33
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 33 is a special diester synthetic compound with an exceptionally high
flashpoint. Additives include the unique "Megalite" family of supplements,
ensuring extreme temperature resistance up to 315C (600F) - and for short
periods of exposure, beyond. Special viscosity improvers using hybridic
polymers have been developed to extend the service life of this lubricant.
Omega 33 is a revolutionary lubricant in that it is potentially the first lubricant to
utilize the capillary system of film formation. This means that the lubricant
remains stable at all times - irregardless of temperature fluctuations, which has
been the major obstacle with all ordinary greases. The high temperature
resistance of Omega 33 is nearly double that of ordinary greases.
SPECIAL TEXTURE IMPROVERS:
Omega 33 consists of fine fibre texture improvers which come from a
breakaway substance called "carbonitic black". This ensures that the texture
remains static during severe temperature operations by encapsulation in an
unbreakable, impenetrable outer skin.
APPLICATIONS:
Omega 33 is primarily a high temperature-resistant lubricant engineered for
high temperature exposure conditions. Kilns and surface baking operations,
food processing, steam pumps, babbitt bearings, tooling equipment, foundry
machines and equipment, autoclaves, chemical processing, laboratory work,
surgical sterilization equipment - there is almost no extreme temperature
condition that Omega 33 cannot handle.
RELIABILITY:
Omega 33 stays in position after application. Its unique design causes it to form
an outer heat-resistant coating while the inner lubricant continues to perform
under extreme heat conditions.
EQUIPMENT LASTS LONGER:
Using Omega 33, high temperature equipment usually lasts considerably
longer, and runs for substantially longer periods without maintenance.

35
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 35 is a highly-specialized High Temperature Stable grease that has
been engineered to continue lubricating applied parts at temperatures where
ordinary greases "carbonize" and form abrasives that damage equipment. It
consists of a synthetic, non-ash base or "carrier" agent, into which a high
concentration of super-micronized, infinitesimal fine-mesh, lubricant-grade
Megalite Solid Lubricant (MSL) is suspended.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE:
Omega 35 features a highly unique lubricating principle. Its finely-balanced
proportion of synthetic carrier and micronized MSL gives it good penetration
power, good "spreadability" and enhanced lubricating qualities.
The synthetic is designed merely to be the "carrier" of the solid lubricant, to
enable the latter to be introduced into the part(s) to be lubricated. Once the
operating temperature increases to the volatilization range of the synthetic
"carrier", it flashes off and leaves the super-fine, Megalite Solid Lubricant (MSL)
in place. The MSL remains and continues to provide unparalleled anti-friction
lubrication performance to the applied parts.
IN-BUILT SUPERIORITY:
Omega 35's MSL provides many advantages over ordinary high temperature
solid lubricants, such as molybdenum disulphide (commonly called "moly").
Moly does have high temperature qualities in the region of 700C, but at such
temperatures oxidize to form hard, abrasive residues that can damage
equipment.
Omega 35 MSL's on the other hand, resist temperatures in excess of 2,000C
(3,600F), and even at temperatures in excess of 2,500C, the MSL simply
disinte-grates into harmless carbon dioxide, leaving no dangerous particles to
contami-nate, sear and scour expensive bearing and parts.

Omega 51 is a highly versatile grease that is ideally suited for use in all high
speed electric motors and bearings, including roller, needle, and practically all
other types of bearings.
EXTENSIVE RESEARCH:
Omega 51 is the result of complex dielectric lubricant research and is
formulated on the recently developed Anisthenic system for centrifugal stability.
Precise quantities of micronized cyanthropis suspended in synergistic fluids
ensure an unprecedented dimension in total surface and subsurface lubrication
protection.
HIGH-PURITY:
Omega 51 is a premier-purity lubricant and as such, should not be mixed with,
or come into contact with ordinary greases. Systems and parts should be
thoroughly flushed before using Omega 51.
ADDED ADHESIVENESS:
Omega 51 ensures a surface tenacity that no ordinary lubricant can provide.
Omega 51 will stay in position, even under washout conditions, thus ensuring
long production runs under cooler and more protective conditions.
PREVENTION OF WEAR AND LONGER EQUIPMENT LIFE:
Omega 51 ensures that equipment moving parts are protected and, as a result,
the operational lifespan of the equipment is greatly increased, thereby assuring
the continued function of the equipment.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 57 is a completely water-resistant, extreme-pressure bearing lubricant
with mercurial wear-resistance characteristics. It contains specially-developed
high-impact resisting supplements. This remarkable grease solves wheel
bearing problems where heat, water and extreme conditions are present. The
unique Omega Megalite supplements incorporated into Omega 57 ensure
longer service life since equipment on which it is used will operate under
considerably cooler conditions, thereby providing a new dimension in downtime
prevention.
COHESIVE QUALITIES:
Omega 57 has the ability to resist even the most severe conditions and will not
break down or disintegrate as ordinary greases will. Omega 57 will not alter or
soften in wheel-bearing applications due to its resistance to high temperature.
APPLICATIONS:
Wheel bearing loads are concentrated in small areas. The points of greatest
pressure are considered to be either the cone bearings or ball bearings. Water
attack causes the greatest damage. Omega 57 resists water and, as a result,
protects bearings from oxidation.
PRESSURE PERFECT:
Omega 57 is capable of resisting severe and continuous impact. This
characteristic of the lubricant enables it to prevent wear and to allow the
bearings to function (as they were designed to function) -without hindrance.

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY:
Omega 59 actually promotes, through highly developed ionic inclusions, a longterm high-speed equipment efficiency in Central Systems. Contaminants are
kept out and corrosion and oxidation are kept to a minimum.
UNIQUE CAPABILITY:
Omega 59 has a marked capacity to penetrate and permeate exceedingly
difficult lubricant areas. A 7% concentration of specially-developed gellants
provide the means with which to retain its loose characteristics. This capability
is brought about by the inclusion of organo-montmorillonite (also known as
"Monite") which promotes a 'plating' action, forming a liquid-wedge preventing
metal-to-metal contact and resultant wear.
APPLICATION:
Omega 59 can be used in any and all CS equipment. It can be applied manually
or automatically.

64
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 64 is a scientifically-developed, ultra-tacky, heavy-duty and tenacious
lubricant. Its aim is the ultimate in lubrication protection for track roller, pin and
bushing systems.
BUILT TO RESIST CONTAMINATION:
Track roller systems are invariably used in areas where abnormal dust, dirt, grit
and similar conditions prevail. Ordinary greases adopted for track roller systems
readily absorb dust, dirt and grit. This rapidly forms an abrasive mixture that
causes premature wear. Omega 64 however, has built-in 'self healing qualities'
that actually form an outer shell after application. This keeps dust, dirt, grit and
other contaminants out.
OXIDATION RESISTANCE:
Omega 64 has special oxidation inhibitive qualities that resist oxidation.
Ordinary greases used for track roller systems easily squeeze out, leaving the
vital metal surfaces exposed to oxidation. Oxidation is the forerunner of
cancerous corrosion and its resultant downtime.
ESPECIALLY BUILT FOR TRACK ROLLER SYSTEMS:
Omega 64 has built-in elasticity that provides the stretchability necessary for
track roller system lubrication. It contains lubrimyostic elastomers that form
millions of long-strand films. These fine films perform the essential job of stress
curve lu-brication during track roller link-up chain movement.

RESISTS SQUEEZE-OUT:
Omega 64 stays in position after application. Ordinary greases form large periphery
deposits that absorb contaminants and eventually break loose and damage the
system. Omega 64 retains its NLGI 00 texture and will not squeeze out. It forms an
even, balanced lubricant layer of 'bearings' between frictional faces.
TEMPERATURE-STABLE:
Omega 64 retains its texture at both high and low temperatures. At high
temperature, ordinary greases thin out, become liquid and drip off the surfaces
intended for lubrication. At cold temperatures, most greases become hard and
solidify making lubrication impossible and, during the solidifying process, cause
extreme drag and thereby waste energy.

65
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 65 is a 'premier' lubricant especially designed for ultra long-term
preservation of today's chains, cables and wire ropes.
Omega 65 contains a precise percentage of high-contrast fluorinated polymers
in the form of methacrylates. These special supplements provide critical and
essential boundary formation that stops creep or squeeze-out. It has an avid
affinity for metal. This attraction provides the interfacial tenacity to prevent
squeeze-out at even the most critical CDAP (Change Direction Apex Point). It is
a well-known fact that 90% of all manufactured lubricants used on chains,
cables and wire ropes squeeze out during the first hours of service!
HIGH PURITY:
Omega 65 is a high-purity lubricant that provides a new dimension to
penetration quality requirements. This special aspect ensures that cables, wire
ropes and chains become completely saturated. This promotes a state of
equipment self-lubrication!
RELIABILITY:
Ordinary lubricants rapidly evaporate, even in mild climatic conditions. This
leaves equipment susceptible to oxidation, corrosion, rust, rigidity, and
eventually failure. Since equipment life depends on the long-term reliability of
chains, cables and wire ropes, their failure can cause untold damage.

TENACITY:
Omega 65's protection extends to both reduced motion and high-speed
equipment because Omega 65 has multiple surface tenacity that will not fling
off. Ordinary lubricants -often supplied as chain, wire rope or cable lubricants rapidly lose strength and decrease equipment flexibility. This promotes surface
breakdown and rapid failure. Even the initial lubrication which is incorporated
during manufacture seeps out or dries up. This is often caused by low grade or
inadequate film strength, lack of correct adhesiveness, dropping out (which also
leaves the equipment prone to corrosion and oxidation) and sensitivity to
climatic alterations.
Omega 65 meets and exceeds the requirements of all chain, wire rope and
cable manufacturers including Oil-Rite Corp'.

66
NOTE:
Omega 66 is the lubricant preferred by nearly every efficient military or
other quality/efficiency conscious organization in the world. Its super high
performance and wide operating temperature range, plus its relatively
high flash point provide essentially superior performance in all types of
equipment and especially medium to high speed bearings, such as
electric motors and automated or robotics equipment and machinery!
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 66 will not congeal or harden during severe freeze-ups. It retains its
NLGI 2 rating even at the lowest temperatures. This aspect ensures moving
parts are protected and lubricated at all times and especially at start-up in
moderate to cold climates. Ordinary lubricants harden and form energy
consuming drag' on moving parts.
HIGH LUBRICITY:
Omega 66 has a smooth, soft texture and forms the essential hydrodynamic
"liquid-wedge" between frictional surfaces. It promotes efficient operation and
lessens wear and tear.
WATER-RESISTANT:
Omega 66 is water and waterwash resistant. It also resists the tendencies found

in ordinary greases to form rust-prone areas where melting snow or ice contract
metal surfaces and lift away the protecting grease coating. Omega 66 remains
in place and protects all applied surfaces. Similarly, in high speed bearings, the
tenacity of Omega 66 ensures applied surfaces remain protected and lubricated
despite centrifugal forces which fling off ordinary greases.
CENTRALIZED SYSTEMS:
Omega 66 is also specially suited to bearing applications due to its good "stay
put" qualities. It is suitable for most high speed bearings, for example, a 10mm
(internal diameter) bearing set operating at 25,000 to 30,000 rpm. or a 20mm
bearing at 12,500-15,000 rpm or even a 30mm bearing operating at 8,500 to
10,000 rpm.

replenishment. Their unreliable tendency to become fluid and fling off has
hazardous effects on the equipment and its maintenance.

