Abad Tertib offers outstanding industrial painting services at exceptional prices. We

handle both large and small industrial painting projects, with work performed by
experienced, fully-trained painters. We have been painting facilities since 2007 and
understand the industrial painting process thoroughly and know what it takes to complete
a project properly, within budget, and on time. Let us put our years of experience and
expertise to work for you.

Types of Projects
Our wide range of interior and exterior industrial painting projects includes:

plants & manufacturing facilities

metal deck ceilings in factories

warehouses, storage facilities

industrial buildings & units

machinery, equipment

We prepare and refinish most industrial surfaces including:

ceilings, walls, floors

concrete floors, flooring

corrugated steel panels

epoxy floor coatings

siding, paneling, cladding

storage tanks & linings

metal, steel, galvanized

Methods & Equipment

Proper surface preparation is critical to the success and longevity of our projects.
Surfaces are first analyzed and then processed using the most appropriate methods
including: hot/cold power washing, steam cleaning, sandblasting, abrasion, chemical
treatments, and shot-blasting for concrete floors. Surrounding surfaces are protected and
masked off as needed, and our jobs sites left clean and organized.
Abad Tertib specializes in high-volume spray painting of high-performance coatings.
Spray painting offers the ultimate in speed, efficiency, and coverage quality, especially in
3D surface and difficult access situations. Conventional brush & roller techniques are
utilized when they are preferable and/or more efficient.
As professional industrial painters, we are capable of working in most industrial
situations, including high-rise exteriors and difficult access interiors. Our crews use a
wide range of aerial-lift platforms as needed to access almost any area in your facility,
and to complete jobs safely and properly.

Paint & Materials

We utilize a wide array of high quality industrial-grade paints and materials, matched to
the application and intended lifespan for maximum cost effectiveness. Our main objective
is to provide you with the best value possible, by providing a range of coating system
alternatives and the information you need to make an informed decision. The latestgeneration coatings we use include:

epoxies, multi-part epoxies

oil-based and latex paints

high-adhesion coatings for dirty environments

direct-to-rust coatings

specialty coatings

urethanes, polyurethanes

industrial enamels

dryfall paints

low-emissions coatings

non-slip coatings

Surface Preparation Sand Blasting,

Sandblasting & Abrasive Blasting

At Abad Tertib we specialize in sand blasting a wide range of items ranging from
structural steel, I-beams, trusses, equipment, fabricated steel structures, pressure
vessels, bulk storage tanks, silos, bridges, and many other commercial and
industrial items.

Sandblasting allows us to remove rust, mill scale, old coatings, and contamination
in preparation for a high performance coating. We abrasive blast (sandblast)
steel, iron, copper, brass, aluminum and glass. We can achieve profiles from 0.5
mils to 5 mils deep. We abrasive blast (sand blast) new or old materials, remove
rust, paints, stains and glues. We are able to offer all blasting levels from SSPCSP5 white metal blasting, to SSPC-SP7 brush-off blast cleaning, depending upon
the requirements of the client and the chosen paint coating system.

The different types of abrasive media than can be used includes: glass beads,
ground glass, aluminum oxide, black beauty slag, steel grit, steel shot, walnut
shells, and corn cob each having unique benefits and features.

Our coating systems range from alkyds, zinc-rich, epoxy, urethanes,

polyurethanes, polyureas and metalizing.

We have multiple 5-ton cranes and a large 20,000 sqft shop to accommodate a
wide variety of items. Our onsite mobile services allow us to blast and coat
existing buildings, bulk storage tanks, silos, metal siding, metal ceilings,
secondary containment areas, roofs, and pretty well any other items that can be
sand blasted and coated.

Surface Preparation Dry Ice Blasting, CO2

Blasting
Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide (CO2). With dry ice blasting, soft CO2 pellets
approximately the size of grains of sugar are propelled toward surfaces at supersonic
speeds to safely remove paint and contamination.

The dry ice, although hard in appearance, does not rely on its abrasive properties for
effective cleaning. When the dry ice pellets hit the surface, it causes a process called
thermo-shock. As the substrate temperature decreases, it becomes brittle, enabling the
dry ice particle to break up failed paint and surface contamination.
The beauty of it all is that the CO2 quickly dissipates into the gas carbon dioxide, so
there is very little blast residue to clean up only the failed paint film or removed
contamination.

Why is dry ice blasting beneficial over other cleaning methods?

non-abrasive, non-flammable, non-conductive cleaning method

environmentally-friendly and contains no secondary contaminants such as

solvents or grit media (most other blast media leaves secondary waste behind..
dry ice sublimates or vaporizes upon impact with the surface, and all that remains
is the paint coating or contaminate you are removing also, since dry ice
vaporizes up on impact, the process can be used to clean complicated cavities
where typical grit blast media will become trapped)

clean and approved for use in the food & pharmaceutical industry

approved by the FDA, EPA and USDA

allows most items to be cleaned in-place, without time consuming disassembly

can be used without damaging active electrical or mechanical parts, or creating

fire hazards

can be used to remove production residues, release agents, contaminants, paints,

oils and biofilms

can be adjusted to clean very delicate items without damaging the substrate

Abad Tertib has successfully used dry ice blasting for years and can safely and
effectively use it in your project with excellent results

Surface Preparation Pressure Washing,

Water Blasting & Ultra-High-Pressure
Washing
Pressure washing is the bare minimum of cleaning methods recommended for
preparation of exterior surfaces. Exterior paint will chalk overtime when exposed to the
sun, and this chalked film will break the bond of any future paint coatings applied over it.
It is important to remove all the chalked film prior to coating, or you will have a very short
life paint system, regardless of the quality or performance characteristics of the paint.

Normal pressure washing in the 2,400 to 4,000 psi range (pounds per square inch) will
remove the chalked film, and can also remove light surface corrosion in preparation of
applying a coating system.
Ultra-high-pressure washing can also be used to clean corroded areas and can
sometimes be used as an alternative to grit blasting. The results depends to a very large
extent on the condition of the surface. Compact corrosion scale cannot be completely
removed at a reasonable rate until pressures exceed 2100 kg/cm2 (30,000 psi).
Abad Tertib is a highly experienced and qualified high-pressure washing and power
washing contractor able to tackle projects of any size
