Aim: To draw the Open Bearing shown in Drawing by using CATIA software.
Equipment: PC with CATIA software.
OPEN BEARING
Procedure :
Click on the CATIA icon, present on the desktop.
Go to File menu and click on New, a dialog box is opened. Select part
option from the list in the box.
Select the required plane yz.
Select sketcher option from sketcher tool bar.
Create the following rough sketch using profile icon of profile tool bar.

Give the dimensions to the rough sketch as shown below, using constraint
icon of constraint tool bar.
Click on Exit workbench icon in the workbench tool bar to exit from
sketcher workbench to part design workbench.
Select Pad icon from sketched based features tool bar and give the length of

Select the plane on which holes to be created and select sketcher.
Draw two circles using circle command of profile tool bar and give the
dimensions as shown in the following figure by using constraint icon of
constraint tool bar.

Draw the following figure using profile tool bar and give the dimensions as