NOTE:
The criteria of a good gear lubricant is based on its ability to separate the
loading from one pair of gears to another in a multiple gear set. All
frictional Surfaces within any one gear system - including the gear shaft
bearings -are lubricated from one common source. If severe wear and its
resulting downtime is to be avoided - no lubricant compromise can be
made.
Omega 73 is a specially developed open gear lubricant designed to
provide multiple protection to the gear system -without compromise!
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 73 is a special, weather-resistant open gear lubricant that clings
tenaciously in position regardless of wind, rain, sleet, snow, sun, dust storms
and other climatic phenomena. It provides the additional protection needed for
gears and gear systems that ordinary gear greases fail to provide. Ordinary
greases rapidly develop into collective deposits that harden and cause frictionaldrag and excessive energy consumption. Omega 73 remains in position and
keeps the system and the gears in silent mesh.
CAPILLARY ACTION:
Omega 73 has a capillary action that spreads over metal surfaces and into wear
areas. This action prevents or reduces: -
wiping
scuffing
galling
rippling
sliding
pitting
scoring
clawing
These wear aspects are common with the use of ordinary greases.
OPIM73-1
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0

HYDRODYNAMIC STABILITY:
Omega 73 provides a hydrodynamic "liquid wedge" between gear wear areas.
This bed' of highly micronized bearings provide minimum friction for
intermeshing teeth and shafts.
Ordinary lubricant deposits build up and rapidly develop into hard spots that
score, gel, gall or claw metal surfaces.
TEXTURE RETENTION:
Unlike ordinary greases that easily harden, Omega 73 retains its original soft
NLGI 2 texture. Ordinary greases thin down and squeeze out, even under slight
temperature increases. Omega 73 retains its texture and stays in position. It
seals out the dust that causes wear in locations where just such conditions
prevail: Construction
Mining
Stone Quarries
Dam Building
Farms
Land Reclamation
EXTREME-PRESSURE RESISTANCE:
Omega 73 is loaded with special heavy-duty extreme pressure supplements.
These resist:Shock
Loading
Pressure
Meshing
Brake seizure
Ratio alterations
Squeeze-out
Start-up pressure
CLIMATICALLY STABLE:
Ordinary greases are unable to resist the "Rate of slide relative to pressure" in
gear mechanism applications. This causes the grease to squeeze out, leaving
the metal surfaces exposed to corrosion, oxidation and metal-to-metal wear.
Omega 73 has an affinity for metal and clings to the surface!

DESCRIPTION:
FUNCTIONS:
Omega 77 resists squeeze-out and thinning. Bearings must provide the support
and constraint to a moving link of kinematic chains or mechanisms. The prime
objective is to retain complete lubricant coverage and yet still provide maximum
mechanical freedom. Ordinary greases are unable to withstand the everyday
pressures of bearings and, subsequently, disintegrate rapidly leaving prime
support areas in direct, metal-to-metal contact!
COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH:
CONFORMITY:
Omega 77 has constant conformity. This aspect provides the essential texture
for precision applications and the necessary allowance for possible surface
deformity in the bearing. This ensures that alignment remains constant.
LOW CO-EFFICIENCY OF FRICTION:
OPIM77.2
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
Omega 77 rapidly absorbs and dissipates heat. Frictional heat can have a
marked effect on the running efficiency of the equipment. Ordinary greases tend
to burn-up and this enables hot-spots' to form. These develop into irreparable
wear areas.
CAPILLARY TENDENCIES:
ELASTICITY:
Ordinary greases tend to lubricate only those areas where they can be applied.
This results in large areas, without lubrication, being subjected to damaging
contact and eventual seizure! Omega 77 has a spreading ability that ensures
ALL potential wear areas are covered.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 79 Spindle Lubricant gives high-speed textile machinery maximum
lubrication with minimum maintenance. Omega 79 overcomes problem
lubrication under harsh working conditions found in textile mill machinery.
Omega 79 provides superior lubrication that helps retard machine breakdown
and reduces frequent stoppages for reapplication.
SPECIAL SELECTED ADDITIVES:
Omega is formulated from top quality base oils and ultra high-performance
additives to provide these features:
Pure White Formulation:
The structurally-pure, high-performance additives are non-staining and noncontaminating and resist discoloring fabrics. In the event Omega 79 comes into
contact with fabrics during production (e.g., during a mechanical malfunction or
careless application), dyeing the fabric with a darker color is unnecessary.
Tenacious "Stay-Put" Qualities:
During the process of dyeing textiles, the hot water and steam washes off
ordinary greases. This encourages machine breakdowns and inefficient
equipment operation. Insufficient lubrication leads to expensive production
stoppages, lost man-hours and increased losses. Omega 79 contains special
additives that resist washout to provide efficient lubrication without wash out,
squeeze out, bleeding or thinning.
High Temperature Flexibility:
High-production, high-speed textile machinery goes through various stages of
temperature change. Omega 79 is engineered to withstand wide temperature
fluctuations. This wide temperature stability of Omega 79, coupled with special
rust and oxidation inhibitors, ensure unparalleled lubrication.

DESCRIPTION:
New formulation Omega 95 is the latest generation of Omega's premier severe
saltwater-and corrosive atmosphere-resistant grease. It is characterized by an
extremely high load carrying capability, superior resistance to water,
unparalleled mechanical stability, enhanced resistance to oxidation and
corrosion and exemplary performance in high temperature applications. Omega
95 will continue to lubricate under complete immersion or high water washout
applications that no ordinary grease can endure.
ENHANCED CAPABILITIES
New and improved Omega 95 now provides still higher water wash resistance
and immersed lubrication performance from its "higher density than water"
characteristics. Not only is improved Omega 95 extremely capable at higher
temperatures, it will also perform superbly even at lower temperatures as low as
-23C (or -10F) or near-arctic conditions !!! Omega 95 also contains absolutely
no heavy metals, harmful or environmentally undesirable additives which makes
this lubricant suitable for the lubrication of reservoir sluice gates and
mechanisms, for freshwater lake and canal equipment, etc.
Due to the enhanced purity performance with this all-new Omega 95
formulation, the traditional applications of lubricating shipboard equipment and
dockside equipment -including dry-dock and ship repair/building equipment can
be expanded to include steam cleaning equipment used in bottling plants,
abattoirs, etc., where wet conditions are combined with high heat and
pressurized water wash.
Omega 95 works perfectly in anti-friction bearings, both low and high speed
ordinary bearings, for lubricating conveyors and for a large variety of
construction, irrigation and agricultural equipment lubrication, where wet
conditions are often encountered.

99
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 99 is an acid-resistant, water-proof, alkali-proof, high heat resistant,
metal preserving lubricant. It prevents metal seizure and enhances the ease
with which equipment can be efficiently dismantled for maintenance purposes.
THREAD LUBRICANT:
Omega 99 is also an advanced thread lubricant that forms a life-long protection
shield against oxidation and its cancerous, corrosive results.
RELEASE ACTION:
Omega 99 contains active zygotes that dissolve any existing formations of
corrosion and rust, leaving the metal surface as good as new. It can be used as
a releasing agent for corrosively-interlocked parts, components and fasteners.
MICRONIZED METALS:
Omega 99 contains highly micronized metals that fill in pitted, corroded areas.
This action is not only one of protection, but also one of repair to the metal
surface.
MAGNETIFERROUS INGREDIENTS:
Omega 99 contains active synergistic ferrous diesenitics in tandem with a chain
formation from the hydrocarbonacious material. These become highly active
when brought into contact with the molecular formation of oxides (which form
corrosion and rust). A rapid disintegration action takes place, whereby the
oxides are rendered neutral and dissolve. This in turn forms harmless hydrogen
oxides which are partly evaporated and partly floated away, leaving the metal
surface sterile and free from corrosion.

Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
NON-TOXIC:
Omega 99 in non-toxic and can be used in both open and confined spaces.
LONG-TERM PROTECTION:
Omega 99 provides long-term protection that will not wash away or evaporate
over extended periods.
PENETRABILITY:
Omega 99 has unparalleled penetration capabilities. Not only does it get down
under heavy corrosive areas and release interlocked parts, but it also
penetrates the fine pores in the metal surfaces and lifts the secondary corrosion
formations, thereby ensuring that rust is inhibited and seizure of parts is brought
to a halt.
EASE OF APPLICATION:
Omega 99 can be used on almost all areas. It releases and protects nuts, bolts,
studs, gaskets, washers, plugs, tube connections, steam pipes and fluid
carriers.
APPLICATION:
Ideally Omega 99 should be used on all components and parts BEFORE the
cancer of rust sets in, especially on such applications as conveyers, carriers,
generators, scaffolding, lift erector cranes and hoists, cable joints, studs,
turbines and crankpins, bearings and tracers, cams and lifter, joints and fittings
and similar corrosion-prone apparatus.

99N
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 99N is a "Nuclear Grade" Anti-Seize Compound that is possibly the
finest quality nickel-based anti-seize available. It is 100% lead and sulphur-free
and also contains absolutely no chlorides.
"NUCLEAR GRADE":
Ordinary anti-seize products contain between 200 to 300 p.p.m. of the
potentially-dangerous contaminates sulphur and chlorides, while most of the
advanced countries recommend an allowable limit of between 50 p.p.m. for
chlorine and 100 p.p.m. for sulphur for any anti-seize used in nuclear plants.
Omega 99N is 100% sulphur and chloride free and is recommended for atomicpowered generating plants.

SUPERIOR PROTECTION:
Omega 99N protects all types of threaded assemblies, press fits and fittings,
and retains its corrosion preventing properties from (Minus) -180C (-292F) all
the way up to 1,260C (2,300F), without breakdown.
Omega 99N prevents metal-to-metal seizure -if parts are coated prior to
assembly-and will withstand acids, alkalis, water, salt air atmosphere and most
chemical fumes. Omega 99N is simply brushed into the parts to be treated, and
because of its super micronized metal composition, will not affect the clearance
of the joint or cause difficult tightening.
WHERE TO USE:
Omega 99N is the perfect solution for anti-seize applications in nuclear power
plants and also plant and equipment using stainless steel and nickel alloy
fasteners, such as oil, chemical and natural gas refineries, chemical plants,
paper and pulp mills, waste disposal plants, water & saline treatment plants,
steam plants, marine applications, on ships, etc.
It can be used for both stationary equipment and for mobile applications, such
as cars, jet engines, trucks, buses, diesel gen-sets, mobile cranes, etc.

Ebony Fine
DESCRIPTION:
Omega Ebony Fine is a sovereign engine oil developed from a combination of
petro-scientific
expertise,
advanced
engineering
know-how,
advanced
MICRONIZATION:
Omega Ebony Fine contains a completely new type of Molybdenum Disulfide.
This MoS2 is totally different in structure and formation from ordinary Moly.
Omega MoS2 is essentially a highly fractionated particle that is so small as to be
comparable with a single molecule of cigarette smoke! This specially developed
Omega supplement does much of the direct metal surface penetration work.
QUALITY BASE STOCKS:
Ordinary oils are manufactured from a mixture of any of the worlds vastly
different types of crude oils. The scientific data of some of their contaminants
are well-known.
OPIM300-0
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
Omega Ebony Fine however, is manufactured from the finest base stocks
available Mid-Continent and Pennsylvania crude. The worlds petro engineers,
lubricant scientists, engineering technologists and major transportation bodies
all agree that Mid-Continent and Pennsylvania (USA) base stocks are the last of
a very rare quality of base stocks. They are much purer, stronger and more
lubricious that ordinary base stocks. They longer, work harder and provide that
essential lubrication needed for improved performance and long-term
protection. These are the base stocks and the ONLY base stocks used for
OMEGA EBONY FINE.

engine oils are not only sluggish, but as a result of their mixed formation, are
also prone to form sludge deposits that retard engine performance and increase
fuel consumption dramatically. On the contrary, Omega Ebony Fine being a
sovereign engine oil, decreases friction and therefore reduces fuel
consumption by as much as 13%.
REDUCED FRICTION MEANS REDUCED WEAR
Since Omega Ebony Fine promotes lubricity, the friction areas are protected for
a longer time, are able to run cooler and are kept apart by a hydro-dynamic form
of lubrication. This means that regardless of compression or directional
movement, both or all contact areas are protected by the bearing bed of
Omega Ebony Fine!
INTERFACIAL SUPPLEMENTARY POLARIZATION STRENGTH:
The pole strength as represented by the MKS (Maxwells) System is a
hypothetical concept of an isolated magnetic pole, as an interfacial contact area.
However, such a field does exist and is formed, NOT from an electrical field but
from a frictional field. The affinity it retains for a metal surface results in its
capacity to cling to that surface. Omega Ebony Fine forms a capillary-active
and protective layer which remains in position at all times. This constant
polarization means consistent lubrication and protection for the contact areas.
Ordinary oils do not contain supplementary polarization and therefore squeeze
out (or migrate away from compression), leaving the interfacial areas exposed
to direct contact and massive wear.
ANTI-OXIDATION:
Omega Ebony Fine is fully inhibited for oxidation resistance. This ensures that
corrosion and the formation of rust are unable to gain a foothold in the valuable
and costly equipment.
SPECIAL PLATING CAPABILITIES
Omega Ebony Fine has the ability to form surface sub-asperity plating contours.
Where the actual metal surface has infinitesimal defects at both high and low
points Omega Ebony Fine utilizes the micronized MoS2 to form a constant
overlaying plating effect that not only provides the bearing surface on which
the mineral oil can function, but also forces the one-time rough surface to
smooth out, thereby creating almost perfect lubrication conditions!
OPIM300-2

CLIMATICALLY STABLE:
Ordinary engine oils can only function either in the cold or in the hot. Few are
capable of being cold and hot stable. Omega Ebony Fine however, has special
viscosity improvers that can lower the fluid texture to a thinner level in the cold
when compensation for contraction is required. At high temperatures when
expansion is needed, the fluid texture is lifted to a higher level.
ECOLOGICALLY AND SCIENTIFICALLY APPROVED:
Omega Ebony Fine prevents pollution by reducing the levels or Hydrocarbon,
CO and NO2. This considerable step towards the total eradication of poisoning
is considered by ecologists and scientists as a tremendous step forward.
Pollution is eveybodys business and Omega Ebony Fine reduces it
dramatically.

