Good Morning ladies and gentlemens. How are you today?

Its good
to see you here. My name is Dhyta Yuni Lestari. I am a
representative of unique restaurants association. I am here to inform
you about unique restaurant which could be important to you who
wants to build a new restaurant and still confused about the
concept. I hope my 20 minutes presentation could inspire you and
help you to find the concept of your restaurant. Allright, i would like
to divide my presentation into four parts, the first one is Dinner in
the Sky, and then Baggers, Disaster Cafe, Magic Restroom and
Nannys pavillon. After that I would be happy to answer your
questions.
Allright L&G, Lets begin with Dinner in the sky.
Dinner in the Sky is an exclusive V.I.P. hospitality experience. This
restaurant is very challenging for those people who dine at this
restaurant. The capacity is up to 22 people around the table plus
chef, waiter, and entertainer in the middle. The dining table and
seats are connected to a crane which then performs the lift.
(next) The center of the dining table has a walking platform that can
accommodate the staff. The customer can watch the chef produce
their meal at a preparation space in the centre of the table. It is like
an open kitchen. (next)
As you can see, this restaurant could be built anywhere in the world
as long as there is a free surface of 500 m. It is secure and the
session is upto 8 hours. And if you build this kind of restaurant, you
dont need to hire architect to design your walls, windows and so on.
You just simply have to lift your guests up into the air. And you only
have to choose the beautiful scenery to replace the walls design.
But.. What about entertain if we only could lift 22 customers up
along the chef and waiter and there is no space to customers
entertainment?! Dont worry, we have another table for musician,
for example, which can be lifted beside the table for customer.
Usually it is for special events. (next) Dinner in the sky is conducted
in 45 countries world wide, and Indonesia have not joined yet. So
this is the time for you maybe to join this company and if you are
interested, you can visit the official website or you can contact me
later. Allright thats all for Dinner in the sky. Ladies and
gentlemen lets move on to Baggers.
Baggers is a fast service restaurant located in Numberg Germany.
You may be confused of seeing long metal tracks crossing the dining

area. That metal tracks is a path like a roller coaster for the food
coming from kitchen above to the customers table. The tracks run
all the way from the kitchen, high up in the roof, down to the tables,
twisting and turning as they go, with the help from gravity. The foods
are placed in little pots with wheels fixed to the bottom.
There is no need to hire waiting staff here because the guest only
have to use touch screen tvs at each table which integrated with
kitchen to order the foods. On that touch screen tvs, customer can
browse the menu, and order the chosen menu.
Up in the kitchen, it is human, not machine, that makes the food.
They haven't found a way of automating the chef, just yet.
Everything is prepared from fresh. When it is ready, the meal is put
in a pot and given a sticker and a colour to match the customer's
seat.
Then it is put on the rails and despatched downhill to the correct
table. An automated meal doesn't only save the restaurant money,
but the customer, too. Because customer dont need to give a tip for
the waiting staff.
Now lets move on to Disaster cafe.
Ladies and gentleman, imagine that you are eating your
luch. Suddenly you feel everywhere is shaking. You find out
that earthquake is just happening. What would you do?
Running outside right?? Me too!
Well, If a 7.8 earthquake happened during lunch time, most of us
would forget about food and run for our lives, but at the Disaster
Caf, in Spain, quakes happen all the time, and all you can do is try
to keep your balance and hope drinks dont get spilled.
Normally, people are terrified of earthquakes, but at the Disaster
Caf, people actually pay to experience a simulated 7.8 quake while
they enjoy a tasty meal. according to online customer reviews, the
place is so popular, customer actually need to make reservations in
advance, in order to be get a table. I guess peoples appetite for
disaster is stronger than I thought.
From the outside, the Disaster Caf looks very ordinary and certainly
doesnt show any real warnings about what goes on inside. As
customer enter, they will realize the ground level is an alien-themed
restaurant for kids, decorated as a spaceship. During the weekends,
little ones can enjoy a show with wacky aliens and lots of fun
activities, but for the grown ups, the fun stuff happens below

