want all
those windows flowing around, then go to the geocities site directly.
Revision History:
1.0 Only include basic information, complete member and robot list.
1.10 Include complete episode guide, add stats information for the pilots and
robots. Also updated what to expect in SRWF Final section. (2/21/98)
1.11 Add a little more to the anime comments for some characters in the Gundam
section, and correct some of my errors. (3/3/98)
2.0 Correct some of my mistakes again, and I also include stuff that is found
only in SRWFF, the second part of SRWF. (5/3/98)
2.1 I complete the episode guide up to episode 57(58), and I also include most
of the secrets that I found in SRWFF so far. I also update the skills and
magic list of the pilots, so all the skills and magics of pilots that join you
before episode 55(56) will be listed. I also update the item list. (5/19/98)
2.11 I corrected some of my errors (like Gato and Neue Ziel), other than that,

pilots and get to see their cool attacks again. The first few SRW games are
for either Gameboy, Famicom or Super Famicom, and the last few are for either
Playstation and Saturn. The most popular SRW game probably is 4th Super Robot
War, since it's the only SRW game that actually has an ending, well, it's
actually a paragraph of what do the characters do after the war. The 4th Super
Robot War was released for both Super Famicom and Playstation, with
Playstation version is the first SRW game ever to have the original voice
actors/actresses doing the character's voice and there is minor changes to the
game also. This game, SRWF, is also based on 4SRW, except that there are new
robots from different series and some robots are taken out, and the storyline
is almost completely rewritten. This game has all the voice actors/actresses,
like the Neo Super Robot Wars for Playstation, and the robots are still in
Super Deformed, SD, or big-head-small-body form, unlike NSRW. It has a new
feature that isn't found in other SRW games (except for Lord of the Elementals,
a SRW side story based on the characters created specifically for 4SRW), that
most main pilots have several face portraits, with each one expressing
different emotions. There are also DVE, or Dramatic Voice Events, which is
basically famous spoken line, taken directly from the anime shows, like Hiro
Yui of Gundam W's "I will kill you" to Relena.
The game play is pretty simple. After conversation between your team members,
you will then go to the map screen, where most of the time you have to kill
your enemies in order to clear the map. After that, and some more conversation,
you can then save and upgrade your robots, switch robots, review your members'
stat, put upgrade items on robots, etc. Sounds easy, right? But enemies
always upgrade their robots more than you do and they usually have a higher
level than you do, so what's your advantage? Well, you do have "magic", which
are just like magic in typical RPG games that allow to dodge any attack, do
more damage, etc.
2) Command or Menu translation
When you first start up the game, you will be presented with four options:
Note to SRWF players using their old saves on SRWFF:
If you want to use your own save file to start SRWFF, you have to use the load
option, not start. The save file will appear in red, just load and you will be
taken to the intermission screen. Just proceed as you have just finished an
episode and you will start then in SRWFF.
- Start - start the game from the very beginning.
- load - load the game from a saved file from intermission - between
episodes. You can save as many as your internal Saturn memory or save cart.