580
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 580 heralds "the" important scientific breakthrough into the field of high
purity lubrication. It features an additive formulation so unique that it has virtually
no competition in its operating capabilities - where only the purest, cleanest
lubrication is demanded. Omega 580 sets new standards of performance by
which future high-purity lubricants will be measured.
PREMIUM QUALITY INGREDIENTS:
Omega 580 contains such a highly-advanced and sophisticated additive
formulation that they were individually tested by the United States Department
of Agriculture, who approved each and every additive!
SUPERIOR TO ORDINARY "PURE" GRADE OILS:
Ordinary so-called "pure" oils are known under a variety of names such as
"Pure White" or "Pure Mineral" or "Medical" or "Pharmaceutical Grade", etc.
However they lack any effective additive inclusion because ordinary additives
are toxic and would render the oil unsuitable for high purity applications. The
result is that these ordinary "pure" oils provide extremely limited performance,
lack stability, are easily "worn", foam excessively and oxidize rapidly. They
require frequent changing and do not offer performance anywhere comparable
to that of ordinary oils used in non - high purity applications.
Omega 580, on the other hand, is based on a completely new additives
chemistry that is completely non-toxic and gives it extraordinary performance
capabilities over ordinary "pure" oils.
USDA-APPROVED ADDITIVES:
Omega 580 contains anti-foam agents, a highly effective oxidation inhibitor and
supplementary antiwear agents. In addition, a special bactericide is added to
enhance purity and keep the harmful bacteria count extremely low. These
additives packages are so advanced that no ordinary pure oil contains them.
Most importantly, they enable Omega 580 to easily outperform ordinary pure

oils under service conditions. (Due go the very high concentration of proprietary
additives in Omega 580, there may be a very slight degree of sedimentation.
This does not impair the product's performance to any detrimental degree).
USES:
Due to the effective additives package in Omega 580, it will outlast and
outperform ordinary "pure" oils in any application demanding pure grade oils. In
addition, Omega 580 can be used in compressors, pumps, vacuums, hydraulic
systems, chains and conveyors where incidental food contact is encountered.
Omega 580 is recommended for use in food processing plants, abattoir
equipment, bottling machinery, hospital equipment, canneries, pharmaceutical
manufactories, bakeries, cosmetics factories, research laboratories and all
types of machinery and equipment that demand the use of pure oil grades.

585
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 585 is an advanced, new All-Synthetic Food Grade Chain & Gear Oil that
provides for extended lubrication intervals by virtue of its high performance blend of
additives that have been thoroughly inspected and tested for purity. Unlike ordinary
chain oils that are used in food and beverage plants, Omega 585 can be left on
treated parts and does not have to be flushed and steam-cleaned off daily, since it
is officially-approved as a lubricant suitable for use in all types of food plant
equipment. Being 100% synthetic, Omega 585 does not contain any mineral oil,
polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or potentially harmful constituents.
DYNAMIC QUALITIES:
Omega 585 clings tenaciously to applied parts and outperforms virtually all high
performance lubricants used for food machinery. It features both a high Flash Point
and an ultra low Pour Point and its extended service temperature range is from -30
to 240C(-22to 460F). It therefore provides superior lubrication performance in
both high heat equipment - such as bottling, canning and cooking equipment, and
also in "reefer" (refrigerated) equipment, cold rooms and ice-making plant
equipment.
This
in-built
versatility,
combined
with
Omega
585's
high
performance
specifications, make it the lubricant of choice for use throughout most food plants,
on all types of equipment, including chain drives, conveyor systems, belt pulleys &
bearings, guide ways, gear systems, baking oven chains and for drip feed or oilbath applications as well.
"PURE" PERFORMANCE:
Omega 585, in addition to providing exceptional anti-wear qualities due to its high
lubricity, also provides exemplary rust prevention protection on applied parts and
equipment. This is an important consideration, especially for food and beverage
plant applications due to the high amounts of residual food extracts and acids,
vegetable oils, fruit and citric acids and high humidity common to such
environments.

601
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 601 is a stable, viscous, fine film and high strength lubricant developed
for maximum lubrication protection of turbine pumps, water wheels and
irrigation systems. It is made with the finest base oils and blended for long term
reliability.
RESISTS RUST AND CORROSION:
Omega 601 contains a specially developed rust inhibitor with metallic ions. This
forms a self-lubricating 'skin' over the bearings, whilst filling in any surface
discrepancies. Omega 601 also contains anti-oxidants to positively resist
corrosion. This combination of supplements ensures a longer life for the
equipment.
SUPERIOR LUBRICITY:
Omega 601 has such a high degree of lubricity that after the initial application,
the potential wear components become self-lubricating. This means that
equipment can be left to run for many hours without the need for constant
checking. Omega 601 also forms a hydrodynamic 'wedge' between friction
prone areas, thereby reducing unnecessary drag and wear on the equipment.
RAPID WATER SEPARATION:
The water or water vapour present when using turbine, water and irrigation
systems equipment, often combines with the grease. The grease then carries it
into the system, where it can form cancerous internal rusting. Omega 601,
however, contains neofilmers which form a polarizing action that separates the
water from the oil BEFORE it penetrates the system. This ensures that the
equipment remains water and condensation-free and that oxidation and
corrosion are unable to gain a foothold.
ANTI-FOAMING:
Any aeration in turbine, water and irrigation equipment causes oxidation and

cavitation. Omega 601 has special anti-foam qualities that positively resist
aeration and therefore prevent oxidation and cavitation.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:
Omega 601 is resistant to chemical attack and provides long-term equipment
protection even in heavily-polluted conditions. Its ability to seal out contaminants
is exceptional. Special minute quantities of buffering agents are incorporated to
ensure chemical neutralization.

604
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 604 is a specially designed lubricant for air-operated tool applications. It
provides exceptional protection and increases substantially the operating life of
the equipment. It is a combination of superb selected base oils and carefully
fortified supplements, among which the Extreme Pressure supplements are
paramount.
EXTENDED EQUIPMENT LIFE:
Omega 604, unlike ordinary oils, has a superior degree of tenacity. Whereas
ordinary oils seep out and move away from the contact areas, Omega 604
forms a tough, anti-compressive film that protects where it is needed most. This
aspect alone ensures that equipment life is greatly extended.
EXTRA ADHESIVENESS:
When used in contact with water, ordinary oils wash out, leaving the metal
surface exposed. Omega 604 however, promotes such a degree of
adhesiveness that, despite the presence of water (constant or under pressure),
total protection is ensured.
DEPOSIT REDUCTION:
Both the base oil and the supplements of Omega 604 are extreme pressurefortified. This provides a lubricant of unprecedented compressive qualities that
resists shock, load, impact and other similar characteristics found in rock
drilling.
OXIDATION RESISTANCE:
Omega 604 is exceptionally oxidation-resistant so that unlike ordinary oils that
build up layers of damaging deposits, i.e. gums, varnishes and metal-destroying
carbonaceous deposits, Omega 604 is able to keep passage and valve areas
free from blockage that would otherwise reduce the drill speeds.

PRECISION VISCOSITY:
Omega 604 is designed to penetrate 'oil line feeders' at the correct pace, providing
the essential lubrication for air-operated rock-drilling equipment. Ordinary oils thin
out under temperature increase, causing inadequate and ineffectual sealing of the
reciprocating piston or hammer. Rapid gum formation and sludge build-up not only
slow the equipment down but also cause drag and increased energy consumptionall of which detract from the penetration-power the drill was initially designed for.
WATER RESISTANCE:
Omega 604 promotes constant lubrication even under oil/water conditions, whereas
ordinary oils, with inadequate emulsive qualities, result in the direct introduction of
water into the equipment. This results in corrosion and oxidation spots, which
rapidly form cancerous internal rusting.

606
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 606 is a high viscosity, multi-grade hydraulic oil, with a greater film
strength than ordinary hydraulic oils. Omega 606 has been designed to function
with superior results, without change, for 10 years.
VISCOSITY:
Omega 606 is highly viscous, so unlike ordinary hydraulic oils which are made
from naphthenic crude, refined-waste or low-grade sulphur oils, Omega 606
ensures constant pressure, high volumetric efficiency, an absence of slippage
and sound application.
TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE:
Omega 606 serves to minimize wear and frictional energy take-up by resisting
temperature build-up. Some hydraulic oils are made from Iranian heavy crude,
Nigerian crude, Qatar crude, Ratawi crude, or other such low quality oils which
are prone to large temperature fluctuations. This results in pressure loss,
unnecessary energy intake and slow, sluggish response.
LUBRICITY:
The oil in a hydraulic system must also provide excellent lubrication of moving
parts. Omega 606 lubricates the friction-prone areas, and therefore facilitates
motion. A special paraffinic mineral base oil makes Omega 606 a superior
hydraulic oil.
OXIDATION AND WEAR RESISTANCE:
Omega 606 is a high grade oil that combats oxidation. Where low grade oils
have an acidic build-up (leading to corrosion of the entire hydraulic system),
Omega 606 has a very low pH, and therefore there is no acid build-up and no
resultant oxidation. Omega 606 is also fortified with special metal deactivators,
and these,

Ordinary vegetable-oil based hydraulic oils suffer from poor oxidation stability
(which is accelerated the higher the operational temperature), incompatibility with
some bearing materials, low friction characteristics in wet brakes and unstable low
temperature fluidity.
In laboratory tests carried out by independent OEM's, some of the ordinary
vegetable based hydraulic oils could not be poured after only 100 hours test for
oxidation stability and also showed large increases in TAN (Total Acid Number).
In separate tests conducted by the U.S. Military, some vegetable oil-based
hydraulic oils froze at temperature of only -150C (50F) and extrapolated to actual
use, would make hydraulic equipment inoperable in conditions of freezing
temperatures !!!
HIGH PERFORMANCE PRODUCT:
Omega 607 provides superior lubrication and stable hydraulic power transfer for
hydraulic systems with minimal effect on seals. Omega 607 lubricates all contact
and friction-prone areas, and promotes longer operating life for most types of
equipment.
Due to its highly stable formulation, exposure to long work hours at elevated
temperature of high load have little detrimental effect of Omega 607's ability to
provide smooth operation in hydraulic systems.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 608 is a chain and way lubricant specially engineered for a wide range
of applications. It is a combination of superb, select base oils and highly-fortified
extreme pressure supplements. It provides exceptional protection and
substantially increases the operating life of equipment.
HIGH VISCOSITY:
When exposed to moisture, ordinary oils wash out, leaving the metal surface
unprotected. Omega 608 features high adhesiveness agents that, despite the
presence of water (constant or under pressure), provides total protection.
OXIDATION RESISTANCE:
Unlike ordinary oils that promote the accumulation of damaging deposits - such
as gums, varnishes and metal-destroying carbonaceous deposits - Omega 608
helps keep applied surfaces free from blockage that would hinder smooth
operation.
EXTENDED LIFE:
Compared with ordinary oils, Omega 608 has a superior degree of tenacity. It
forms a tough, anti-compressive film that prevents seeping out and moving
away from the contact areas. Thus, equipment life is greatly extended.
LOAD CARRYING CAPABILITY:
The base oil and supplements of Omega 608 are fortified with extreme pressure
constituents. With this remarkable property, it can resist shock, load and impact

