6And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she
said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto
her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7Then
she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the
oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the
rest.
5. Deliverance: Psalm 23:1-5, Isa 61:1-3
Psalms 23:1-5
1A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not
want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he
leadeth me beside the still waters. 3He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's
sake. 4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and
thy staf they comfort me. 5Thou preparest a table before
me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my
head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Isaiah 61:1-3
1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD
hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he
hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim
liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to
them that are bound; 2To proclaim the acceptable year of
the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort
all that mourn; 3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to
give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning,
the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they
might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the
LORD, that he might be glorified.
6. Blessing: Psalm 133:1-3
Psalms 133:1-3
1A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how
pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2It is
like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down
upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the
skirts of his garments; 3As the dew of Hermon, and as the
dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there
the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