- underwater - stop your robot from flying and stay in the water. Won't
use up the pilot's turn after using this command.
- separate - separate your robot into several robots (if your robots have
combine/separate ability). Some robots, like Re-GZ, can only separate but
cannot change back to its previous form. Won't use up the pilot's turn after
using this command.
- combine - combine several robots into one (if your robots have combine
ability), as long as they can be combined with the robots close (about one or
two square) by. Won't use up the pilot's turn after using this command as long
as you don't use the main pilot to initiate the command.
- parts - use your equipped items to recover HP or EN. Won't use up the
pilot's turn after using this command.
- repair - repair a nearby team robot.
- resupply - resupply (recover ammo and EN) a nearby team robot. Your
team robot you resupply's morale will decrease by 10.
- cut cable - Only can be used by EVAs. Cut the umbilical cable of EVA so
EVA won't have to stay within ten square of an electric outlet or battleship.
Won't use up the pilot's turn after using this command.
- dock - put the robot in battleship. The robot will recover HP and EN
and ammo while in battleship (ammo will be immediately recovered, while HP and
EN take a few turns). The robot's morale will decrease by 10.
Map command menu - when you press A or C (accept button) when you are over an
empty square, you will be presented with the following:
- phase end - end your turn and turn over to the enemy's turn.
- team list - lists your team in a list, so you can easily locate your
team members (will be pretty much useless unless you can read the Japanese
names).
- counterattack command - bring up the screen where you can choose to
let the computer choose whether to counterattack or let you decide yourself.
- manual - let yourself choose whether to counterattack or
not, and you can choose whether weapon to counterattack with.
The following choices all let the computer to decide whether to
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
counterattack or not (except for the last choice, which is always block or
dodge). The computer will always pick a weapon that can normally (without
being block, hit an AT Field, etc.) would kill off the enemy or do maximum
damage. The computer will block if the robot has very little agility,
otherwise will dodge.
- will always counterattack, as long as the enemy is within
your attack range.
- will dodge or block if the enemy's level is lower than yours,
but otherwise will counterattack.
- will always dodge or block.
- Mission Goal/Scenario Goal - list the requirement for advancement
to the next episode. The upper part is the goal for your victory, while the
bottom part is the goal for enemies' victory.
- "magic" check - check the "magic" of your current team members
(those that you didn't pick to be on the map won't show up) to see what do the
"magic" do. If you choose any one of them, you will then be presented with the
list of members that has that "magic", with a number on top of the window that
says how much SP that "magic" cost. Those members that has already moved or
don't have enough SP will be shown in red.
- system - change the configuration in the following:
- square - decide whether you want the squares to appear on
the map or not. It's a lot easier to count squares with it turn on.
- sound - can pick , stereo, or , mono.
- main character voice - you can turn your own character's
voice on or off.
BGM - fighting BGM's configuration:
- will change the BGM back to the original BGM of that
particular episode after every attack.
- the BGM will remain the same until you attack using a
unit from another BGM or when you switch to enemy's turn.
- change the button configuration. Since it's pretty
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
standard and easy to learn the current button configuration, I suggest you
leave it alone.
- save - save in the continue slot. You can only save in this slot only
once, even if you have a cart for saves. Anytime you use this save, you will
erase the last continue save.
Inter-episode menu - after you beat an episode and watch the conversation, you
will be brought to the following menu:
- data save - save the game. You can save as many game as you
want, as long as you have enough space. There's two choice, the first one is
Saturn's internal memory, and the second one is the backup save cart.
- unit enhancement - enhance any of your units. They are sorted
according to HP. You can enhance each attribute of your unit five times, and
each enhancement cost more money.
- weapon enhancement - enhance any weapon of your units. The units
are sorted according to HP, and the weapons are sorted according to the damage.
You can enhance the weapon five times, the first two enhancements will only
increase damage by 100, then the next three enhancements will increase damage
by 150 (for some weapons, the last increase will be 200).
- unit ability - looking at the ability of your units. Look just
like the ability screen when you are on the map. If you press A or C (accept
button) when you are in any unit's ability screen, you will go on to the
weapon screen for that particular unit. (For detail explanation, take a look
at my ability screen explanation further down in my FAQ).
- pilot ability - looking at the ability of your pilots. They
are sorted according to their levels. Look just like the pilot ability screen
when you are on the map. (For detail explanation, take a look at my pilot
ability screen explanation further down in my FAQ).
- change pilot - change what unit your pilot will pilot. You can also
change what unit will your fairy be in.
- pilot - change what unit your pilot will pilot. You can
only choose among the pilots that can pilot other robots.
- fairy - change what unit your fairy will be in.
- enhancement items - put various enhancement items on your units.
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
These items are found by either defeating current enemies or after a certain
episode.
- go on to the next episode.
Ability screen explanation. When you choose the ability option for a unit or
pick a robot under unit ability in inter-episode, you will then go on to the
ability screen for a robot. The screen will compose of a picture of the unit,
along with various information about the unit:
- size - the size of your unit. It can be SS (for people), S, M, L,
and LL. S and SS size unit get a bonus on dodging while L and LL get 20% and
40% deduction on dodging respectively.
- special ability - in this section, it will list any special ability
of the unit:
- beam coat - will absorb 1000 worth of beam damage. If a
beam attack caused over 1000 damage, 1000 worth of damage will be absorbed.
Any use of this cost 5 EN.
I - I-Field - will absort 2000 worth of beam damage. If a
beam attack caused over 2000 damage, 2000 worth of damage will be absorbed.
Any use of this cost 5 EN.
- Aura Barrier - will block any beam attack less than 3000.
Any use of this cost 5 EN. If the pilot has Aura Senshi skill, the
effectiveness will also increase (see section under skill.)
AT - AT Field - will block any attack, unless the opponent
also has AT Field, that cause 4000 or less.
- Berserk - EVA unit 1 only - after being destroyed, EVA unit 1
will go berserk, only attack with , or bite (that's the definition I
get from the dictionary) (it can also attack air units), level will be higher,
since it's not Shinji who's piloting EVA unit 1, the morale will be 150, and
it will attack ANY nearby units, including your own. It's possible to reverse
the process, but you will have to destroy the berserked EVA unit 1.
Note: You will have to pay for the repair for a berserked EVA unit 1 (a 40000
lesson).
- after-image - will only be activate when the pilot's morale is
at or over 130. The unit will have a 50% chance of using after-image, which
makes the unit takes no damage, even if the attack connects (or so we thought).
It is a common anime knowledge that human can only see things moving below a
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
certain speed, so when something move faster than we can see, we see multiple
image of the same thing in motion. After-image is based on this knowledge.
Note: In SRWFF, after-image will only happens if you didn't choose to
dodge or block.
HP() - HP Recover(small) - recover 10% of HP after every turn.
HP() - HP Recover(big) - recover 30% of HP after every turn.
- transform - the unit can transform.
- combine - the unit can combine with other unit to form another
unit.
- separate - the unit can separate. All combined unit can separate.
The following special ability can only be found in SRWFF:
S2 - S2 Engine - for EVA Unit 1 only. With this, EVA Unit 1 no
longer needs the umbilical cable, which means EVA Unit 1 now don't needs to be
10 squares around the battleship without having to worry about disappearing.
You will only get it if you let the 14th Angel "defeat" EVA Unit 1.
- type - describe what type of terrain is the unit designed for. (Refer
to terrain explanation for Japanese for different kind of terrain).
- mobility - number of squares a unit can move.
- agility - this effect how well an unit can dodge or aim.
- armor - this effect how much damage any attack would caused on the unit.
The higher, the better.
- limit - It is little hard to explain, but this is basically the limit
of how well can the unit dodge or aim. How well you dodge mainly depends on
the dodging ability and the agility of the unit. The sum of these two numbers
are limited by the limit of the unit. If the limit is 400 but the sum of the
dodging ability and agility of the unit is 420, only 400 is used for
calculating your chance of dodging an attack. Dodging, aiming, and reflex is
limited by limit (as for how limit works for reflex, please refer to the pilot
ability screen explanation.)
- terrain - it show how well the unit do in each terrain. An "A" means
that the unit actually get a bonus for being in that terrain. A "B" don't get
any bonus, a "C" get a little deduction, while a "D" gets a lots of deduction.
A "F" means the unit cannot be in that terrain.
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
- air.
- land.
- sea (underwater).
- space.
- shield.
- Have (yes, it has a shield) - means the unit has a shield.
- None (no, it doesn't have a shield) - means the unit don't have a
shield.
Weapon screen explanation. When you choose the third option under ability
screen, or whether you choose the attack option, you will get to the weapon
screen.
- the name of the weapon.
[+] - when this comes before a weapon's name, it means the weapon will
use the pilot's long range attack stats when the pilot use this weapon.
If a hand appear before a weapon's name, it means the weapon will use
the pilot's close range attack stats when the pilot use this weapon.
If a "P" appears after a weapon's name, it means that the weapon can be
used after a move.
If a "B" appears after a weapon's name, it means that the weapon is a
beam weapon.
- the attacking power of the weapon.
- range. The range of that weapon.
- hit rate. It's the number that will be added to the aiming stats during
an attack. The higher the number, the more likely the attack will connect.
- ammo. The number on the left indicate the current amount of ammo, while
the number on the right indicate the maximum number of ammo the unit can have
for that particular weapon. A -- means it doesn't use ammos.
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
Just substitute the attack stats, dodging and aiming stats at Pilot's stat and
you can calculate the final stats used when an EVA pilot attacks. As you can
see, the higher the synchronize rate, the better.
- close range combat - the stat of the pilot for his or her close range
combat skill. The higher the number, the more damage the pilot can do when the
pilot is using a close range weapon. The basic value is 100, and the highest
is 255.
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
- long range combat - the stat of the pilot for his or her long range
combat skill. The higher the number, the more damage the pilot can do when the
pilot is using a long range weapon. The basic value is 100, and the highest is
255.
- aiming - the stat of the pilot for how good the pilot is at scoring a
hit on enemy. This number, combined with agility of the robot, is limited to
the limit of the robot. When it's over the limit of the robot, the stat number
will appear in red.
- dodging - the stat of the pilot for how good the pilot is at dodging.
this number, combined with agility of the robot, is limited to the limit of
the robot. When it's over the limit of the robot, the stat number will appear
in red.
- level - the current level of the pilot. An increase in level will
increase every stat, unless it went over the limit (like attacking stats). The
level can range from 1 to 99 (In SRWF, you can only go up to level 40, unless
you cheat using Game Shack, etc.).
- morale - the morale will effect how much damage can do and received.
The starting morale is normally 100 (There is two exceptions, when the pilot
appears in two consecutive episode during the attacks on bases {There's two
attack on bases in SRWF}, and for certain pilots during certain episodes). The
morale can range from 50 to 150. Morale will go back to 100, with the
exception on attacks on bases, after every episode. When the pilot takes a hit
or if your team member kills off an enemy, the morale will increase by 1. The
pilot's morale will increase by 4 if the pilot kills an enemy (without using
MAP weapon.) The change in morale after one of your team member dies depends
on the "mental strength" of the pilot killed. Mentally weak pilots' morales
will decrease by 1 if any member of their team dies, while normal pilots'
morales will stay the same. Mentally strong characters' morales will increase
by 1 when one of their team members is dead. Some pilots, whose mental
strength is extremely strong, their morales will increase by 2 when any of
their team members die. You have to know the storyline from the series the
pilot is from in order to determine the pilot's mental strength, but it's a
safe bet that most bosses are extremely strong mentally, so that's why their
morales usually so high when you fight them.
NEXT - the number of experience points require to advance to the next level.
Normally, you need 500 experience points to advance to the next level, but you
can only advance up to level 40 in SRWF.
- reflex - the reacting speed of the pilot. When reflex is 200 or over,
the pilot can move twice. This stat is limited by the robot's limit (just the
reflex number, not including the agility of the robot). It also help dodging
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
and aiming, since this number is part of the equation in calculating the
percent for scoring or dodging a hit.
- skill level - the stat used in order to calculate the probability of
scoring or receiving a critical hit. The higher the number, the more likely
the pilot is going to score a critical hit, and the pilot is less likely to
receive a critical hit. It is also use with "mercy", since you can only
successfully use "mercy" when the pilot's skill level is HIGHER than the
enemy's skill level. There is always a 1% chance of a critical hit, so anybody
has a chance of scoring a critical hit. Is it just me, or does it seems that
the computer can always score a critical hit while you cannot...
- terrain - how well the pilot will perform at a particular terrain. The
grades range from A to D.
- "magic" point - the amount of "magic" point, or SP, does the
pilot has. The number on the left, before the /, indicate the current SP,
while the number on the right indicate the maximum SP.
- "magic" command - the list of "magic" the pilot has. The pilot
can have a maximum of six "magic".
- special ability - list the special ability, if any, of the pilot.
- Newtype - Amuro, Char, and other pilots from the Gundam
Series (except for Kou) fit in this catgory. Their Piloting skills are
exceptional and they have the ability to use Newtype weapons such as
,Funnels, and , Fin Funnels. They were also able to
move twice quicker, (most of them anyway). Funnels have a basic range of 7.
The Newtype level will increase dodging, aiming and the range of funnels based
on the following chart:

been genetically altered so the human will have Newtype abilities even though
that human is not a Newtype. In the anime, all Enhanced humans are somewhat
emotionally unstable.
- Aura Senshi - great pilots in the Aura Battler Dunbine series,
since aura battlers are "powered" by aura of the pilot. Level 1 is required
for , aura cut, while level 3 is required for ,
hyper aura cut. In the anime, an extremely powerful Aura Senshi can go Hyper,
which will expand the robot, from a size S to size LL, when the pilot's
emotion reaches a certain state. Luckily, you won't have to face any Hyper
aura battler in SRWF. Each Aura Senshi level will increase dodging ability,
effectiveness of aura barrier and damage of hyper aura cut (not the one used
by Dunbine or Billvine, since it's a bug in SRWF, first pressing, for Saturn)
based on the following chart:

- shield defense - the ability to use a shield (if the
robot has one) to reduce the damage by half. The chance of using this ability
is the level / 16. The highest level is 9.
- sword blocking - ability to use a sword or beam saber or
saber or any sword like weapon to cut down any solid projectile, like missiles,
funnels, sword or saber attack, and any dashing like attack like shining
finger and progressive knife. The pilot will receive no damage after the
attack. The chance of using this ability is the level / 16. The highest level
is 9.
- potential - when the unit's HP is at 1/8 of maximum or below,
the chance of scoring a critical hit increase by 50%. A skill found in all
Super Robot pilots.
The following skills can only be found in SRWFF:
- Clear Mirror, Still Water - A skill that only Domon can
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
learn. It enables Domon to change God Gundam from normal mode to Hyper Mode
(when Domon's morale is 130 or over), which have more attacks. God Gundam
Hyper Mode also have after-image. After God Gundam goes into Hyper Mode, all
of Domon's stats, like attack stats and dodging, would increase by 10.
- Genius - A skill only found in Jung Freud. She only needs 450
experience points to advance to the next level.
- Guts - A skill only found in Noriko. When she uses HP1, HP2, or Great
Effort, it would cost 25% less SP. Noriko will only get this skill if you pick
the space road.
- Super Guts - Only found in Noriko. If Gunbuster's HP is less
than 20% and the number of enemy units is higher than your team's number of
units, she will recover all her SP. Noriko won't have this skill unless a
certain condition is met in episode 74(75) in Posaydal road. You can also use
it for one episode if you met a certain condition in episode 75(76) in DC road.
3) Some difference between SRWF and SRWFF that you should know about
There are some things very different between SRWF and SRWFF that you
should know about so after playing SRWF, you won't be "surprised" by the
changes in SRWFF. First of all, the enemies are smarter. They will try to
attack anything with weak defense first, and they will also try to avoid
attacking any unit right next to them. If you don't keep it in mind, you might
find yourself with a couple of lost units simply because you don't know how
the computer thinks. Second of all, the increase of SP and reflex after level
30 (or so) is different. After level 30 (or so), the reflex would increase by
1 after every two level increase instead of 1 every increase in level. SP will
only increase by 1 instead of 2 for very advancement in level.
4) Complete "magic" list and explanation
Here is the description of the 30 "magic" found in SRWF and SRWF Final. The
first 24 "magic" are arranged in the order they appear in the manual on page
50 and page 51. The first word of each "magic" will appear on the pilot's
information screen (screen that appear when you press B (cancel button) over
any pilot), telling you that particular "magic" is active on that pilot. If
you have a program capable to view Japanese, you can see the the first word in
kanji, or Chinese character. For those "magic" that don't have kanji, I also
include the first word in there, so you would know what "magic" is active. I
also list how much SP it would cost to use a "magic".
- Detect - 1 SP - Able to take a look at the enemy's ability screen, even

when you didn't fight it before in the map (since the only way you can take a
look at enemy's ability screen on the map is to either 1) have attack it
before or 2) use Detect on the enemy).
- Substitute - 35 SP - when you use it on one of your units, when an
enemy is attacking the unit you casted the "magic" on, the caster of the
"magic" will take the damage instead of the casted unit. Note that even if you
cast Flash, the caster of the "magic" will still takedamage. The kanji is .
- Great Effort - 20 SP - for one attack, you get double the experience
than you normally get (enemy's attack counts as an attack).
- Concentrate - 15 SP - The final aiming and dodging stats (meaning after
all the calculation, based on the unit and the pilot, is done) will increase
and decrease by 30, respectively, for the rest of the turn (including your
turn and the enemy's turn).
Note: Since it's possible for the final calculation to be over 100 percent, so
don't be surprised to see only a minor or no change whatsoever in the dodging
or aiming percentage when attacking bosses.
- Flash - 15 SP - can successfully dodge one enemy attack, even when
the attacker (can be your own team member, if you use MAP weapons) uses 100%
Hit. The kanji is .
- Self Destruct - 1 SP - Destroy your own unit, while causing damage
equal to the amount of HP that the caster unit has (regardless of the armor,
morale, etc. of the surround units) to all units surround it.
- 100% Hit - 25 SP - for one turn (from your turn to the enemies' turn),
you will always hit your enemy or your own unit (MAP weapon), unless that unit
uses Flash.
- HP1 - 20 SP - recover 1/3 of HP for caster.
- Exhaust - 50 SP - decrease any enemy unit on map morale by 10.
- Trust - 30 SP - recover any one of team unit's HP by 1/3.
- Hot Blood - 40 SP - do double damage for one attack. Cannot be used
with Spirit at the same time.
- Invisible - 60 SP - the enemy will not see you and will not attack
you (even if you attack them and they are suppose to counterattack).
- Iron Wall - 30 SP - for one turn, (from your turn to the enemies' turn),

resurrect, but the unit will always appear in one of the four squares surround
the caster.
- Dream - ???? SP - the caster can cast any "magic" of your team member on
the map (just pick magic as if you are using other member's magic), but the
amount of SP used will be doubled (the number shown when you casted Dream is
the final amount of SP used). It is possible to use it to use unlimited Rally,
but you would have to look at section 9 for details...
- Miracle - 100 SP - this "magic" will cast Motivate 3 time, HP2, Speed
Up, 100% Hit, Lucky, Flash and Spirit all with just one "magic". The only team
members that seems to have it is Cham, Four and Noriko.
5) Complete Item List. Here's the complete list of items that were supposed to
be in the game (but some of them, like anti-beam coating and I-Field Generator,
is not found in SRWF) and what does each one of them do. Those items that has

for that item, so if you know the official name, please tell me!

and when I list the robot names under member name, I will not include the
Japanese name, since it takes too much time (for me). If I have watched the
series, I will include some comments too, otherwise I will just include my
comment on that character relating to the game. I usually list the name as
they appear in the game, which means the first name appears before the last
name, but for characters with Japanese names that has kanji, the last name
will be listed first, then the first name. I still list the first name first
in English. When I list the stats for the pilot, I will list them as: Long Long Range attack, Close - Close Range Attack, Dodge, Aim, Reflex, Skill, L Land, W - Under Water, A - Air, and S - Space. The stats listed here is for
the pilot if he/she is level 1, so you can use it as a basis for comparison.
When I list the mental strength of the pilot, I mean what will a killed member
in your team will do to the pilot's morale - if the pilot's mental strength is
weak, the pilot's morale will decrease by 1. For detail explanation, refer to
the section under morale. When I am listing the stats for robots, Items stands
for how many items the robot can equip, and Shield means that robot has a
shield, Saber means the robot has a saber (which mean the robot can use it to
block, as long as the pilot has the Sword Block skill). The robot stats listed
is for the robot without any upgrade.
Note: For those pilots that will only appear in SRWFF, I will also list the
level for which the pilot will join you, and the stats at that level. If I
don't mention the level, it means that 1) I don't know at what level will
he/she join you 2) The stats reflect when the pilot is at level 1.