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 609 is an all-new, Food Grade Air-Line Lubricant made from the purest,
refined base oils that heralds a new level of safety with in-built safeguards should the
product accidentally or through operating conditions, come into incidental contact
with food or beverage processing, pharmaceutical, or sanitation process equipment.
HIGH PERFORMANCE LUBRICANT:
Due to the air pressures and contaminants often inherent with the operation of airline equipment, the ability of Omega 609 to prevent the formation of blockage
elements in valves, airways, nozzles and hoses provides enhanced safety, coupled
with consistent operating environment air pressures.
Omega 609 positively prevents 'curdling' when it comes into contact with water
and/or moisture and cannot therefore interfere or form hard blockages at the
connection stages of air line equipment. Omega 609 ensures free flowing properties
are maintained throughout the equipment on which it is used.
SUPERIOR STABILITY UNDER VIRTUALLY ANY CONDITION:
Omega 609 features an extremely stable viscosity profile under varying operating
conditions and maintains its consistent flow characteristics at virtually any operating
temperature that air line equipment is normally subjected to.
Unlike ordinary lubricants, Omega 609 shows very little viscosity fluctuation under
high or low operating temperature conditions and even under cyclic temperature
conditions. This characteristic provides peace-of-mind lubrication that engineers
often require but seldom obtain from ordinary low-performance lubricants.
SAFETY SUPERIOR TO ANY ORDINARY LUBRICANT:
Omega 609 easily meets or exceeds safety requirements due to its Food Grade
qualities of purity and its high performance lubrication which maintains equipment in
top operating condition. Omega 609 also satisfies the lubrication requirements for
pneumatic air-tools that require a high purity lubricant.
OUTSTANDING PROTECTION FROM OXIDATION:
Omega 609 contains special additives that provide outstanding resistance to

oxidation. This protection extends to all feedlines and parts through which Omega
609 flows. This outstanding oxidation resistance property is extremely important to
machinery and parts life due to the continuous introduction of air in air line equipment
which causes ordinary oils to oxidize rapidly.
Omega 609 also feature negligible volume displacement action to resist foaming
more effectively than ordinary air line lubes. This provides additional operational
savings since feedline foaming causes wastage by increasing application feed rates
unnecessarily.
The combination of far superior oxidation resistance and lower foaming provides for
substantial long term savings for air line systems using Omega 609.

REFRIGERATION:
A cold temperature can be created by compressing a suitable 'refrigerant' (i.e.
Freon, Propane, Carrene, Ammonia) into a restricted area and sealing it. By
releasing the compressed fluid through an expansion valve, it evaporates and the
heat is removed, thereby lowering the temperature. The faster the evaporation
takes place, the lower the resultant temperature will be.
REFRIGERATION LUBRICANT:
The most important functions of a refrigeration lubricant are : protection, lubrication
and the prevention of build-up in and around the expansion valve. The method of
lubrication is either force-feed or splash. In this way, rotors, pistons and bearings
are constantly being lubricated. Omega 611 provides a number of special costsaving benefits.
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 611 is an ultra-low temperature stable refrigerator lubricant, designed to
provide trouble-free, long-term, constant performance for all types of refrigerators light, medium and heavy-duty. Its formulation took exhaustive research and
development using the most sophisticated scientific equipment available. It contains
minute quantities of silicone-iron in a twin state isotropy and anisotropy. This
remarkable reverse-cycle system empowers the lubricant to form a tenacious hold
on the surface as well as the ability to lift in-system contaminants and foreign
matter, and pass them through without build-up.
OPIM 611.0
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0

PERMEABILITY:
Ordinary oils used for refrigerators are often waxy and easily solidify. They have low
surface permeability, resulting in the formation of oxides within the system. This
soon leads to scaly build-up, which in turn promotes corrosion, and the eventual
breakdown of the equipment. Omega 611 however, is a finely balanced polycrystalline that magnetically permeates the surface and forms a strong and
completely protective lubricant film.
VAPOUR FORMATION:
Relative humidity, or the formation of a vapour, is expressed as a ratio (by
percentage) of the actual vapour pressure to the saturated vapour pressure at a
given temperature. The formation of vapour or condensation in low temperature
equipment is natural. However, the quantity varies with climatic fluctuations being higher in high-temperature climates, and lower in low-temperature
climates. Vapour is the forerunner of corrosion and rust. Omega 611 displays a
capillary action to seal components, and prevent condensation and vapour from
penetrating the system.
EMULSIBILITY:
Omega 611 is soluble with all refrigerants. However, unlike ordinary oils, it does
NOT form a waxy or solid deposit at extreme temperatures. Its exceptional low
temperature characteristics ensure that it remains stable - regardless of
temperature changes.
WEAR PREVENTION:
Omega 611 is made from the finest base oils and has exclusive Omega
supplements to withstand wear and compression conditions.
PREVENTS ICE FORMATION:
Formation of ice WITHIN the system is both dangerous and undesirable.
Omega 611 prevents this formation and retains a constant fluid texture.
PREVENTS CARBON FORMATION:
Omega 611 prevents the build-up of carbon. Carbon deposits damage the
system and form heavy deposits that drain energy consumption.

VISCOSITY STANDARD:
Omega 612 Universal Lubrication & Hydraulic Oil has a highly stable viscosity
standard. It remains constant throughout temperature fluctuations and retains
its texture regardless of varied conditions.
ANTI-WEAR:
Omega 612 has a number of easily recognizable advantages over ordinary 'oilcan' oils used in the workshop. One such advantage is its special ability to resist
wear. It contains special built-in wear inhibitors that actually surface-alloy the
frictional area and prevent direct interfacial contact!
FOAM-INHIBITED:
Ordinary oils tend to aerate, causing an influx of oxygen into the equipment.
Oxygen is the carrier of corrosive oxidation and oxidation causes equipment
deterioration and, eventually, costly breakdown!
ANTI-MAGNETIC:
Omega 612 is anti-magnetic. It does not attract metallic dust and magnetic
particles. Omega 612 actually forms a fine film 'skin' that keeps such
contamination and dust out of the lubricant and, therefore, away from the
interfacial areas.
NOTE:
Ordinary general-purpose workshop lubricants are often electro-statically based.
They form a minor but destructive magnetic field which 'draws' airborne
particles into the lubricant. This causes untold contamination problems as well
as the formation of an abrasive fluid that is constantly fed into valuable
equipment. The abrasion promotes wear. Wear requires replacement.
Replacement needs time. Time costs money!

The use of ordinary or inadequate lubricants in today's compressors is dangerous.
A reaction caused when heat and carbon formation are swept into the receiver can
be an explosion or a hazardous fire. Unfortunately, this fact is often ignored or
misunderstood until it is too late.
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 613 is a superb air compressor & vacuum pump lubricant designed to
provide a new dimension to compressor/vacuum pump safety and cost-saving
functionality. The ideal characteristics such an oil should have are, high
chemical stability, good flash point, high thermal stability, high degree of
refinement and purity, and it must be heavily fortified against the formation of
rust, corrosion and oxidation. It must have a balanced viscosity that will ensure
the essential protection for fine clearances and tolerances.
CARBON RESISTANCE:
Omega 613 resists the formation of carbon. Ordinary oils promote this formation
because of their high degree of impurity and their susceptibility to
contamination. This combination forms rapid 'hot spots' that soon develop into
granite-like carbon deposits. Omega 613's exceptional lubricity not only closes
seals and thereby improves pressure output, but also resists high temperature
destruction.
VISCOSITY STABLE:
Omega 613 has built-in viscosity improvers that provide the added fine
clearance protection essential to long term compressor/vacuum pump
efficiency. The fluidity or lubricant texture remains stable despite temperature
variations.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 636 is a universal, multi-purpose lubricant designed for maximum
surface penetration power, superior water displacement capability and
engineered for a wide variety of applications in the workshop for maintenance.
SURFACE PROTECTION
Omega 636 offers an unprecedented standard of protection for metal surfaces
against corrosion caused by oxidation. Not only does this product penetrate the
metal surface, it also leaves a thin protective surface film that resists oxidation,
rust and corrosion.
RUST PROTECTION:
Omega 636 is so versatile that can be used as a rust protection before applying
other heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings or treatments (excluding paints or
primers, since Omega 636's oiliness will affect surface adhesion).
LONG LASTING:
Unlike ordinary penetrating oils and water displacers that easily become
unstable, Omega 636 retains its stability through specially-formulated thermal
conducers, myothritic ions and an insulated, built-in system of gyrogystics.
These combine together to ensure long-lasting protection.
UNYIELDING LUBRICITY:
Omega 636's viscous lubricating film greatly reduces friction, heat and wear.
Pressure-activated EP additives effortlessly overcome lubricating emergencies
such as when sudden and/or excessive pressure threatens to rupture the
lubricating film to cause disastrous metal-to-metal contact.

APPLICATION:
Omega 636 can be used in all medium to small size machinery and equipment as a
rust inhibitor, surface protector, fingerprint and perspiration suppressant and active
water displacer. It can also be used as a light-duty lubricant during deep penetration
applications. Unlike cheap kerosene/light oil products that easily wash off, Omega
636 stubbornly adheres. Apply in a sprayer, as a drip, with a brush or as a dip.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 640 Outboard Motor (2-Stroke Gasoline) Oil has been speciallydesigned for use in Marine Engines. It is a multi-functional lubricant that is used
in high-performance engines, including competition 2-stroke engines.
HIGH PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
Omega 640 combines a superior quality, solvent-refined base oil with speciallydeveloped cylinder lubricants, ashless detergent and anti-rust additives.
UNPARALLELED PROTECTION:
Omega 640 contains an advanced additive package for marine engine use, and
the lubricant is inherently salt water and brine resistant. The inclusion of a
powerful ash-free rust inhibitor is effective in protecting all engines and precision
engine parts - such as critical needle roller bearings -from oxidation and
corrosion.
REDUCES DEPOSITS:
The special, clean-burning ash-free additives of Omega 640 eliminate problems
of combustion deposits, which promote power loss and engine pre-ignition.
Ordinary premium marine lubricants use organo-metallic additives which tend to
cause combustion and engine malfunction. The deposit-reducing ashless
detergent in Omega 640 eliminates carbon, gum and varnish build-up. It also
eliminates ring sticking and minimizes exhaust port blocking.
The ashless quality of Omega 640 -in concert with select base oils and a special
cylinder lubricant -provide high-revving and high temperature stability. It also
prevents piston scuffing and provides superior lubrication - especially with lean
burn oil/gasoline fuel mixture ratios. Omega 640 overcomes spark plug bridging
deposits to minimize or eliminate the cause of engine misfiring or seizure and
scoring.

