Communion Service at Holy Spirit: Starting on Monday,
March 1st and every Monday thereafter, Deacon McGinnis will
be having a Communion Service at Holy Spirit at 8:30 AM. If
there is interest at St. Anthony, he will be interested in having a
Friday Communion Service there at 8:00 AM. Let me know if

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for the evenings of
July 18-22, 2010. We are in need of adults that feel called to
assist with making this year’s “High Seas Expedition” a reality
for the children of our parishes. If you are interested in
volunteering in some capacity please phone Julie Frosch at

Catholic Cemetery News:
Please read the restrictions below to be certain you are
following our cemetery guidelines:
 No loose gravel may be placed on any lot, especially
around the monument or foot marker.
 No glass vases or urns may be placed on any grave or set
on any monument.
 Dredging around monuments and foot markers are not
permitted.
When not followed, the first two restrictions above create a
safety hazard. Small stones and pieces of broken glass can be
hurled through the air by the mower and cause injury to our
caretaker or anyone standing in the vicinity.
The third restriction creates an equipment hazard and causes
foot markers to sink.
Mandatory Retreat: Sunday, April 25, 2010 at St. Anthony
Catholic Church from 2-6 PM.
Confirmation Practice is Sunday, May 16, 2010 5 PM Holy
Spirit Catholic Church.
Principal Search: Fairmont Catholic Grade School,
established in 1927, is a Kindergarten through Eighth Grade
school located in Fairmont, West Virginia. Fairmont Catholic is
supported by the three Catholic Parishes of Fairmont, WV, and
is part of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. A Designated
Pastor is appointed by the Bishop to serve as Pastor of the
School.
We are seeking qualified candidates to interview for the
position of Principal for 2010-2011 school year. A qualified
candidate is a practicing Catholic; possesses a master’s degree
in educational administration or a related field; has three (3)
years Catholic School teaching and/or administrative
experience, preferably at the elementary level; is certified or
eligible for certification in the State of West Virginia; and is
committed to meeting the requirements of basic religious
education certification in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.

prayed 20 minutes before Mass Wednesday Evening and Thursday