Char's Counterattack
Pilot of Gundam, ReGZ, Nu Gundam
Anime comment - This is the ace of the Gundam show, the very first Newtype,
and perhaps the most famous Gundam character, since he appears in three
different Gundam shows, and his name is mentioned in a few other Gundam shows
too. In this SRW setting, both of his love interest, Beltochika from Zeta
Gundam and Chien from Char's Counter Attack, are still alive and still
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
fighting for his love (although you won't see them in this game, but Judo does
hint of their exsistence.). Maybe it's a trait of Newtype - you can never
decide which woman to date... In Gundam, his father is one of the designers of
Gundam, and Amuro just happens to grabs the manual and see the Zakus attack on
the Gundam. He just climbed in and managed to kill both of them. It was the
beginning of the road for Amuro to become the best MS pilot in Gundam series.
Along the way, he meets his nemesis, Char, and his true love, Lalah Sun. Lalah
was killed when she blocked Amuro's stab at Char (Char was distracted by Sayla,
his sister, right before Amuro stab at him). At the end of the original Gundam,
both Char and Amuro's MS were destroyed, so their duel weren't conclusive. In
the TV series, it was hinted that Sayla and Amuro is a pair (in the novels,
Amuro actually slept with Sayla). In Zeta Gundam, the Federation treat him as
a "prisoner" because they are afraid of what he can do and what Newtype really
is (they had people spying on him all the time). After Bravo, his childhood
friend, and the children that were on boarded the White Base paid him a visit,
they finally managed to convince Amuro to take action. Once there, he met
Beltochika, a girl who hate "violence" yet loves a man who can fight if there
is a reason to fight. They became a pair, although Beltochika never really
knows about the whole incident with Lalah). In Char's Counterattack, the Lalah
incident is perhaps the source of Char's hate toward Amuro, and decide to drop
a colony on Earth (although the "official" reason is that he felt that the
officials on Earth has no regard to people living in space, therefore they
need a "wakeup call"). Amuro and Char fight it out one last time, and Amuro
won, of course. Their fate were never finalized, since they were both on the
colony when it was moved out of Earth's orbit by Amuro's Newtype power
enhanced by the Psycho Frame system. Maybe they survived (Tomino is just
itching to kill them off), but most of the Gundam fans assume they are dead.
Game comment - He has the highest dodge rate of all, and his skill level is
one of the highest. Even though the robots he piloted is a bit weak, but since
he's the earliest character to be able to move twice (level 30), you should be
trying to keep up his level.

Series: Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam:
Char's Counterattack
Pilot of Type 100, Type 100 Kai, Sazabi
Anime comment - This is probably the most famous Gundam character of all times,
and probably the coolest villain too. In this game, he still has his cool
appearance. In this SRW setting, he still has the leadership ability, and
maybe he might leave you later (like 4SRW). In Gundam, he became a soldier
only to get revenge on the Zabi family, since they killed his father, the real
founder of Jion (his father believe that by living in space, people will start
to develop the ability to communicate to other people without having the need
to speak, just via some thing similar to telepathy). He left his sister, and
become one of the best soldier ever in Jion history. He earned the nickname,
"the Red Comet", and just mentioning his nickname created fear in most of
Federation pilots' minds. Found Lalah Sun to be a perfect candiate as a
substitute for his mother (he never spend much time with his mother, I guess),
but Lalah only truly love Amuro (not in the novel version), and she only felt
grateful for Char's rescue from her old life. It is easy to see that Char
doesn't like Amuro simply for that, although he used to claim that he hated
Amuro because he kept getting in Char's way (yeah, right, and I am the next
President of the United States...). After killing off the Zabis in Gundam, he
left Axis (nobody see him killed the Zabis is still alive, so nobody suspects
him) and join AEUG when he felt that Haman Khan, his lover at that time, is
getting power-hungry and that Earth needs another Newtype to rescue Earth from
power-hungry officials. He still hasn't get over his hate toward Amuro,
although they can still work together. Doesn't really like to be a leader,
although he has the ability to be a great one. He felt Camille has the
potential to be a great pilot like Amuro, so he didn't say anything when
Camille get Zeta Gundam (he can get it if he insisted on it since he is the
leader of AEUG halfway through Zeta Gundam). After the fight with Haman that
left his Type 100 destroyed (he could've beaten Haman if he had taken into
account that funnels can be controlled and attack even after shoot off from
the MS), he left without a word. In Char's Counterattack, he decided to drop a
colony on Earth to get rid of those Earth officials who don't know how to take
care of the planet. He gave the Federation the Psycho Frame technology because
he felt that defeating Amuro with its technological advantage isn't fair (I
guess he doesn't want to beat Amuro and then give Amuro a perfect excuse as to
why Amuro lost).
Game comment - by the time you get him, it's already the last episode, so you
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
cannot really do anything with Char, but still, he still has the highest skill
level among your team, so he is definitely useful, since all Newtypes are
pretty useful. His close range attack is almost the highest among mobile suit
pilots.

help any female Enhanced Human/Newtype that he came across, including Sara and

Gundam fans argue that it was the side effect of using bio sensor, a late
addition to Zeta Gundam that has a similar function to Psychomu (translate the
Newpower "powers"), and he acted like a zombie most of the time after that. He
seems to have recovered during the last episode of ZZ Gundam (he only served
to be a guest in the series).
Game comment - Since he got Zeta Gundam from the time you get him, his level
should be pretty high. For those people who put Amuro in Zeta Gundam, you
still want to keep up his level, since he can move twice at level 31 and he
does have Spirit. His stats is only behind Amuro and Char, the aces of

Anime comment - Henken is not a bad captain in the series, but he is not as
good as Bright, since he doesn't have the experience that Bright does (The
original White Base crew was known for walking into heavy battles without
major losses). Henken is madly in love with Emma, but he does not really know
how to show his love to her, and she didn't respond because she doesn't really
know how to respond. I think he might have finally gotten in her heart when he
died to save her from Yazan... But that's in the TV series, not in SRW setting,
so he might have a chance, after all...