643
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 643 is a sophisticated diesel engine oil designed for long-term and
heavy-duty service when utilizing high sulphur content diesel fuels. It contains a
wide variety of essential inhibitors and resistors which can reduce shock and
temperature fluctuations and form a powerful and protective "liquid wedge"
between wear-prone parts.
UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS:
Omega 643 is different from ordinary diesel oils since it is made from quality
paraffinic base stocks. Omega 643 is therefore considered by petroleum
engineers all over the world, as the finest engine oil that money can buy! In
contrast, ordinary diesel engine oils are made from Naphthenic base stocks
which are known to absorb oxygen, thereby promoting oil oxidation and, in turn,
unstable viscometrics, often leading to the oil "thickening" excessively or
"thinning" inappropriately to service conditions.
TURBOCHARGED ENGINES:
Most ordinary lubricants cannot handle the scorching temperatures encountered
in turbocharged diesel engines. These high output, "workhorse" engines need
the sort of protection that only Omega 643 can provide.
Omega 643 protection means consistent high power output, long-term
operational stability, resistance to higher temperature conditions, resistance
against severe atmospheric conditions and the provision - by Omega 643 -of
cooler operating temperatures with markedly less tendencies toward oil
breakdown and subsequent severe (and expensive) engine damage.
Omega 643 has been developed for use under the toughest operating
conditions -from frigid to scorching ambient temperature conditions, in stop and

646
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 646 is a fluid lubricant engineered exclusively for chains. It employs the
high technology originally derived from the space age in which a super micronized
solid lubricant -moly -is used to complement a high-grade, refined paraffinic oil in
the lubrication of chains.
CHAIN LUBRICATION PROBLEMS:
Conventional chain oils and greases lubricate by separating the load surfaces with
a hydrodynamic film. This film cannot always be achieved in actual "in use"
situations. Formation of this film is a function of many variables such as lubricant
viscosity, surface speed and applied load. When speeds are too low, loads are too
high, or there is an improper match of lubricant to viscosity to speed and load; and
a plethora of other variables, metal-to-metal contact occurs to increase friction and
subsequent excessive wear.
These conditions are not uncommon. They exist in normal operation such as during
machinery start up, shutdown, during running-in of a replaced part and all through
the operation of many heavily-loaded, slow-moving parts prevalent in chain driven
machinery. A phenomena known as "chatter" or "stick slip" occurs and there is no
lubrication between the chain and gear wheels!
PREVENTS METAL-TO-METAL CONTACT:
Omega 646 absolutely prevents any metal-to-metal contact in the absence of
hydrodynamic film. Under load, the micronized platelets present in Omega 646's
moly, slide easily upon one another to prevent metal contact. No other conventional
lubricant can do so. Omega 646's specialized moly will keep lubricating up to an
approximately limit of 750F (400C). Therefore Omega 646 can be used in the
most demanding, tough and high temperature chains without breakdown or
deterioration.

RUNNING IN:
Every new metal surface under a microscope is actually a series of valleys and
peaks. When two such surfaces come into contact, only the peaks meet. Therefore
these very small areas bear the entire load. These peaks "cold weld" together, then
shear apart when movement occurs. Omega 646 -when applied to new parts before
operating -can prevent actual contact between the peaks and prevent galling,
scoring and catastrophic parts failure.
The moly in Omega 646 permits the surfaces to conform to each other by plastic
deformation rather than potentially destructive welding and shearing. Omega 646
permits optimum run-in lubrication for new machine parts.
SLOW-MOVING PARTS:
Ordinary lubricants fail to achieve a hydrodynamic film between slow moving parts
under high load. Omega 646 will separate such surfaces even at rest and its low
coefficient of friction prevents chatter and stick-slip operation.
PREVENTING FRETTING CORROSION:
In limited motion machinery, vibration prevents the forming of hydro-dynamic
lubricant film between parts. Conventional lubricants literally vibrate off or migrate
away. Omega 646's moly remains in place, reducing metal-to-metal contact and
fretting corrosion.
ANTI-FRICTION BEARINGS:
When bearings overheat, ordinary grease components thin out excessively. Omega
646's moly will continue to protect such surfaces.
SUPERIOR FOR CHAIN LUBRICATION:
Omega 646 is formulated from the ground up with expensive, high-performance
constituents. The base suspension lubricant is a high quality, refined paraffinic
which displays superior lubrication action and anti-oxidation qualities.

operating costs.
APPLICATION:
Omega 646 can be applied directly onto chains and machine parts by either
dipping, using a brush or bath or by drip feed. Any fling-off that may be encountered
in certain high-speed chains immediately after application can be ignored as the
moly in Omega 646 will hold tenaciously onto the applied surfaces where lubrication
is most critical. Omega 646 is used for superior lubrication of all types of chains conveyors, gear drives, pulleys, etc. and will withstand the punishing high
temperature conditions found in dryers and stenters.

647
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 647 was developed as a complementary chain lubricant to the widelyaccepted and popular Omega 646 "High Tech" Fluid Lubricant for Chains, and
utilizes an advanced synthetic formula, making it suitable for higher temperature
operating conditions than conventional mineral oil-based products.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:
In general terms, Omega 647 is engineered for high performance lubrication on
chains equal to its sister Omega 646. However, in addition to superior lubricity,
Omega 647 exhibits three technical advantages:
"STAY-PUT" QUALITY
Omega 647 is blended using a specially-developed high tackiness agent. This
agent enables Omega 647, on application to chains, to adhere tenaciously to
the pores within the metal but with a built-in elasticity to help itself spread out
along the chain and rollers without squeezing out or being pressed out. This
extraordinary adhesive quality enables Omega 647 to exert an especially high
"cling" force to applied metal surfaces and, even in high speed chain
applications where the centrifugal forces cause ordinary lubricants to fling off,
Omega 647 remains stubbornly in place.
ELIMINATES STUBBORN, DOWNTIME-INDUCING CHAIN RESIDUES
Omega 647, even exposed to elevated temperatures over extended periods will
not dry, burn off or form any carbonaceous gum, varnish or coke. With ordinary
chain lubricants, these carbon residues interfere with the free movement of the
chain and causes chain "jumping", clatter and slip, increasing chances of
breakage and injury or other losses.
In addition, equipment has to be shut down and the chain(s) must be
dismantled and cleaned with solvent and brushes - an unenviable and time-and
labour-intensive undertaking. Omega 647, even when exposed to extremely
high temperatures for long periods will simply vaporize. All that is required is to
top up drip, feed or bath tank with more Omega 647. No additional labour or
work stoppage for chain cleaning is required.

658
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 658 is a revolutionary, emulsifiable, cutting and cooling fluid that
penetrates rapidly deep into the shear zone of machining operations to minimize
the internal friction between the cutting tool and work piece. It is excellent in
preventing metal-to-metal bonding which, in turn, leads to increased tool life and
metalworking efficiency.
OUTSTANDING HIGH LUBRICITY FEATURES:
Omega 658 instantly removes the heat generated by both internal and external
friction away from the cutting tool and work piece. In addition, Omega 658
provides enhanced high lubricity that prevents heat buildup and lowers the
temperature in the shear zone thereby prolonging tool life by at least 100%. It
also aids the surface finish of the work and further increases production rates.
In development testing, performance is improved between 50% to more than
100%.
SUPER SAFE:
Omega 658 is super safe as it is non-flammable and will not generate
nauseating fumes or odors in normal use. It is non-hazardous by current
definition as outlined by The Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) ACT. In
addition, it contains no sulphur, chlorine, nitrites or lead compounds.
Omega 658 is non-irritating to skin as it has a very low toxicity. However, the
use of protection gloves and barrier cream is recommended when highly
concentrated Omega 658 is used over long periods.
SUPER ECONOMY:
Omega 658 can be diluted with 10 to 40 parts of water, depending on the
severity of the metalworking process. It can be used on a wide variety of metals
and alloys. It contains proprietary and highly effective inhibitors to prevent rust
and corrosion of equipment and tools as well as finished products.

SERVICE CONSIDERATIONS:
Omega 658 is designed to be used with water with hardness not exceeding
400mg/kg as calcium. For water with hardness exceeding 400mg/kg, a water
softener is recommended.
Omega 658 should be mixed with water by adding the oil to the total volume of
water while stirring. This forms an oil-in-water mixture. Adding the water to the oil
may result in a water-in-oil emulsion that can be thick and oily and unsuitable for
machining and grinding.

faster, easier and cleaner.
SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE:
Omega 659 is viscosity-balanced to meet the special requirements of threadcutting. The great frictional heat generated will not affect the lubricating qualities
of Omega 659 or its viscosity. Also, the clear, colourless feature of Omega 659
provides good visibility of the work to ensure faster and more accurate thread
cutting.
TENACITY:
Omega 659 remains in position despite irregular and fluctuating thread-cutting
speeds and angles of attack. This feature maximizes lubrication for easier and

Omega 660 is a high quality Heat Transfer Lubricant of superior thermal
stability. It is engineered to the highest operating standards to resist sludging
tendencies common with low quality oils.
Omega 660 is produced from an exceptionally fine, low viscosity base oil. This
improves heat transfer properties immensely and also provides superior thermal
stability and resistance to thermal cracking at elevated temperatures.
OPIM 660.0
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0

Omega 660 features extremely low volatility due to special choice petroleum
fraction constituents. lts low vapour pressure and extended boiling point enable
heat transfer systems to operate at both low pressures and elevated
temperatures.
DECREASED OPERATIONAL COSTS:
Omega 660's lower viscosity at all operating temperatures lower energy
requirements for pumping and circulation purposes. Smaller pumps can be
used or alternately, bigger existing pumps can be run at lower and more
economical speeds due to the low load presented by Omega 660 at start-up.
Omega 660 is completely safe under normal handling conditions and is
completely non-toxic.
USES:
Omega 660 is engineered for use in closed heat transfer systems equipped with
expansion tanks and operating to 320C (608F). It is ideal as a heat transfer
medium in processing industries such as plastics, waxes, resin, fiberboard,
varnish, asphalt, grease, rubber, soap and pharmaceuticals manufacturing.
Omega 660 enables extremely close process temperature control and reduces
the risk of fire as no direct heat is exposed to flammable processing materials.
The uniform transfer of heat provided by Omega 660 reduces the possibility, of
overheating which is a common problem in processing industries. Omega 660
is also highly effective as a quenching oil and is recommended for heat-treating
steels due to its high heat capacity, good heat conductivity, low viscosity, high
thermal stability and high flash point.

670
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 670 is a hundred percent STRAIGHT paraffinic gear oil designed for
high-purity gear applications. It contains the result of a unique blending
procedure whereby the finest quality, solvent-refined Paraffinic Oil is gelled with
hyper-purity and dewaxed cylinder-quality mineral base oils which provide the
superb standard of lubricity that ordinary gear oils are unable to attain.
CORROSION RESISTANCE:
Omega 670 is inhibited against corrosion and oxidation. Its pure saturated
characteristic ensures gear surface protection at all times.
FOAMING RESISTANCE:
Omega 670 is also foam resistant and it can withstand sustained gear action
without aerating.

OPERATING TEMPERATURE:
Omega 670 operates at both ultra-low temperatures where ordinary oils begin to
drag and consume costly energy, and at higher temperatures where its body
structure remains stable. Ordinary oils thin down so badly that gears rapidly
deteriorate and fail.
AGMA STANDARDS:
Omega 670 meets and exceeds all American Gear Manufacturers Association
(AGMA) standards which consist of-
AGMA 1
AGMA 5
AGMA 2
AGMA 6
AGMA 3
AGMA 7 comp
AGMA 4

680
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 680 is a high-performance lubricant designed exclusively for Worm
Gear applications and performs two major functions of paramount importance
to ensure proper operation, efficiency and "maintain-ability":
* Omega 680 reduces friction and wear; this improves the mechanical efficiency
of Worm Gear sets and helps extend gear life to an unprecedentedly high
degree.
* Omega 680 acts as a highly efficient lubricating medium that reduces friction
temperature and thereby keeps heat build-up away from the contact area of
Worm Gear Sets. This heat reduction property keeps gear sets operating for
longer periods and avoids heat distortion of both the steel worm and bronze
gear sets found in most Worm Gears.
ENERGY SAVING:
Omega 680 improves efficiency of Worm Gear sets by at least 5%, and more
usually 7-8%, (based on test measurements between input torque and output
torque). In order to illustrate the energy savings possible, it is known that if
efficiency of worm gears were increased by a mere 3%, U.S. industry could
save 6 billion dollars annually! Therefore, on even the smallest piece of
equipment, over its lifetime, using Omega 680 can provide great energy
savings.
Worm gears, by their design, lose about 75% of their potential output power due
to heat generated by sliding friction. Other factors that cause inefficiency are
hydrodynamic oil churning, bearing friction and other related friction losses.
Omega 680 contains special colloidal dispersants that remain in suspension
throughout the lubricant to help overcome these friction losses, while providing
exceptional protection to the metal gear parts coming into contact with it.
OPIM680-1

SUPERIOR EFFICIENCY:
Omega 680 High Performance Worm Gear Lubricant provides several
important benefits which are here summarized:
Used on new gear sets, Omega 680 significantly reduces the "break-in"
time required to attain optimum operating temperature. By introducing
Omega 680 from "new", metal gouging and abrasion can virtually be
eliminated, and thereby improve gear set operating life dramatically. Metal
Shearing and chipping off due to "newness" can be prevented, and thus
wearing down of mating metal surfaces is gradual and non-damaging.

