PleasebeawareofthefollowinglimitationswhenimportingtagsfromanOFSdatabase.
Foreachimportedtag,theVijeoCitecttagnamewillbethesameasthenameofthetagdefinedon
theOFSexcept.characterswillbereplacedby_characters.
UsingOFStagimporttoimporttagsfromanOFSdatabasemaynotsucceedonWindowsVistaif
UserAccountControl(UAC)isenabled.UACpreventsaccesstotheexternaldatabase.Ifimporting
viaOFSonWindowsVista,eitherturnoffUAC,orrightclickontheOFSandUnityProWindows
shortcutsandselectRunasAdministrator.
TogenerateAlarmandTrendtags,auniqueidentifiercanbesetintheCustomandCommentfield
forElementaryDataType(EDT)tags.Forexample,thestringVJAisusedtoidentifyatagthatthe
userwantstousetogenerateacorrespondingDigitalAlarmTag.OnlytheCommentfieldcanbe
usedforthisfeatureonDerivedDataTypes(DDT)andDerivedFunctionBlock(DFB)tags.
OFSbuiltintagsarenotimported.TheycanbeaddedinVijeoCitectmanually.
ThelengthofthecommentfieldintheVijeoCitecttagformislimitedto48chaacters.
VijeoCitectdoesnotsupportDDTorDFBstructuretypes.TheOFSimportwillenumerateeach
elementofthistypeoftagandimportthemaselementarytags.
OFStagimportisonlysupportedwhentheOFSlinkstothe.STUand.XVMfiles.
DFBcomponentsoftypeANY_ARRAY_xxxxarenotimportedwhentheOFSlinkstoa*.xvmfile.
Whenadatadictionaryisused,thedatadictionaryignorescommentandcustomfieldsandtherefore
taggencannotgeneratealarmandtrendtags.IfthereareDFBcomponentsoftype
ANY_ARRAY_xxxx,thewholeDFBisnotimported.