= - Emma Sheen - Emma
Series: Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
Pilot of Gundam Mk-II
Anime comment - She is perhaps one of the favorite secondary characters in all
times. I like her, as she is the one who is at least trying to keep Camille in
control. She still cannot handle love very well, as she still don't know what
to do with the gifts from a certain captain... In Zeta Gundam, she used to be
in Titans organization, but join AEUG after seeing what Titan did in order to
get what they wanted (at first, she just cannot stand the method they used to
get the Gundam Mk-II back. After she knows about how Titans use gas to kill a
whole colony of people, she changed her mind). Acted like Camille's sister and
helped him to become a better pilot. She and Reccoa are good friends, and she
never really understand why Reccoa switched side. She and Reccoa had a one-onone duel near the end of Zeta, with Emma being able to defeat Reccoa. However,
she was injured when Yazzan caused an explosion near Emma (Emma was out of the
cockpit at the time). She "gave up" her life to Camille after she noticed that
Zeta Gundam can "absorb" people's life force to do many things (many Gundam
fans believe that Emma is wrong about that - they felt that it was Camille's
Newtype power that make those things happen).
Game comment - Emma is not a bad pilot, and she does have Great Effort.

Anime comment - She is probably one of the weakest main characters of all

decent test pilot in such a short notice. But since she is forced to fight, I
don't blame her for getting NT-1 destroyed before it reaches Amuro's hands...
In 0080, she used to babysit Al, the kid who befriended Bernie, and through

Anime Comment - My favorite Gundam female character is here! The story of Four
is a tragedy. She doesn't remember a thing about her past, including her own
name since her brain is being used as an experiment for Enhanced Human. She is
named Four Murasame because the man responsible for the project is Doctor
Murasame and since she was the fourth object, she is named Four. She keeps on
being a pilot because she wants her memory back, even though she knew that the
chance of getting her memory back is slim. Falls in love with Camille when she
met him in Hong Kong during her little escape from Titans. She has almost
gotten herself killed when she helped Camille get back to space the first
time. She was brainwashed the second time when Camille go to Earth, but
recover her memory when she felt him sneaking into Titan's base. She was
killed when she block an attack intended for Camille from Jerid.
Game Comment - Her stats is ok, but she is definitely not in the same classes

Anime Comment - She was trained by Gremmi to be a Jion Newtype pilot, but she

to Judo. She finally met Judo in person during his persuit of Lina in Axis.
After a couple of combat and another brainwashing by Gremmi, she is reunited

successful. She was killed by Puru Two in her damaged Quebeley Mk-II since she

= - Zechs Merquise - Zechs
Pilot of Tallgeese
Anime comment - Even though he is mainly considered the villain of the show,
his intention is good - he wants to show the world a war that is so bad that
people won't consider fighting a war anymore. He did fail, since there's at
least one more war before people stopped. He is actually Relena's brother, the
rightful King of Sand Kingdom(?), but decide to leave it to Relena since he
think his hands arefilled with blood, therefore cannot fully represent the
absolute peace that Sand Kingdom represent. He also love to fight Hiro, whom
he consider to be as good as he is. Most UC Gundam fans consider him as a
"Char wannabe", including me...
Game comment - I did never use him, since all those people that actually
watched the show knows that Zechs might leave your team sooner or later as
your enemy (since we saw that Gundam Epyon is in the game from the karaoke
mode, and it appears in the enemy's side, which suggest that you might fight
it during the course of the game, and it's mainly piloted by Zech throughout
the course of the anime), so I strongly suggest you to leave him alone...

Anime comment - The ultra cool main character from Gundam W is back, and he is
as cool as ever (just ask Duo, who has been trying to start an interesting
conversation with him for quite a while both in the game and in the series).
The only person who seems to be able to get any emotion from him is Relena.
After all, she's the one who keeps on being nice to him even though it is
pretty clear that Hiro will kill her (I think most Gundam fans would remember
when Hiro said "I will kill you" to Relena. Hiro is the only pilot out of the
five Gundam pilot who seems to control the Zero System of Wing Gundam Zero
without too much trouble (although people have pointed out that Wufei doesn't
seem to have too much trouble with it). Maybe it's because he doesn't have too
many emotions to begin with, or as Duo points out, "He (Hiro) is not a normal
human being..." Even in Endless Waltz, basically the "ending" to the whole
Gundam Wing series, Hiro never really ends up with Relena (both OVA version
and movie version).
Game Comment - Other than dodging, all of his stats are pretty high,
especially among Gundam W pilots. With Wing Gundam and Wing Zero's rifle's
power and Hiro's Spirit, you can do some serious damage...

as he is always trying to stay happy. And he's very talkative, as we can see
by the fact that he is trying to start an interesting conversation with Hiro,
who rarely talks unless it is absolutely necessary. He likes to call himself
the Death God. Maybe part of the reason for being so happy is because he is
the only one in the Gundam W series to have a steady girlfriend (or at least a
love interest)...
Game Comment - He has one of the highest dodging stats among Gundam W pilots,
so you know that you can dodge a few attack with him. His attack is not too
low, but it's not high enough to do enough damages to bosses, so he's another
secondary attack pilot.

Pilots:
= - Domon Kasshu
Pilot of: Shining Gundam, God Gundam
Anime comment - The hero from the not-so-popular Gundam series is here, along
with his girlfriend. Domon is not very friendly to other people, mainly
because of what happen with his brother, Kyouji. Kyouji stole Devil Gundam,
and his mother was killed trying to protect Kyouji. Kyouji didn't even seem to
notice, as he leave in the Devil Gundam. His father was sentenced to be
freezed for creating and letting Devil Gundam get away. With all these due to
the fault of Kyouji, Domon take destroying Devil Gundam as his primary
responsiblity. The only person who seems to able to effect Domon at all is
Rain, his "girlfriend" and the one who keep on repairing his Shining Gundam
(and later, God Gundam). He treated Rain like nobody in the beginning because
he thought they would be together after he won the Gundam Fight (and defeat
Devil Gundam), so he better be serious to "business" first. His long speech at
the end of the series to convince Rain that he loves her has to be a milestone
for a Gundam hero - that the Gundam hero actually "proposes" to his lover!
Game comment - In this game, Domon doesn't dodge very well, but his close
range combat skill is extremely high. It's so sad that he has Concentrate so
late because it's pretty hard to hit the bosses without it. You cannot go

Pilot of: Shining Gundam (when Domon is unable to pilot

Anime comment - Probably the sexiest Gundam character ever in a Gundam series
(she wear an ultra short skirt all the time! Not to mention the fact that she
doesn't really wear anything in the last three episodes of G Gundam!), and she
is really in love with Domon. Her father is the inventor who created Shining
Gundam, God Gundam and Rising Gundam. She plays the supportive girlfriend type
for Domon in the beginning, but when Devil Gundam appears during the last
round of Gundam Fight, she pilots Rising Gundam and defeat Allenbi, who was
controlled by Wong, hoping to help Domon. After rescuing Allenbi, Rain left
Domon because her father is the one who betray Domon's father, getting his
mother killed in the process (he tell the military about Devil Gundam). She
even helped her father in lying to Domon so he would fight harder to win the
Gundam Fight. Since Rain believe Allenbi is the one Domon loves and that she
is partly responsible for Domon's suffering, she left and then she was used as
the pilot of Devil Gundam. After the confession of love from Domon, she break

Game comment - You can only use her in episode 27(26). She does have pretty
useful support magic, but she will leave after join you for a while in SRWFF.
Note: To those of you who are wondering why in the world is she moaning in
pain(?) when she is putting on her battle suit to pilot Shining Gundam in
episode 27(26), the reason is because in order to pilot a MF with efficiency,
the pilot has to "go through" a soft, plastic-like sheet, which will stick to
the pilot's skin to form the battle suit. Since Rain is not a real MF pilot,
she doesn't have the strength to go through the procedure without a lot of
effort, which is why she moans so loud. Many ecchi anime fans (including
myself) wish they include the original anime scene, which show off her body
quite nicely (as you can imagine, you won't get to see too many "interesting"
body parts...). Rain-sama...