ground. An elevator takes thrill-seeking customers to the depths of

the Earth, where theyre be seated in a restaurant which look like a
cave. The first thing customersll notice is the staff wearing
construction helmets and other safety equipment, then when the
food comes, customerll realize that, for some reason, dishes are a
lot heavier than normal.
Guest need to be standby at Disaster Caf, because they never
know when disaster strikes. In this cafe, its always in the form of a
simulated 7.8 earthquake that shakes the place up pretty good.
Lights start to go out, women begin screaming, chairs, tables and
pretty much everything in the room starts moving and theres
nothing you can do but wait it out and hope for the best. Unlike
during natural quakes of this magnitude, there are never any serious
injuries at Disaster Caf. In fact all the guest have to remember is
not to wear their finest outfit, because spilled drinks and food are
very common here. But dont worry, the heavy dishes will stop the
meal from flying off the table, but spilled drinks or food do happen
quite often.
Guest will be too scared to enjoy the food because they will wait for
the tremor, but the food at Disaster Caf is apparently pretty good
and customer throw in the unforgettable adrenalin rush, this place is
definitely worth a visit
Ladies and gentleman, Ive already told you about Dinner in
the sky baggers, and disaster cafe. Now lets move on to
Magic Restroom Restaurant.
This is another challanging restaurant in the world. The decoration is
look like an actual toilets, they even put showerheads and blue
mosaic bathroom tiles for the decoration. Usually, restaurants
atmosphere has the power to influence the taste of the food itself,
no matter how good or bad the cuisines are. But, this restaurant
provide unusual environment where customer tries to enjoy the
food. Imagine if you visit this restaurant, enjoying the food wouldnt
be easy, right? Even the foods are served in the tiny toilets. But, for
your information, the foods are actually delicious if you can ignore
the disguisting looks of the foods.
The owner YoYo Li inspired by a hit enterprise from Taipei, Modern
Toilet Restaurant, which has since expanded to other parts of
Taiwan and mainland. The only bathroom-themed restaurant in
America is located 20 miles east of downtown L.A.

And in the end, even if the food isn't to customers liking, at least
customers can still Instagram their eating adventure.
This restaurant closed after 8 months. Because the questionable
price and also the acceptance of LA to this unusual restaurant. I
guess people who came to this restaurant only came once because
of their curiousity. This restaurant is not comfortable place to eat. I
know it is not a good example for you to follow. But we can take how
this restaurant develop a concept out of the box. This is just for
inspiration only.
Not to build a toilet restaurant but another part of the house, for
example a bedroom or living room theme restaurant like Nannys
pavillon. Well ladies and gentlemen. Lets move on to Nannys
pavillon.
The restaurant was established since March 23rd 2009, Nannys
Pavillon first opened in Bandung, Indonesia. Nannys Pavillon is a
conceptual French American pancake restaurant.
The tradition of French American family is strongly followed by
Nannys Pavillon, therefore the routine reflects on warmth, cozy and
intimate ambiance.
These are the tone that convey in every outlet by portraying the
warmth atmosphere of a home, because the tagline is Youre Here,
Youre Family
Nannys Pavillon has a unique menu, comes from the tradition of a
family such as Nanny's Chicken Salad, Heavy Alvin's Potato, Ynez's
Blueberry Cheese Roll Pancake, Kimberly's Green Sausage Pasta,
Auntie's Sausage Baked Rice, or Ted's Tenderloin with Gravy Sauce.

The Nanny Anella Byron is the main character that inspires all of this
restaurants. She has lived with the family for quite some time. This
wonderful lady helps the family in their daily chores and has done an
amazing job at keeping everyones best interests at the fore.
As they do their daily chores in Nannys Pavillon, the staff always
think of theirself as the Nanny and their customers as the family

members. This has allowed them to do their best in serving their

customers and in making sure that customers feel like coming
home.

To be the foremost French American restaurant in Indonesia.

Create an enjoyable restaurant, where customers experience the
atmosphere of a unique traditional French America culture.
Serve customers with care, because customers are part of the
Nannys family.
Applied Nannys culture; encourage and support creativity to
achieve the quality of a better life.

Safety is our foremost priority.

Global platforms are designed according to the German DIN 4112
certification, globally regarded as one of the toughest safety
scertifications to obtain and produced in Belgium under control of
Rheinland TV.
The platforms are checked prior to each event and maintained to
ensure maximum safety for our clients and staff.
The restaurant is the brainchild of local businessman Michael Mack.
"I wanted to come up with a complete new restaurant system,"
Michael tells me, "one that would be more efficient and more
comfortable".
Replacing waiters with helter-skelters and computers is fun for the
customers. It also makes financial sense
for the restaurant.
A plate of food whizzes
"You can save labour costs," explains
down from the kitchen
restaurant spokesperson Kyra MuellerSiecheneder.
"You don't need the waiters to run to the customers, take the orders,
run to the kitchen and back to the guests."
The restaurant has not completely done away with the human
touch. There are still some staff on hand to explain to rather
bemused customers how to use the technology.

It's difficult to imagine why people would willingly eat at a place that
celebrates the act of expelling waste matter from the body, unless
it's to somehow straddle the taboo boundary between an acceptable
group experience and one that's traditionally private. It's safe to say
Magic Restroom Cafe definitely isn't for everyone. Even though the
taste of the food is actually good, it is possible that customer won't
notice that because theyll be too busy looking around (and, most
likely, being grossed out).
So while the focus probably won't be on the ingredients as much as
the restaurant's bathroom decorations, it's worth a visit because it
definitely provides an extreme dining experience.
