CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT

This employment contract is made on the 11th day of December, 2015 between Stevin Rock LLC, Ras Al
Khaimah (Hereinafter referred to as the "EMPLOYER") and Mr. A.Baranitharan. (Hereinafter referred to
as the "EMPLOYEE").
WHEREAS the Employer is interested in the services of the Employee, now therefore both parties have
agreed as follows:
1. Service
1.1 Employer hereby engages the Employee on the basis of Single Status in the capacity of
Shift Engineer. Employee agrees to serve the Employer in the above capacity or in any other
capacity as the Employer may, from time to time, requires. The Employee will be based at the
Employers Khor Khuwair Quarry, in Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), but will cover all operational sites as
and when required.
1.2 The Employee will devote full time, attention, and energies to the company/business of the
Employer, and, during this employment, will not engage in any other business activity, regardless of
whether such activity is pursued for profit, gain, or other pecuniary advantage.
1.3 Employee shall abide by all laws of the UAE, including but not limited to, UAE Federal Law No. 8 of
1980, as amended (the "Labour Law") and in particular, any and all regulations relating to health
and safety under the Labor Law or any other relevant decree.
1.4

The Employee attaches great importance to the observance of all statutory and regulatory
provisions and requirements in the UAE and compliance with all of the Employer's policies and
procedures (as amended from time-to-time) and the Employee undertakes to comply with all such
policies and procedures, including but not limited to, the health and safety policies of the Employer
and the Employer further agrees to undergo any relevant training provided by the Employer in that
regard.

1.5 The Employee hereby acknowledges that he has received and reviewed the Stevin Rock LLC Health
and Safety Manual which manual forms part of this employment contract.
2. Visa status
This employment contract is subject to successful processing/transfer of the Employees visa and
to attestation of the Employees educational/vocational qualifications in accordance with UAE law.
3. Salary
UAE Dirhams 6,500.00 (Six Thousand Five Hundred Only) per month. The salary is deemed to be
inclusive of overtime and is normally reviewed on 1st January each year.

4. Probationary Period
There will be a probationary period of 6 (six) months from starting date.
5. Bonus
A performance-based bonus will be paid at the discretion of management each year, subject to
individual performance and the Employers profits.
6. End of Service Indemnity
This will be accrued in accordance with the Labour Law. It will paid out upon the end of the
Employees service on the basis of the Employees last salary, and in accordance with the terms and
conditions of the Labour Law.
7. Leave
30 paid leave days each year. After successful completion of each full 12-month period of service,
the Employer will meet the full cost of an economy class air ticket to the Employees country of origin.
Unused tickets will not be exchanged for cash.
8. Start Date
To be agreed.
9. Accommodation
The Employer will pay an allowance of AED.1,500.00 per month for towards the cost of rented
accommodation for bachelor status and AED.1,800.00 per month if accompanied by family.
10. Medical
The Employer will provide the Employee with a UAE Medical Card for use in Government
hospitals.
11. Working Hours
The Employees working hours will be 07:30 to 17:00 hours daily, inclusive of a half hour lunch
break, Saturday to Thursday. Fridays and Public Holidays are worked if required by management.
Periods of time worked out with normal scheduled hours are deemed to be included in the salary, and
overtime payments are not applicable. These conditions may be amended at the discretion of the
Employer.
12. Contract Period
This is a fixed contract of 1-year(s) duration. Thereafter, it will become an unlimited contract, with a
notice period of one month, should both parties wish to continue. In case the Employee terminates the
employment before two (2) years of his service are completed, the Employee will pay a penalty amount
equivalent to the Employees remaining (1) year salary to the Employer in addition to any other condition
imposed by the Employer. Moreover, you will be banned entry into UAE for One Year.

13. Confidentiality
The Employee shall be bound during, as well as after the termination of this employment contract, to
keep confidential all data concerning the Employers organisation, operations, equipment, and
procedures, which the Employee knows, or should know, to be of confidential nature. This information, if
received by an organisation in direct or indirect competition to the Employer, could render valuable
information to such an organisation, giving an unfair advantage, and the loss of potential revenue and as
such the Employer reserves the right to prosecute the Employee accordingly.
14. Other Condition
After the expiry of this employment contract, and for a period of two (2) years, the Employee shall
not be employed by any quarrying and/or crushing business or competing to that conducted by the
Employer with in UAE.
This employment contract is subject to receipt of the Employees satisfactory references and
medical examination.
Any and all other terms and conditions not mentioned in this employment contract will be as per
the Labour Law.