Anime comment - He is the hero of the show, although he does
not seems to be the best pilot in the show. He has a score

He might look a little feminine, but he seems to extremely
attractive to girls, although he seems to be the faithful, loyal

(to me he seems to be "dragging" them on in order to help him in

really admire this guy's determination, I mean how many guys out there

Anime comment - Perhaps the ace on the "good" side since the rest of them
seems to be always just stand around when Shou went off against the ace of the

it because she seems more interested in Nee. His aura is extremely high, as it
is obvious since Shou is able to hold against enemy's superior aura battler
with a not-so-advance Billvine... He was summoned to Byston Well while he was
racing in a motorcycle, because of his high aura. Doesn't really know what to
do there at first, but after meeting Cham and Marvel, decide to fight for the
"good" side. Your typical hero through the series, and even manage to rescue

EVA. In the TV series, there are only five children. In SRWF, only the first
three made an appearance.
- Shinji Ikari - Shinji
Pilot of: EVA unit 1
Anime comment - Probably the most unlikely hero of all anime show is here!
He is neither brave nor very skillful, and the only reason why he seems
to be able to pilot EVA unit 1 so well is because both of his parents are
heavily involved in the EVA project. His father, Gendou Ikari, treat him
coldly, and his mother, Yui Ikari, disappeared when they are testing the S3
engine. Interestingly enough, the same S3 engine is installed in EVA unit 1,
maybe that's why he pilot this EVA so well... He is "interested" in Rei the
first time he met her, because she remind him of his mother (EVA fans should
all know why by now). As for Asuka, maybe she is the only one who seems to be
able to draw any backbone out of him, other than Rei.Treat Misato like a
mother, older sister, and maybe lover (according to End of Evangelion). He is
the Third Children. Just wish he has a backbone...
Game comment - Out of the three Children, his synchronize rate growth is the
highest, even though he started in the middle among the three Children. Since
EVAs are extremely useful in episodes with Guest bosses, since EVAs can be
used as shields, Shinji's advancement in levels should be fine...

G - Getta Robot G
Story Background:
In Getta Robot, Getta robot face Megasaurs kingdom, which located underground
to survive from extinction, leaded by King Gore. His attack robots (I think it
would be more convenient to call it battle beast) always have a dinasaurs
shape. More like organic beast attached with some machinery like armor or
weapons. King Gore goal was to defeat Getta robot and declare himself as the
earth ruler, because his Megasaurs kingdom was already exist on dinosaurs age,
many years before human appear.
At the end of Getta Robot, King Gore launch his final attack to the city. He
uses robos at once. Apparently Getta robot can't handle Gore's main robot, a
brontosaurs with heavy weapons, although its can destroy the other two. Getta
robot nearly destroyed after the battle, and so is the lab. The only way to
destroy Gore's main robot is to shot a big missile right into its mouth.
However the missile is to big to be carried by just one jet, so Getta team
must join the missile on the air and then shot it. But the missile is a
failure. Musashi cannot finish joining the missile. In the attempt to run
Getta robot lose its arm. Musashi feel guilty about it, so secretly he take
Michiru's jet and commit suicide by ramming the jet inside Gore's main robot's
mouth, killing both of them.
In Getta Robot G, Getta robo face Hyakki Empire, leaded by Emperor Burai. This
new enemy have similar intention, to take over the earth, but unlike King Gore,
Emperor Burai interested in Getta energy technology. Over the series he tries
to steal the technology, but always fail. Unlike underground kingdom, Hyakki
Empire's Robot is really a robot, but always have a horn on its head, like the
Hyakkis itself. (just like Voltes don't you think ?) This horn can be
transplanted to a normal human and making him a Hyakki agent. The horn can be
also hidden. In this way the Hyakkis agents can infiltrate Saotome's lab
undetected.
At the end of Getta Robot G, Musashi's place is taken over by Ben Kei. Prof.

Saotome create a new Getta robo and a new lab. Emperor Burai want to have the
Getta energy secret, so he tries many ways to infiltrate the lab, from
deploying his men army to sending spies. If in the first series, Getta face
three final enemy robots, now it must face 7 Hyakki robots at once. This is
when the 'Shine Sparkle' thing fail. When Getta robot fire this energy bolt,
the enemy robots disassamble themself so the Sparkle lose its target. But with
help of the armies, the enemy's power divided, so Getta robot can waste them
one by one. When the lab attacked, Getta robot already fire its Sparkle and
have only minimum energy. Refuelling attempt failed, and Michiru's jet crash
landed, but not damaged. Hayato force Michiru leave her jet, and then fly it
by himself. This action get enemy's attemtion, because they think the jet is
piloted by Michiru, so they capture the jet. Hayato is imprisoned in the
undersea base. (Yes, Hyakki main base is located under the sea) . Now Michiru
replacing Hayato's position on Getta 2. Derived by Hayato's death ( they think
Hayato is dead ) she's able to destroy two robots at once. After all robots
failed, Emperor Burai fly his undersea base directly to the lab. Even Getta
robot cannot stop the lab. Unfortunately for Burai, Hayato break out from
prison. He destroy the base main engine, and the explosion causing a hole at
the outer wall. Then he jump out into the sea, while Ryouma seeing the hole,
firing the Sparkle into it. That's the end of Hyakki Empire. They see Hayato
waving his hand at the surface, and rescue him.

Comment - All of the pilots of Lord of Elements are chosen by the very machine
they are going to pilot. Each pilot has one or more High Familiar, which are
animals that are made from part of the mind of the pilot that isn't used by
the pilot. These High Familiar can be used to control funnel-like High
Familiar weapons. There are only four real Lord of Elements, one of each for
Fire, Land, Water and Air. There are other robots based on Lord of Elemental,
but they aren't as good as these ones, except for Granzon, piloted by Masaki's
arch enemy.
= - Masaki Ando - Masaki

Anime Comment - Although it's not an anime (not yet), that's already a story
behind Masaki. He was chosen by Cybaster, and was trained to be the pilot. He
has two High Familiar, both in the forms of a cat. After the one who trained
him dies, he look after her daughter as if she is his own sister. He is your
typical hero, hot blooded and cannot act normally around beautiful women. He
has a bad sense of direction (Ryoga from Ranma 1/2 comes to mind). Ryuune,
the daughter of the the leader of the original DC, is madly in love with him,
but he doesn't seems to know how to respond to her...
Game Comment - His stats have undergone a dramatic change comparing it to his
stats in 4SRW. His long range attack stats is lower while his close range
attack stat is higher. His "magic" might seem just ok for a hero, but Cybaster
does have Cyflash...

Comment - Talk about your ultimate robot! , Ideon Sword, is good
enough when you first get Ideon, but it's not Ideon's best MAP weapon.
, Ideon Gun, is its best MAP weapon since it can hit more targets
than Ideon Sword. However, in order to use Ideon Gun, you would have to get
the Ideon Gauge to level 4. However, if you reaches this stage, sometimes the
Ide force will control the robot, so Ideon will be control by the computer and
it would use Ideon Gun and Ideon Sword (depending on the morale), trying to
hit anything, including your own team! Talk about a double-edged sword!