690
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 690 is a revolutionary CTA (Compensatory Thermostat Action) gear oil
that surpasses the API GL-5 AND GL-6 requirements. In general, even the best
ordinary gear oils can barely attain the GL-4 (or at the very best GL-5)
requirements, and very rarely can oils meet API GL-6 requirement.
SUPREME TENACITY:
Omega 690's has a marked ability to follow a gear train and stay in position.
This well-known Omega 690 trait has been subject to many - mainly
unsuccessful - attempts to copy or assimilate this action. But there is always a
difference between a "copy" and the genuine quality of Omega 690. Omega 690
retains a fine film on the metal surface regardless of how thoroughly it is wiped
away. This ensures that Omega 690 is performing its major "stay put" function.
Ordinary gear oils migrate away from the metal surface. They leave the friction
surface exposed to direct and unprotected contact. This lends itself to oxidation
that causes corrosion.
This unique CTA feature ensures Omega 690 provides uniform flow at all
operating temperatures for more consistent, high lubricity performance and
ensures consistent fluid drag over the extended useful operating life of the
lubricant.

EXTREME PRESSURE:
Omega 690 is heavily-fortified with carefully-calibrated, extreme pressureresistant supplements. Its additional supplements for corrosion resistance,
oxidation resistance, water wash qualities and many others far outnumber those
of most ordinary gear oils. The special extreme pressure supplements are
designed to withstand such adverse performance conditions as:
Load
Inductance
Limited Radiation
Compression
Displacement
High
Impact
Contact Migration
Explosive Migration
Shock
Surface Depolarization
Implosive Fragmentation
Impression
Capacitance
Reverberation
Thermal Conductivity

FRICTION MODIFICATION:
Omega 690 contains a selection of friction modifiers. These supplements have
been only recently developed and Omega 690 is considered to be one of the
very few gear oils to boast their usage.
WATERPROOF:
Omega 690 is completely water and waterwash resistant. It resists
condensation and humidity, rain and other forms of water and moisture contact
without thinning or contamination.
VIBRATION RESISTANT:
Omega 690 dramatically reduces the noise level in a gear system. This
prevents scuffing, scoring, galling, pitting and scraping. These major causes of
noise (and wear) are largely eliminated and Omega 690 promotes the nearsilent running of gears of gearboxes.

Special Properties

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 747 Silicone Brake Fluid is formulated for compatibility with SBR, EP,
natural rubber, and other brake system materials. It ensures long-term braking
performance under conditions of both extremely high and low temperatures,
and-unlike conventional polyglycol fluids-Omega 747 does not absorb water,
damage painted surfaces, or corrode any brake system material.
OPIM747-1
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
USES:
Omega 747 Silicone Brake Fluid is intended as a complete replacement for all
polyglycol fluids in braking systems.
PERFORMANCE DATA:
Conventional polyglycol brake fluids have several shortcomings. They are
hygroscopic and are therefore subject to water absorption. They have a very
high viscosity which means poor flow at sub-zero temperatures.
These fluids actually attract moisture from the air, draw it through the permeable
brake hoses, and absorb it. This lowers the boiling point, and hence in creases
the possibility of brake failure caused by vapour lock. The absorbed water also
serves to increase the viscosity at sub-zero temperatures, thereby promoting
corrosion of brake system components.
BOILING POINT:
Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 116 (FMVSS 116) specifies two grades
of polyglycol brake fluid, high boiling point and low boiling point.
Specified minimum boiling points are 230C (446F) and 205C (401F) for the
fluids when dry, and 155C (311F) and 140C (284F) for the same fluids when
they contain 3.5% water. In normal service, the fluids can easily draw in
moisture. If so, the boiling points will be even lower.
In contrast, Omega 747 Silicone Brake Fluid does not boil at 260C (500F), not
does it attract or absorb water to lower the boiling point.
OPIM747-2
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
When tested against FMVSS 116, Omega 747 Silicone Brake Fluid absorbs
approximately 800 ppm moisture and no more. In contrast, polyglycol fluids
continue to absorb moisture indefinitely.
TEMPERATURE VISCOSITY:
Omega 747 Silicone Brake Fluid does not thin out appreciably at high
temperatures or become stiff at low temperatures. It exhibits relatively little
viscosity change from -40C to 288C (-40F to 550F). In contrast, glycol fluids
thicken considerably at -40C (-40F), and sub-zero temperatures have an even
more marked effect on its viscosity.
As a result, brake systems filled with the Omega 747 release more quickly at
sub-zero temperatures, reducing the possibility of wheel lock and skidding.
COMPATIBILITY:
Omega 747 Silicone Brake Fluid meets the compatibility specifications of
FMVSS 116 for SBR and EP rubber. Although it is not miscible with
conventional polyglycol fluids, it can be used with such fluids in the same
system.
In contrast, mineral oil is incompatible with both SBR and EP rubber. Its use in a
system containing these materials would constitute an acute safety hazard.
EFFECT ON PAINT:
Unlike conventional polyglycol fluids that often cause undesirable effect on
paint, Omega 747 Silicone Brake Fluid will not attack paint. However, for best
results, the paint should first be removed with a cleaning solvent having a
mineral spirits base.
Caution:
DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES:

LIFE-SAVING FEATURES:
Omega 747's non-flammability characteristic gives it a superior safety aspect
compared to polyglycol brake fluid. In vehicle accidents, one of the main causes
of death and injury is the instantaneous ignition of the brake fluid immediately
following the impact. Ordinary polyglycol fluids catch fire easily and may cause
the fuel tank to explode. Omega 747's super high temperature resistance
characteristic prevents combustion and will actually help douse any flammable
material.

This grade features excellent "cold starting" abilities, and engines can be
cranked at as low as -30C (-22F) without the use of auxiliary oil heating
devices. It is therefore especially recommended for cold climates or winter
use.
K. Special 20W50 Formulation for Turbocharged Gasoline Engines.
In addition to the regular 15W40 grade, an advanced Turbo-ready 20W50
grade has been introduced.
In all respects the 20W50 is similar to Omega 757 15W40 and Omega
Manufacturing Division recommends the use of the 15W40 grade for all
normally-aspirated gasoline engines and all normally-aspirated diesel
engines. However, for turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines, the
special turbo-ready 20W50 grade is recommended.
The main difference in Omega 757 20W50 Turbo Engine Oil is the addition
of a Computer Aided Design (CAD) additives blend that protects critical
turbo-charger bearings and parts. This exclusive Omega blend of advanced

NOTE:
When used on turbocharger engines (either gasoline or diesel), the maximum
permissible drain interval should not exceed 12,800km (8000 miles).
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Omega 757 can provide up to 50,000 mile (80,000km) drain service intervals
under ideal operating conditions for on-highway, steady speed applications in
large diesel engines. Small engines, such as gasoline and light, high-speed
diesels used in passenger cars and diesel light trucks/vans are designed
around very small capacity oil tanks which require frequent inspection and oil
change -even when using high performance engine oils like Omega 757 due to
the rapid contamination and build-up of combustion cycle by-products.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 759 is a transformer oil with exceptionally high dielectric values. All
petroleum oils are hygroscopic, having an avid affinity to moisture. As they
absorb moisture from the air, they lose their dielectric values. Omega 759 is
specially engineered to retain its high dielectric value for an extended period.
SPECIAL PROPERTIES:
Omega 759 is made from low moisture content, fine base oil stocks. The oil
goes through special drying processes to remove virtually all traces of moisture.
The process is repeated until the limit of the de-moisturizing equipment is met.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Omega 759 meets and exceeds all international specifications, including:
British Specifications BS 148 (1984) Class 1
Australian Standard AS 1767 (1975)
International Specification IEC Publication 296
(Class 1), 1969
Although not routinely tested for compliance, Omega 759 will meet the
requirements of the following additional specifications:

767
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 767 High Performance 2-Cycle Racing Engine Oil is a premium fully
synthetic low ash two-stroke formulated lubricant with specially developed
diester basestock for superior lubricity and exhaust blocking performance. It is
blended to meet the severe high temperature and high load requirements of
modern two-stroke engines. Omega 767 is ideally suited for all gasoline 2stroke engines either as a premix or in oil injection systems.
SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE:
Designed for high performance air or water cooled 2-stroke engines, Omega
767 provides superior balanced performance exceeding all requirements for the
API TC, JASO FC, ISO-L-EGD and EGC standards.
Omega 767 is a fully synthetic oil with unique additive system that essentially
eliminates carbon and gum formation and provides excellent rust and corrosion
protection. Omega 767 also contains an exclusive additive that keeps power
valves clean and working properly. Omega 767 keeps on lubricating while other
lubricants turn to carbon or vaporize, and provides extra protection on cylinder
walls, bearing journals, and other critical areas at temperatures much higher
than other lubricants.
DELIVER MAXIMUM OUTPUT POWER:
Omega 767 helps to reduce friction and wear, improves throttle response and
delivers maximum power. Its clean burning low-ash formulation prevents plug
fouling and carbon deposits delivers quick, dependable starts. Omega 767
reduces smoke and emissions and wont load up during prolonged idling. It
also reduces power-robbing friction and prevents piston scuffing and seizure.
Omega 767 is most suitable for use on 2-stroke engines running at extremely
high revs and high output, as under racing condition.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 777 Special Performance Racing Engine Oil was developed for
competition or ultra tough operating conditions for all four-stroke gasoline
engines. It is engineered to provide enhanced lubrication in highly-stressed,
highly-tuned and high output racing engines.
SPECIAL FUELS:
Omega 777 is recommended even where special high octane gasolines and
gasoline mixtures are used. It is near neutral in reaction even in engines burning
methanol and/or nitromethane. Due to the inordinately high degree of protection
capabilities, Omega 777 is also suitable for normal daily use and will provide
superior drain intervals and lubrication in such, less critical, applications.
OPIM777-1
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
Racing or high performance engines are designed around rapid oil circulation
criteria to keep operating temperatures to an acceptably low level. This rapid oil
circulation action is potentially dangerous, however, due to the promotion of
engine foaming as oil is pumped quickly from tank, through the engine
components and back to the reservoir, via the oil filter.
Ordinary oils foam rapidly and cause serious breakdowns such as piston
seizure. This is caused by the air/oil foam mixture which cannot lubricate engine
parts properly.
SPECIAL PERFORMANCE:
Omega 777 is actually capable of assisting in attaining higher engine
revolutions! This special attribute is possible due to the lower apparent viscosity
(lav) of Omega 777. This 'lav' creates less fluid drag and minimizes internal
engine friction to actually improve "rev"-ability of racing engines. This advantage
is inferred on Omega 777 by permanent, shear-stable, viscosity-improved
polymers.

790
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 790 is a superior quality, blended, textile spindle and thread lubricant. It
is completely scourable and does not stain or mark fabric. In addition, it will not
discolor the fabric or alter the fabric structure in any way. It provides the
operational characteristics for extremely high speed performance of up to
20,000 rpm. It is also capable of maintaining a cooler running temperature for
long periods. Omega 790 ensures dramatic decreases in downtime.
STAIN RESISTANCE:
Omega 790 is completely stain-resistant. It contains highly active biocrillers that
readily and rapidly emulsify with ordinary cold water. Ordinary oils currently
being used in the textile industry not only stain the fabric, but are often
impossible to remove without the use of hot (or warm) water and tedious, costly
washing with detergents followed by a series of rinses. Omega 790 has an
affinity for water and it allows the molecular structure to combine and form an
evaporative reaction, taking the Omega 790 with it.
TENACITY:
Omega 790 forms a "hard to fling" clingability with the high speed spindle
mechanism. It remains in position despite irregular and fluctuating speed
actions. This feature ensures that all parts of the machinery are given maximum
protection during high speed operations.
IMPACT RESISTANCE:
Omega 790 is fortified with impact-resistant supplements that inhibit shock,
pressure, load and impression. Ordinary oils not only cannot withstand the high
speed movement of the spindle, but also become bruised and damaged after
short operating intervals, rendering the friction area highly susceptible to
breakdown and wear.

