My name is Anda Bordieanu and Im a student in my last year of high school at the National

College of Informatics Traian Lalescu Hunedoara, Romania.

Im an ambitious and perseverant girl and ever since my first year of high school I have been
involved in different projects and extracurricular activities for developing my abilities and
also my personality.
I started with biology and I joined the high schools team of skilled health. For two years I
have learned how to administer first aid in different situations, what team work means and the
most important is the fact that I have learned how to react calmly when I had to confront
difficult and under pressure cases. My hard work and also my teammates work done in this
team was rewarded when we had won the second place in the district competition of skilled
health organised by Red Cross Romania.
In the tenth grade I, together with some colleagues created a brochure for a contest called
Tolerance guide and that brought us the second place. Being a student thirsty for knowledge
I attended the physics circle run by a teacher from my high school and I together with other
kids created a Christmas light which lights up when it intercepts sound signals. It was not
easy, but with patient and with a little help from the physics teacher everything went out
smoothly.
Because I am sociable and an optimistic person, the optimism is what defines me from others,
I was really excited when I was given the chance to visit Hungary for a week in the project
Comenius. I met teenagers of different nationalities with whom I managed to form a bond
based on friendship, on exchange of intraculturale information , bond that last to this day.
I was and I am a trustworthy person, a person you can rely on and last but not least a person
that keeps her promises. Due to those qualities, my Romanian teacher asked me to play in a
drama and to write an essay for a contest. All the participants including me had received an
participation diploma but what made me proud was the fact that my essay was published in a
book.
Since childhood I was attracted to English language, starting with cartoons and continuing
with Session of scientific circles organized by the University Alma Mater Sibiu, in which
I presented a paper called Man and environment. Although I was the only gymnasium
student, the others where students of the university, my paper was at the academic level
required.I also participated at the essay competition Shakespeare School, I have played in
English dramas and this year together with a classmate I have created a drama for a
completion called Life of my sorrows.
I have discovered my tenacious and ambitious side of my personality and the power to go all
the way last year when I participated at the Scientific Session- Chemistry friend or enemy?
2014. Gruelling and laborious effort was rewarded when I won the first place on the national
stage. I understood that if you really want something and if you work hard enough you will
obtain expected results.
Like every teenager of our century I am attracted to everything that is called technology and
this year when we started to study database, I discovered my passion for informatics. The
satisfaction that I feel when I do a program that is good and functional strengthen my
conviction that my professional future is in IT.
I would like to study at your university because the program that you offer is perfect for me
and I feel that I will do the best of me in your University.

Ma numesc Anda Bordieanu si sunt studenta in ultimul an la Colegiul National de

Informatica Traian Lalescu Hunedoara, Romania.

Sunt o fire ambitioasa si perseverenta si inca din primul an de liceu m-am implicat in diferite
proiecte si activitati extrascolare pentru a-mi dezvolta abilitatile si personalitatea.
Am inceput cu biologia si m-am inscris in echipa de sanitari priceputi a liceului. Timp de
doi ani am invatat cum sa acord primul ajutor in diferite situatii, ce inseamna munca in echipa
si cel mai important este faptul ca am invatat cum sa reactionez cu calm in situatii sub
presiune. Munca mea si a celorlalte fete depusa in cadrul acestui echipaj a fost rasplatita cand
am castigat locul II pe judet la concursul Sanitarii priceputi organizat de Crucea Rosie
Romania.
In clasa a X-a, impreuna cu cateva college am creat o brosura pentru un concurs numit
Ghidul tolerantei cu care am luat premiul II. Fiind o eleva insetata de cunoastere am
participat la cercul de fizica al liceului si am creat o ghirlanda de Craciun care se aprinde
atunci cand intercepteaza semnale sonore. Nu a fost usor, dar cu rabdare si putin ajutor din
partea profesorului de fizica totul a iesit perfect.
Pentru ca sunt sociabila si optimista, optimismul fiind ceea ce ma deosebeste de ceilalti, am
fost extrem de incantata atunci cand in cadrul proiectului Comenius am vizitat Ungaria timp
de o saptamana. Asa am intalnit copii de diferite nationalitati cu care am reusit sa formez o
legatura bazata pe prietenie, pe schimb de informatii intraculturale, legatura care dainuie si in
prezent.
Am fost si sunt o persoana de incredere, o persoana pe care te poti baza si nu in ultimul rand
o persoana care isi respecta promisiunile. Datorita acestor calitati, doamna profesoara de
romana m-a rugat sa joc intr-o piesa de teatru si sa scriu un eseu pentru un concurs. Am
primit o diploma de participare, dar ceea ce m-a facut mandra este faptul ca eseul meu a fost
publicat intr-o carte.
Inca din copilarie am fost atrasa de limba engleza incepand cu desenele animate si continuand
cu Sesiunea de Comunicari a Cercurilor Stiintifice organizata de universitatea Alma
Mater Sibiu, in cadrul careia am prezentant lucrarea Man and Environment. Cu toate ca
am fost singura eleva, restul participantiilor fiind studenti ai facultatii, lucrarea mea a fost la
nivelul academic cerut. De asemenea am participat la concursul de esee Shakespeare
School, am jucat in piese de teatru in limba engleza si anul acesta impreuna cu un coleg am
scris o piesa de teatru pentru un concurs numita Life of my sorrows.
Mi-am descoperit latura tenace si ambitioasa a personalitatii si puterea de a merge pana la
capat cand am participat la Sesiunea de Comunicari Stiintifice Chimia prieten sau
dusman 2014. Efortul istovitor si laborios mi-a fost rasplatit cand am luat premiul I la etapa
nationala. Am inteles ca daca iti doresti cu adevarat ceva si daca muncesti indeajuns de mult
vei obtine rezultatele asteptate.
Ca orice tanar din secolul nostru sunt atrasa de tot ce se cheama tehnologie, iar anul acesta
cand am inceput sa studiem bazele de date am descoperit pasiunea mea pentru informatica.
Satisfactia, multumirea pe care le simt in momentul in care creez un program care este bun si
functional mi-a intarit convingerea ca viitorul meu profesional este in domeniul IT.
As vrea sa studiez la universitatea dumneavoastra pentru ca programul pe care il oferiti este
perfect pentru mine si simt ca in cadrul universitatii dumneavoastra voi da tot ce este mai bun
din mine.
