2. Vacancy

3. NABM(P) has been receiving representations from
various staff members regarding
carry forward of
backlog vacancies to the current year's vacancies for
conducting single department competitive examination'
. Being Cadre Controlling Authority , approval of the
DG:AIR had been" sought vlde its. office letter No.
NABM(P)/23(4)/2015-DE
dated 30.08.2015 for adding
the backlog vacancies-to the current year vacancies
.Reply from DG:AIR has been given tqNABM.
4. NABM has tnformed that the Vacancies has been set
up only for the present vacancles. i.e. for 2011-12
onwards.

. CCS/CSSS in the Grade Pay of ~ 46Q0j-. .

Cadre Review Cornmlttee
as well' as 'Review
Committee had recommended to re-designate Sr.
Administrative Officer as Assistant Director with Grade
Pay of Rs. 5400/- . Administrative Officer with two
years' reqular service has been proposed to be eligible
for promotion to the post of Addltlonal- Director .
Prasar Bharati Board in its 128th meeting held on
07.09.2015
approved
slight modification
of the
recommendations of the Review Committee to. the
extent that employees'in the post of Administrative
Officers would be entitled for Grade Pay of Rs . 5400/after 4 years' of service incase they-are not already
promoted as Assistant Directors. ' .
Based on the approval accorded by Prasar Bharati
Board,a proposal was sent to MIB on -17.10.2015 for
amendment to AIR (Group 8 post) Recruitment Rules,
1962.

also
requested that the
recommendations of the Cadre Review Committee
may be sent to them . It has also been indicated that
since Department of Expenditure is the Nodal
Department for recommending the pay scales, any
change in pay scale can be made only after Prasar
Bharati submits its recommendations on the whole
Administrative C;adre based on the recommendations
of Review Committee. Ministry therefore, opined that
the proposed RRs for higher pay scales to
Administrative Officers cannot be processed at this
stage and can be processed only after the approval of
DoEto upgraded pay scale.