One of the major causes of energy "drag" in the highly competitive and costly
textile industry is lubricant deterioration leading to the formation of surface gums
and deposits on friction areas. Omega 790 positively resists such action and
thereby ensures maximum efficiency without drag. Omega 790 can decrease
energy consumption by as much as 18.5%.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 120 is a hand cleaning compound that has specially been developed to
assist Omega-users, such as engineers, mechanics, and jobbers to clean up
since Omega specialty lubricants feature such enhanced adhesive qualities that
ordinary hand cleaners are just not up to the job.
SUPERIOR CLEANING QUALITIES:
Omega 120 features extremely effective and rapid acting surfactants (surface
active agents) that quickly soak and seep under the surface grime to work loose
and flush these contaminants to the surface of the skin for easy removal by
washing off or cleaning with tissues and towels.
Omega 120 is powerful yet gentle enough not to damage even delicate skin
tissue. The secret to Omega 120's effectiveness is its combination of superior
wetting agents and the finest ground natural pumice which acts as a gentle
abrasive to massage and knead off virtually any type of skin contaminant.
This product also quickly degreases oil-soaked or grease-encrusted skin areas
to enable rapid cleaning for users - but without the skin-damaging action of
common cleaning solvents often found in ordinary hand cleaning formulations.
Omega 120 contains mostly natural ingredients, including skin-healing aloeconsidered to be one of the most beneficial plant extracts - that is used
extensively in fine quality cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

901
DESCRIPTION:
Ordinary engine additives have single-function improvers. Omega 901 is
designed around a multi-facet engine improving formula which goes far beyond
ordinary additive functions. Omega 901 is an engine fuel additive for gasoline
engines which improves engine performance without the inclusion of engine
damaging ingredients, and actually protects the engine with regular use.
Omega 901 can therefore help engines deliver more calorific output than
untreated gasolines. Engines will also last longer due to decreased engine oil
contamination.

Omega 901's special upper cylinder lubricant has a molecular structure that
enables it to combine with the fuel before detonation, and reconvert back to an
oil after detonation, to coat and lubricate the upper engine parts.
This gives Omega 901 unprecedented upper cylinder lubrication qualities that
guarantee extended ring, valve, spring and small-end operating life. Another
advantage of this superior ring lubrication is the ability of Omega 901 to give a
better compression seal and thus provide an increase in engine power.
This upper cylinder lubrication also helps to minimize the accumulation of intake
valve deposits and maintain emission control system efficiency.
CORROSION INHIBITORS:
Omega 901 contains sulfurized olefins which are an advancement over the
commonly used zinc dithiophosphates, which are themselves based on
technology that has remained unchanged since 1941.
These sulfurized olefins impregnate into the very pores of the metal in the
engine to saturation point. This film adheres tightly to metal surfaces and is
immune to removal by detergents and dispersants, and thereby fully protects
the engine from corrosion.
They act to smooth out the microscopic irregularities present in cylinder and
piston walls and improve the lubricity of the friction surfaces, thus minimizing
wear and metal distortion.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVERS:
Omega 901 gives spark engines the additional additives that are absent from
even the best ordinary motor oils. Its introduction through the fuel system
ensures that it can protect ALL engine parts rather than just the crankcase and
its environs. Ordinary motor oil additives cannot reach the upper cylinder parts,
which are prone to the hardest attrition rate without proper lubrication, and
account for the most instances of engine failure.

903
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 903 is a diesel oil additive that compensates for inherently
unsatisfactory diesel engine operation, keeps diesels operating for extended
periods, cleans out the injector system, and prevents harmful sludge from
accumulating in vehicle & fuel storage tanks.
PROBLEMS INHERENT TO DIESEL OPERATION:
Diesel engines are very sensitive to the quality of fuel they use in terms of
flexibility and power output. The use of unstable fuel formulations can cause
gumming up problems that block filters, pumps and injectors and lead to
complete breakdown of machinery within a very short period of service life.
Diesel oil is widely available to the industrial user, but unfortunately, there is
nothing the user can do a carefully check that only a high quality diesel oil is
supplied.
A low quality diesel fuel quickly clogs injectors, gums up crankcases and filters,
and leads to uneven and unbalanced power compression strokes. If the
situation is allowed to continue indefinitely, the resultant engine damage can
lead to sheared crankshafts, bent rods, scored cylinders and cracked pistons.
HOW OMEGA 903 WORKS:
Omega 903's ashless detergent additives, when added to diesel fuel, resist the
formation of gumming and residues. This preventative action helps prevent
injector tips, inlet and exhaust valves, and filters from becoming clogged.
This residue-resistant action enables the diesel injector to function properly at
all times and Omega 903 continues to clean the engine as it operates, to ensure
optimum performance at all times.
Omega 903 also contains an advanced olefin corrosion inhibitor which acts by
"plating" engine parts with a micronized lubricant film that is impervious to high
temperature and adheres to metallized parts. This "lubrication plating" action
protects the engine parts from the effects of oxidation (rusting) and provides for
slippery, friction free surfaces.
OPIM903-0
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
This dual "plating" and "friction-reducing" function of Omega 903 gives diesel
engines unparalleled protection from the effects of fuel-line by-product corrosion
action, and ensures superior friction-free lubricity to improve parts life.
DOWNTIME PREVENTER:
The diesel engine has an inherently long service life due to its robust design and
compression properties. However, in many instances, maintenance and
adjustment downtime can be enormous as these engines are normally running
at 80-90% power capacity at most times. Omega 903, added to the diesel fuel
can reduce downtime due to injector clogging, filter changing, engine sludge
and varnish build-up removal, and engine breakdown, by preventing the causes
at the outset. Many diesel operators have to work in less that perfect conditions
of tough climatic environment, unavailability of premium diesel fuel, lack of
spare parts, minimal maintenance and repair facilities, lack of trained personnel
and prolonged equipment operating time. Engine maintenance in such
circumstances is normally stretched to maximum limits or equipment is kept
operating until breakdown occurs.

904
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 904 is an industrial oil concentrate, scientifically designed to improve
operating efficiency and reduce maintenance downtime.
SPECIAL ADDITIVES:
Omega 904 contains special fortifying additives, including Extreme Pressure
'EP', anti-wear and anti-oxidation.
The EP and anti-wear additives allow safe and efficient operation under highload conditions. As pressure on the moving parts increases, ordinary oils are
squeezed out, and the resultant metal-to-metal contact causes localized
welding. As the pressure continues, the welds shear and are evident as areas of
severe wear. Omega 904 reacts with the surface of the metal and forms a
chemical compound that provides lubrication, even under extreme pressure,
and therefore pre-vents any damage to the metals.
When oxidation of a petroleum lubricant takes place, its viscosity is increased
and Petroleum Oxyacids (acidic contaminants) are formed. Omega 904's antioxidation additives eliminate these undesirable effects and give the oil a greatly
extended useful service life.
REDUCED FRICTION:
Omega 904's high melting point enables it to maintain a protective, lubricating
film between the surfaces in contact, and therefore, reduces 'drag' and high
operating temperatures. It also eliminates shearing, galling, plucking and seizing
of machine and equipment parts.
VERSATILITY:
Omega 904 is so versatile that it can be used in all forms of gear boxes,
transfers, transmissions and Vee-drives. It can also be used for all automatic or
semi-automatic lube systems and can be applied to all oil lubrication systems.

vehicle owners give the cooling system only cursory attention. The cooling
systems of today's modern engines face two great difficulties. These are lack of
lubrication and rust, Lack of lubrication results in the pre- mature failure of the
water pump, and also causes sticking of the thermostat and improper operation
of the thermostat, Rust can and often does cause complete radiator failure.
PRESENT PROBLEMS:
Surveys show that 1 out of every 5 vehicles have cooling system breakdowns
each year , especially in summertime a cooling system breakdown in a private
car is inconvenient but such a breakdown in a commercial vehicle such as a
truck or lorry or a mining or construction vehicle can prove disastrous and is
usually exceedingly expensive in lost production and repair cost, One vehicle
failure usually holds up more than that one vehicle, Substantial lost production,
upset schedules, wasted man-hours, delayed deliveries and lost customers can
be the costly result of the cooling system failure of a commercial vehicle.
Radiators and cooling systems in modern vehicles have to work much harder
than cooling systems had to in the past, lt is much more important today than
ever in the past to use Omega 906 water pump lubricant and radiator
conditioner, Today, vehicles are much more apt to have cooling system breakdowns than in the past,
The internal combustion engine has a thermal efficiency of only about 25%.
75% of that energy is wasted, mostly in the form of heat. lf this excess heat is
not removed properly, it can cause great damage to both the transmission and
engine parts. The cooling system has to absorb and dissipate about half this
heat via various mechanical parts and the fluid in the radiator, (A small
percentage of vehicles are air cooled).

907
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 907 is a specially formulated engine and compressor flushing
compound that removes all harmful deposits in an engine with addition, and
prior to flushing of old oil. This complete removal of accumulated sludge,
through the use of Omega 907 Engine Flush enables the new oil to function at
it's peak performance, and thus protect and lubricate the engine parts to best
effect.
Modern engine oils are designed with complex additive packages that are
produced with in-built limits of operating life. When such limits are exceeded, or
if the oil is subject to operating in extreme conditions, the additives break down
and no longer provide the engine with proper protection.
1. Anti-wear agents break-up and metallic engine parts start throwing off minute
chips and particles that are circulated by the overworked engine oil.
2. Corrosion Inhibitors are progressively weakened until the acids formed by the
chemical combustion cycle residue start to attack rings, valves, cylinders,
walls, bearings, etc.
3. The Detergents and Dispersants lose their ability to keep the engine sludge
in suspension due to 'overload', and deposits start to adhere and gum to
parts, eventually forming varnish with operating heat.
OPIM907-1
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
5. The Glycol anti-freeze agent in motor oil starts destroying the additives, and
the engine's performance gradually deteriorates until complete failure results.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A NORMAL OIL CHANGE:
As motor oil additives reach the end of their operating life, through overwork,
there are literally dozens of engine damaging impurities in suspension (if the
detergents are still functioning) or coating the whole engine.
A normal engine oil change flushes away part of the suspended impurities but
leaves at least a pint (600 ml) of the old oil within the sump, coating engine
surfaces, and, in severe cases, gumming up engine parts.
When a new oil is added during a normal oil change, the impurities in the old oil
and those still coating the engine parts immediately start to react with the new
oil's additives. The new oil's additives are put immediately to use combating the
impurities of the old oil, and cannot, therefore, even provide engine protection at
the very start of its operating life!
The new oil provides a diminished level of protection from the beginning of its
service life and, in severe cases, no protection at all! With every successive oil
change, the condition worsens until an engine seizure takes place.
WHEN YOU USE OMEGA 907:
Omega 907, when added to old oil just prior to drainage, will immediately act on
the gumming and varnish deposits on all engine parts to quickly destroy their
metallic adhesion and suspend them in the tired oil for easy removal with
drainage.
Omega 907, unlike ordinary flushes, is added to an operating engine and thus
also removes varnish and deposits from valves and hydraulic lifters, to ensure
proper post-application operation.

APPLICATION:
1. Turn engine off after attaining normal operating temperature.
2. Add 250 ml of Omega 907 to every 3 litre of engine oil capacity (1 pint to
every 3 quarts).
3. Start and Idle engine for 10 minutes, then drain crankcase while hot.
4. Replace oil plug, change filters and add fresh new Omega engine oil.
5. Dispose of Omega 907-treated old oil by burial in metal containers or by
returning to local petroleum industry for re-cycling. Do not pour directly into
sewage system or discard indiscriminately.
6. Repeat application every 6,000 miles (9700 km) or with each oil change to
ensure maximum engine protection.

