=is the process of recruitment, selection of employee


providing proper orientation and induction providing proper
training and the developing skills,
assessment of employee providing proper compensation and
benefits.
2. The only resource which can have an output greater than the
sum of its parts is the human resource.
=Human resource management seeks to build and
reinforce their commitment for best organizational outcomes.for
utilizing the resources of the organization is optimal way so that
hard-to-imitate competencies can be generated for achieving
striving in its endeavors towards maintaining equilibrium and of
which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

3. Trace the history of human resources management in the


Philippines and characterized each part.
=Human resources management in the Philippines began in
the early 1900speople and organization gives due importance
to organizational structure and the role of people in it.
Characteristics that enable human resources managers to strike
a balance between being professional yet approachable because
they have a responsibility to support the entire workforce.
Expertise- communication- Integrity and Leadership.
4. Discuss the relationship between resources planning and
recruitment.
= In order to manage the human resources it is very
important that right quality and quantity of human resources are
engaged as per business needs. Human resources organization
gets right people at the right time and right place.

Likewise in the recruitment because this is the process of finding


and hiring the best- qualified candidate for a job opening in a
timely and cost.

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of nepotism in


hiring employees?
= Some of the advantages of nepotism when hiring
employees include the fact that you are hiring someone that you
can know well, and someone that you can hopefully trust .While
the disadvantages include that it can be difficult to reprimand or
find someone you are close to.

6. State and defend your position on:


a. Physical working condition = this refers to the
surroundings within which somebody works, taking into account
aspects such as temperature, air quality, safety cleanliness.
b. Managements meeting their needs = this means
that if the company or organization you are worked with gives all
your needs or demands in order to work effectively and efficiently.
c. Pay system = any system used to settle financial
transactions through the transfer of monetary value and includes
the institutions, instruments, people rules, procedures, standards,
and technologies that makes an exchange possible.
c. Personal and performance evaluation = is to
provide
an
opportunity
for
open
communication.the
expectations of their employer and to improve their own
performance for personal satisfaction.
7. Test often do not reflect an individuals true ability.
= The statement is wrongMost test do reflect an
individuals ability. Some test being poorly designed, reflect
nothing. Other tests are deliberately designed to cause failure
such as the literacy test.

8. One who does good work but seldom reports to work is not
given good remarks in performance appraisal.

= This kind of worker is not entitled to have a good


remarks in performance appraisal because he/she is not really
dedicated with his/her work. A good worker reports every day
and should be on time.

10. What is your honest to goodness assessment of your


professor?
= I just enrolled my masterals degree here at St, Marys
College last summer 2015, and of all the professors Ive met ,Ms.
Leonida D. Sison was so different from them. Ms. Sison is an
smart professor, she explains very well our lesson/topic for us to
understandMs. Sison always at her killer smile that make our
day a good day ahead. She is so much approachable and
understanding to us especially we from Abra because sometimes
we can not attend our subject to her because of some
unavoidable circumstances.
