The SAFLOK LPI/ELPS device is more frequently used for programming and
interrogating locks. However, the device can also be used to open a lock that has a dead
internal battery. Typically a lock with a dead battery will not flash any lights after a
keycard is used. If a lock displays flashing lights after a keycard is used, please consult
your services manual for troubleshooting other conditions.