For the third stage, you would also see a outline inside the guage. The third
stage is where you start the episode with for Ideon. For the fourth stage, you
will also see a vertical line in the middle. As for the fifth stage, you will
see two additional vertical line in the guage, and you can also use Ideon
Sword, assuming your morale is high enough. For the sixth stage, you will see
a line across from the top left vertical line to the bottom of the right
vertical line. In this stage, the EN of Ideon will goes to infinite, and you
can use Ideon Gun. However, in this stage, it is also possible to go berserk,
assuming if you let the guage goes too high (refer to the chart below). Once
Ideon is berserk, you cannot control it, Ideon will be controlled by Ide and
its morale will be 150. The seven stage is when the guage is flashing, and if
you reaches this stage, the game is over since you have reach the Ideon ending

Comment - This is pretty easy, since the goal is to get to the switch in the
upper left room. If you put Shou in Billvine, and finish the episode in its
Wing Carrier form, you can get another Billvine (painted version) if Shou's
level is 48 or more and you pick the first choice after Cham asked you whether
to paint Billvine. The other Billvine won't have any upgrades. You will still
get the painted version of Billvine if Shou's level is 48 or higher and you
pick the first choice. All the upgrades will be in that Billvine (since it's
basically Shou's old Billvine with new paint). Remember, however, that this
bug only applies to the Saturn version, as the PS version "fixed" this bug...

Dancougar, Mazinger and Great Mazinger team, Daitan3 and G Gundam team.
If you go to space, you get to see Gunbuster's launch movie, get a chance to
convince Rosamia to join, assuming Four is already in your team (Rosamia will

Asia will retreat then rejoin you near the end of the game. Otherwise, you

3) If you put Bernie in the square (10, 47) {keep in mind that the upper left

Comment: This episode is probably the only tough episode in the Space road, so
you better prepair yourself. The original enemies are not pushovers, so if you

This episode can be divided into three parts, or you can finish this episode
quickly, assuming you know which colony is the colony laser (point C). Before
you start, you can choose to:
- split up your forces
- Search each point as a team
If you decided to split up, most of your aces (well known pilots) will be
divided into three teams, so it is a little harder to kill all enemies.
Personally speaking, I would rather go as a team. After each part, all your
pilots will recover their SP, their morale will reset, but HP won't be
recovered. You have 15 turns total to get to the right colony.

Comment: Use your Exhaust carefully, since the bosses' armor is pretty tough.
Since there are two enemies that will use Magic if you kill just one of them,
use MAP to finish two of them at the same time. The Full Flat event is pretty
useless unless you want to watch the storyline.

greater than your own team, she will recover all her SP.
Comment: It is pretty interesting to see Noriko learning Super Guts, but too
bad you don't get to keep it. Since the enemies will disappear after the boss
is killed, try to kill as many units as you can before trying to kill the boss.
After the episode ends, the Ideon team will ask for permission to stay on

After you upgrade all weapons, you will get a MAP weapon, , Fire All
Shots. It will use up all your ammo, but it does pretty good damage...
11) Wing Gundam Zero and Wing Zero Custom - Twin Buster Beam Rifle
This will create another Twin Buster Beam Rifle, it's another MAP weapon (a
number 2 will come after the name). Its range is 4 squares around itself. Not
too useful, if you ask me, since it uses ammo and EN...
9) Hard to get robots, pilots (include a list of pilots that can be convinced
to join your team), and other goodies.
This is basically the section to read if you have trouble to get a 100% in
character guide and robot encyclopedia. I still didn't get 100% yet, but it
would sure be closer to 100%.
Note: I will list the episode numbers if I have included it in my episode
guide. Otherwise, I would just list the episode title in Japanese.
Sayla Maas - Move Amuro in the square (14, 30) {keep in mind that the upper
left hand corner is (0,0)} in episode 49(50) if the total turn number is less
than 435 (counting the turns in this episode).
Todd - Convinced him in SRWF. Use Marvel, then Shou to convince him in episode
47(48). Convinced him again in episode 51(52) using Shou. Finally, in episode
54(55), "Sunset at Boston", have Todd survive when you clear the episode.
Dunbine(Todd Version) - Have Todd in the MAP in the episode 59(60). If he
survives when you clear the episode, you will get the Dunbine.

Billvine (Painted Version) - Clear episode 57(58) with Shou's level being 48
or higher. This one will replace your own Billvine (with very upgrade). If you
clear episode 57(58) with Billvine in its "bug" form (Wing Carrier), you will
get the painted version while keeping your old Billvine. This new Billvine
won't have any upgrades while your old Billvine will still keep all the
upgrades. (The two Billvine can only happens in the Saturn version)
Quatre - Convinced him using Amuro or Camille in episode 37(38). Must also
convince Trowa and Hiro to join you (refer to their own section). After they
left, pick Guest-Posadal road (refer to episode guide). In episode 69(70),
keep Hiro, Trowa and Quatre alive until turn 8, then they will retreat. Hiro
and Quatre will then appear as reinforcement in the second part of the episode
71(72).
Hiro - Convinced him using Duo first, then Trowa in episode 47(48). After they
left, pick Guest-Posadal road (refer to episode guide). In episode 69(70),
keep Hiro, Trowa and Quatre alive until turn 8, then they will retreat. Hiro
and Quatre will then appear as reinforcement in the second part of the episode
71(72).
Trowa - Convinced him using Quatre in episode 46(47). After they left, pick
Guest-Posadal road (refer to episode guide). In episode 69(70), keep Hiro,
Trowa and Quatre alive until turn 8, then they will retreat. Trowa will appear
as reinforcement, along with Quess (she will join no matter what you do) in
episode 72(73). He will join you in his Gundam Heavy Arms Kai.
Duo - Convinced him using Quatre in episode 41(42). He will join you later
again if you pick Guest-Posadal road (refer to episode guide). He will also
join you in DC road episode 77(78).
Wing Zero Custom - You must get Hiro, Trowa and Quatre the second time. Then
after you clear episode 72(73), pick the first option when he asked you
whether to upgrade Wing Gundam Zero. You will get to use it in episode 75(76).
Asufi - Use Daba to convince her in DC road in episode 73(74) or in Posaydal
road in episode 70(71), with her HP at 100%.
Gablae - Pick DC road (refer to episode guide). In episode 69, use Daba to
attack -() 2 times. Then in episode 70(71), use Daba to
-() again (the unit must stay in one color during the
rescue). The units around that battleship will turn yellow if
()'s HP is between 70 and 31%. Daba will disappear until the
next turn. This act is basically for rescuing Olibee. Then in the second part
of the episode 71(72), after turn 5 and with ()'s HP less than
10%, Gablae will appear and kill him. He will join you then.

Camille
succeed
= - Full Flat - you cannot get her to join you, but you can make
her a NPC instead. First, you must use Amu to attack her in episode 66(67).
Then for Posaydal road, convince her using Daba or Amu in episode 71(72). Then
if () and her are still alive in turn 3, Full Flat will become
a NPC and attack () in episode 75(76). She will become an
enemy once again after (). As for DC road, convince her using
Daba or Amu in episode 69(70). Then if () and her are still
alive in turn 3, Full Flat will become a NPC and attack () in
episode 71(72). She will become an enemy once again after ()
is destroyed.
Haman - Use Char to convince her in episode 37(38) without attacking her. If
you didn't convince her in SRWF, you can then use Char to convince her again
in the next turn (without attacking her, of course). Pick DC road. Then in the
episode 72(73), use Char to convince her again, without attacking her (meaning
Char and Haman cannot be in any attack scenes, e.g., Haman cannot attack Char
either). Then kill () and (). Haman will retreat,
and Char will then chase her and then finally capture her. She will become
available as a pilot in episode 76(77). You don't have to kill ()
personally (the event that makes Gato joins you) in order for Haman to retreat.
You would know if you do it right by looking at whether Char returns or not
after the episode ends - if it work, Char would be back with Haman.
Gato - In the episode 72(73) in DC road, make sure:
1) Gato is alive
2) (), or Giren, must be alive
3) The guest bosses on the right side must be alive
4) (), Kishiria, must be aliveuntil you attack Giren and let
about 10000 HP remain. Then Giren will try to retreat and Kishiria will kill
him. Gato's unit's color will turn yellow. Kill him, and then he will join you
the episode 74(75).
GP02A - Pick DC road (refer to episode guide.) After you clear episode 72(73),
Judo will ask permission from Bright to go searching in Axis. Just pick the
first option and you would get GP02A.
Neue Ziel - Pick DC road (refer to episode guide.) After you clear episode
72(73), Judo will ask permission from Bright to go searching in Axis. Just
pick the second option and then pick the first one in the beginning of episode
73(74), then you would get Neue Ziel after you clear that episode.

Jung Freud - Put Mazinger Z(Kouji) on the road that lead to the closest base
(it's located a little down and to the right of your starting point) to
trigger an event in episode 42(43) (you would see Noriko talking to her friend
about seeing Mazinger Z. Pick space road. You will then see her during
Camille's date with Four or Fa. Then finish -() within
10 turns after Gunbuster appear in epiosde 65(66) in space road. She'll join
you around the middle of DC and Posaydal road.
Allenby - Pick earth road. Use Rain and Domon (the order doesn't matter) to
convince her in episode 60(61). Then in episode 64(65), use Rain to convince
her. Use Rain to kill her so Allenby would appear in B (it
doesn't seems necessary, but it's better safe than sorry. Use Rain to attack
her to trigger Rising arrow event. Then use Rain to destroy Allenby (you can
use other pilots to take off its HP). She will join you when you get back to
space.
Master Asia - Pick earth road. Then in episode 64(65), use Domon to attack
Devil Gundam first to trigger the Schwarb event. When Master Gundam appears,
use Domon to attack him twice, without killing him. Then he will join you
later if Domon's level is 49 or higher, around the time you fight the Guest
boss (you will get him in both DC road and Guest-Posadal road).
Char's Zaku - Pick space road. Then in the episode 63(64), leave Bernie in the
square (10, 47) {keep in mind that the upper left hand corner is (0,0)} when
you clear the episode.
I know there's more. Anybody? (I don't bother including the Guest bosses's NPC
stuff since it's relatively easy to do and they don't matter much. Besides,
you don't even need to use the command convince ^_^)
How to get S2 engine for EVA Unit 1:
1) Pick earth in the episode 60(61).
2) Let the 14th Angel kill EVA Unit 1 in episode 63(64) (either path - Earth
or EVA ending).
In order to get Domon and Master Asia's Sekihatenkyouken movie, you must get
Master Asia on your team. Then you must let Domon be alive in the last episode,
either 78(79) for DC road, or the second part of episode 77(78) in Posaydal
road. Then take off about half of Devil Gundam's HP (final form for DC road),
then you will see the movie.
In order to get Domon and Rain's Sekihatenkyouken movie, just let Domon stay
alive in the last episode, either, episode 78(79) for DC road, or the second
part of episode 77(78) in Posaydal road. Then take off about half of Devil
Gundam's HP, then you will see the movie.

In order to get Kaoru and Shinji's movie (the EVA ending or bad ending):
1) You must NOT convince Quatre to join.
2) Have EVA gone berserk more than 5 times by the time you reaches episode 62
or so (only those in SRWFF counts)
3) Pick Earth on the episode 60(61).
4) Shinji's synchronize rate must be higher than Rei in episode 62 5) Rei must
be still alive when Shinji fire its MAP weapon during the fight with the 5th
Angel in episode 62(63)
Also, in order to avoid the Shinji's growing up event, which will prevent you
from getting the EVA ending, you MUST NOT do one of the following:
1) Let Four get kidnapped.
2) Do not use Shinji in episode 59(60)
If you do the two above steps, you will trigger the event (it happen right
before episode 59(60) starts).
It is possible for your team member's attack power to increase, if your
attacking team member to close (next to?) his/her lover.
Here are some examples:
Judo - Roux
Rain - Domon
Shou - Marvel
Bernie - Chris
There are at least one events that is taken straight from various anime series.
If you use Camille to kill Scirocco (-O()) in the first part of the
episode 71(72) with Fa on the MAP, he would "lose his mind", just like the
anime series. You will lose him, Fa, his MS and Fa's MS. You can prevent it if
you have used Camille to kill her in episode 58(59) (assuming you let her get
captured by taking more than 8 turns in destroying -() in
episode 50(51)) or let her die in episode 63(64) in space road. Four will
protect Camille against the attack.
9a) Dream Trick
This has to be one of the best trick in the game. In order to do it, first you
must:
1) Have at least one pilot with Dream
2) Have at least one unit that has more than one pilot (Dancougar, Super
Gundam, L-Gaim with Lilis, etc.)
To do it:
1) Use Dream.
2) Right after you choose Dream, then pick on the unit that has more than one
pilot.
3) Press Cancel twice.
Convertido de w eb en PDF con http://www.htmlapdf.com!
4) Press L or R.
Now, the Magic list would be a randomly picked pilot. If that pilot is not in
the MAP (You didn't pick him/her in the beginning of the MAP), you can use
his/her magic without using any SP! However, some warning:
1( The magic used must be Magic that effect other pilots or units, like Rally,
Confuse, Exhaust, etc., not Magic that effect the caster, like Spirit, Miracle,
etc.
2) The combination (Dream user and the unit with more than one pilot) will
also effect what pilot will be picked. It means that if you use Masaki's Dream
on Dancougar, it will yield a different pilot if you have used Masaki's Dream
on Combattler V instead.
3) The pilot they most likely to be pick is usually from the list of pilots
that appear first in SRWF (basically the ones that appear earliest in SRWF has
the better chance of being picked). Which means that it would usually pick
Amuro, Emma, Bright, Chris, etc. if you're in Realistic Robot side or Kouji,
Boss, Getta team, etc. if you're in Super Robot side.
Once you figure out the proper combination, just keep on doing it. I used
Rally all the time and it works like a charm. My team always starts with 150
morale. It's even better if I am in Super Robot side, since I can also use
Exhaust!
10) Acknowledgement (in the order I have thanked them in my previous version
of my SRWF FAQ. If a name appears in the bottom of the list doesn't mean he
helped me any less - it's just that he had helped me much later in my FAQ
writing cycle)
First of all, people or sites that helped me write the FAQ or provide
information to help me write the FAQ:
1) The Gundam Project (http://gundam.anime.net/), since I got most of the
translation of Gundam related material from there.
2) Phillip L Yee(philyee@value.net), who helped me translate some material for
my 4SRW FAQ (I reuse a lot of stuff from my old FAQ).
3) Marcos Wahjudy for translation of some of the names (I use the translation
from my NSRW FAQ).
4) I also use several issues of Denki Saturn magazine for most of my
information, not to mention the guide from Sega magazine.
5) AnImE HuNtEr ArGa, http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Flats/2731/, for
providing the background story for some of the Super Robots that appear in
SRWF.
6) Dommy E. Hamid <d-e-x@mail.utexas.edu> for helping me find some of my
errors (like translating High Familiar into Hyper Media).
7) Walid Neaz <wneaz@rocketmail.com> for providing me with background
information on some Super Robot pilots.
8) David Smith <smitd@ils.unc.edu> for providing the correct romanji for some

of the items.
9) Guyver and his site The Anime Depot (http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/8384/)
for providing background information for Daitan3.
10) WooJin Lee for proofreading this version of my FAQ so I can finally
release the completely done FAQ in a relatively clean state.
Second of all, copyright information:
All of the pilot names, series and robots belong to their respective owner,
like Gainax and Bandai (Not just these two). Lastly, if you want to put this
FAQ on your archive or site, just tell me first (so I had an idea who has it
and I can judge how well received my FAQ is), as I don't mind sharing it with
other people. If you want to use some of my stuff on my FAQ, please tell me
first before doing it, because I put a lot of work into it and I don't want
people just use my work without telling me about it first.