The battery is probably the simplest component in a vehicle. It is made up of
three basic components -the housing itself, an electrolyte and the battery plates.
Yet, for all its simplicity, battery failures account for more instances of vehicle
downtime that any other vehicle component.
Omega 908 battery additive is designed for a 'one-shot' treatment, for all leadacid batteries to increase and maintain battery power and provide many extra
years of battery service life.
HOW A BATTERY WORKS:
A lead acid battery consists basically of a housing or case made from an acidresistant material such as synthetic plastics, hardened rubber, etc. Inside the
housing there are a number of positive (+) plates which are made up of a leadalloy grid frame, sandwiching a lead peroxide paste.
The negative (-) plates are similarly constructed of a lead-alloy grid frame but
sandwiching spongy metallic lead oxide.
The positive and negative plates are insulated from each other by nonconductive separator plates and immersed in an electrolyte liquid consisting
30% sulfuric acid and 70% distilled water. In the discharge mode, the electrical
current is generated by the acid in the electrolyte which then reacts with the lead
oxide plates to form lead sulfate.
In the recharge mode, the vehicle's alternator or generator breaks down the
lead sulphate formed by the battery discharge to reconvert it back to lead oxide
and acid.
In practical terms, when you start a vehicle engine or use the horn, lights, etc.,
the battery discharges. When the motor is idling or running, the altemator or
generator recharges the battery.
BATTERY PROBLEMS:
Although the battery is a relatively simple device, there are many inherent
problems associated with its design that can quickly lead to a complete
breakdown if it is not carefully maintained.
OPIM908-1

Revision 1.0

1. Charging system fault: A mechanical fault in the vehicles' charging system can
damage the battery, either through high current overcharge, which can literally
buckle
discharge continuously.
In the case of battery problems 1 & 3, proper overall vehicle maintenance can
prevent these "battery killer" conditions. The more widespread cause of battery
failure (No. 2) can be directly attributed to battery sulphation and Omega 908
positively puts an end to such problems.
In modern driving conditions, many short trips are made. There are frequent
start-ups and the power drain from air conditioners, electric motor-powered
conveniences like windows, demisters and other accessories can often result in
battery drainage.
When the battery is called upon to continuously put out more electricity than it gets,
lead sulphate starts to form on the battery plates. If unchecked, it soon spreads
quickly, and literally encrusts the entire bottom of the housing as well. When this
happens, the battery is unable to charge properly, the electrolyte boils away and the
plates become coated with more and more of this thick sulphation. The battery
continues to become increasingly weaker until it fails completely. Result: another
costly battery replacement, an expensive service call and possibly a lost customer
for commercial vehicle operators, not to mention the inconvenience of lost
production time.

What results is a faster and more efficient flow of both discharge and recharge
currents through the battery plates and separators to actually boost the battery's
efficiency.
Omega 908 once added to the individual battery cells, will remain active through
the extended life of the battery, preventing the formation of excessive
sulphation.
In can be used successfully on both old and new batteries and also acts as a
pacifier and an equalizer on the self-discharge impurities in the electrolyte
solution and plates.
Omega 908 immediately acts to restore sulfated, yet mechanically sound,
batteries and restores full capacity to all treated batteries.
In actual tests and demonstrations, mechanically sound yet badly sulphated
batteries, which have been lying in disuse for literally years, have been brought
instantaneously back to life with the addition of Omega 908!
Omega 908 will positively and immediately restore full battery capacity to old
batteries and preserve new batteries from the danger of sulphation.
As Omega 908 is a one-time treatment for batteries, it keeps working to keep
the plates clean and porous. Your battery will run cooler, stronger and last
longer.
Batteries will give full peak power performance, display improved electrical
storage capacity and ensure faster starts in hard starting conditions, such as
either high or freezing temperatures, and in both high and low humidity
(moisture) conditions.
HOW TO APPLY:
The Omega 908 500-ml container is graduated in 12 equal parts. For 12 volt
batteries, pour 1 part of Omega 908 into each of the 6 cells. For 6 volt batteries,
pour 2 parts of Omega 908 into each of the 3 cells. To maximize the benefits
obtained from the addition of Omega 908, it would be advisable to bring the
treated battery to a full trickle charge immediately after adding Omega 908. This
will speed up the de-sulphation process. Only one application of Omega 908 per
battery is necessary and there is no need for re-application as Omega 908 will
keep reacting for the entire extended service lift of the treated battery.

SUPER ENGINE OIL ADDITIVE:
Probably the most important, yet least understood ingredient of most modern
engine oils are the additives that are included in the oil itself. Most additives fall
into one of two main categories. One category of detergent-type additives
contain phosphorus, sulfur or chlorine derivatives and the other contains
proportions of heavy oil. Omega 909 is unique in that it does not fall into either
category but instead uses a completely new and advanced chemical action that
is superior to both.
The second category of engine oil additives is nothing more than the addition of
a heavier grade of low viscosity oil, which is included in the belief that 'a heavy
oil in the engine oil is a good thing'. However, no scientific proof exists to
substantiate such an unscientific second guess.

1. Viscosity Index Improvers: The Omega 909 V.I. (Viscosity Improver) consists
of a carefully balanced synthetic oligomer which displays all the advantages
of both monomer and polymer V.I.'s, with none of the disadvantages. The
Omega 909 oligomer spreads out the viscosity capability of the parent engine
oil over a wider operating range that is inherent in the parent oil viscosity.
This improves the cold start engine protection of the parent oil while at the
same time, keeping the parent oil from thinning out when the engine
temperature rises to operating temperature. What this means to the user is
less initial start wear on cold engine parts and better lubrication when the
engine reaches its normal operating range.
2. Detergency Modifiers: Most engine oil additives use metal soaps to impart
detergency to the oil and, to break up oil oxidation by-products, which form a
grimy sludge in engine crankcases. However, these same detergent additives
also form an acidic by-product, which in turn corrodes the engine parts. Omega
909 employs a non-metal, ashless type of detergent composed of polymerized
olefins. This metal-free additive is also effective in maintaining cleanliness in the
ring zone thereby eliminating ring and valve sticking problems. The 'free ring
action' and proper piston ring operation at all times, ensures lowered oil
consumption and eliminates combustion stroke blow-by, thereby giving maximum
engine power.

preferable for use with either a new or only slightly used oil. It should never be
introduced for use with an engine oil that is nearing the end of its useful service
life.
For Passenger Vehicles: Add Omega 909 in the ratio 1 part Omega 909 to 20

For Heavy Equipment:
Replenishment:
Since most vehicles burn off some of the engine oil in the sump, the engine oil
may have to be topped up occasionally. Omega 909 should be added in the
same proportion as the topping up engine oil to maintain its performance. If 1litre of engine oil is added to top up, then 50-ml (1:20) of Omega 909 should
also be added to the engine sump.

dramatically.
915
provides
superior
extreme

(EP)
and
antiwear
performance and protection for automotive and industrial gear and bearings.
This is achieved through a totally new and innovative boron-type chemistry.
Laboratory and extensive field testing indicate that the "thicker" EP film provided
through the addition of Omega 915 extends an unprecedented degree of
protection to geartrain hardware under extreme, high load conditions.
Test results indicate complete safety in extended gearbox drain intervals - from
a minimum of 30% up to 100%! Despite the increased drain interval, superior
equipment protection has been observed with Omega 915-treated geartrains.
SUPERIOR STABILITY:
Omega 915 provides its remarkably improved EP-qualities without the corrosion
problems or sludge formation usually associated with ordinary sulphurphosphorous additives. Under extreme pressure conditions, the boron-based
chemistry in Omega 915 interacts with the metallic load-bearing surfaces to
form a phenomenal and unique non-corrosive EP-film that is actually up to ten
times "thicker" than any ordinary EP film formed with ordinary EP chemistry.
The EP film provided by Omega 915 is, in fact, so tenacious that it is physically
bonded to the metallic geartrain and practically eliminates any possibility of
corrosion in the geartrain and environs.

917
Omega 917 is a new type of lubricant designed to lubricate, protect, and prolong
the life of all types of seals.
When seals dry out (shrink and crystallize), they become ineffective. When this
ageing process occurs, they chip and crack, allowing severe loss of fluid.
ECONOMY MAINTENANCE:
Omega 917 is a tremendous money-saving aid in preventive maintenance.
When Omega 917 is added to a leaking transmission, it quickly stops the leak.
When applied to any unit containing good seals, it will keep these from
deteriorating in the future.
Once a seal has chipped or cracked, replacement is the only remedy. A cracked
seal results in the loss of 2 or more quarts of fluid every week. A defective seal
can eventually cause irreparable damage to the entire transmission or unit.
Replacing a seal is a big job. The transmission must be completely removed
and disassembled and this is a costly procedure.
SPECIAL FEATURES::
Omega 917 contains no harmful chlorides or solvents while most transmission
additives on the market today do, and these cause far more harm than good.
OPIM917-0
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: REC
One of the jobs of the transmission additive is to soften the seals to restore their
pliability. Solvents will do this -but solvent additives make the seals too soft.
When solvent additives are used, the seal cannot stand the pressure which
builds up in the unit. This is why seals "Blow".
Chlorinated additives attack rubber and soon cause irreparable damage.
Moisture such as condense, when combined with the chlorides, causes
chemical reactions to take place, resulting in the formation of acid. The acid
attacks the metal as well as the seals and this accounts for the leaks and
corrosion found in transmissions.
Omega 917 not only restores seals to their original rigid structure but also
enables them to stay pliable enough to fulfill their function.
In the past, most engineers, mechanics and transmission men did not believe in
the use of transmission or seal additives for two basic reasons:
1. Solvent additives overdo the softening job.
2. Chloride additives ruin the rubber and corrode the metal.
Therefore, ordinary types of transmission additives should not be used. Solventbased transmission additives remove the varnish from the transmission walls
and this varnish penetrates, gums up and clogs working parts, apertures and
channels through which the fluid must circulate to do its job. The gums created
by these ordinary transmission additives cause a lot more harm that good.
NO HARMFUL INGREDIENTS:
Omega 917 is a totally different type of product. It is a completely new type of
product developed by Omega scientists. In contains no harmful chlorides,

950
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 950 is an advanced, new Biocide Treatment specially developed for treating
water-based metalworking fluids in recirculating systems. Used regularly, Omega
950 can virtually eliminate the causatives of bad odor, change in viscosity, airborne
microorganism contamination and occupational dermatitis.
Most systems operate at slightly warmer than room temperature, and in moist or
vapour-saturated environments. The combination of warmth and water provides
ideal conditions for the formation and multiplication of bacterial, mold and fungal
growth.
Bacterial activity causes the water-based metalworking fluid to separate -with the oil
floating to the top and the water at the bottom. The oil seals the water's access to
oxygen and promotes the growth and multiplication of anaerobic bacteria.
REDUCTION OF pH VALUE
The above two reactions in turn cause the metalworking fluid to lose its pH value,
leading to the formation of acidic constituents that attack metal surfaces. This
reduces the effectiveness of the cutting fluid until it becomes ineffective.

DERMATITIS PROBLEMS
Workers exposed to, or coming into incidental contact with the contaminated
metalworking fluids are easily infected by the microorganisms present. In addition,
by the very nature of the occupation, the fluid often carries metal chips, splinters or
spirals which are sharper than razor blades and can cause septic cuts, in addition
to rashes, red sores and abrasive skin damage.
Omega 950 also inhibits the growth of slime-forming organisms, such as pseudomonas spp, sulphate-reducing bacteria (SRB), algae, enterobacter aerogenes and
bacillus mycoides. It will also destroy Legionella pneumophila, causative of
Legionnaire's Disease.
SUPER USER-FRIENDLY:
Unlike ordinary treatments which are either highly acidic or highly alkaline, Omega
950 is safe to use and handle. It is readily-soluble in water and can be used in
conjunction with other water-based metalworking fluids that are protein or surfactant-based.

990
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 990 "Columbium" Octane Booster is a gasoline treatment designed to
enhance and restore "as-new" power output and "drive-ability" to all gasolinefueled engines, such as vehicles and equipment, power generators, outboard
motors, power saws, etc. Omega 990 "Columbium" achieves this by improving
engine combustion while, at the same time, reducing or eliminating pre-ignition
(also known as pinging or knocking).
WHY USE OMEGA 990 "COLUMBIUM":
Manufacturers of engines, in their quest for greater power output, without
increasing engine size, often design high compression ratio types. The
advantage of high compression types is more power for a given size ("more
bang for the buck"). High compression ratio engines however require higher
octane number gasoline to run properly.
Due to exigencies and aberrations of crude oil supply (from which gasoline and
other fuels are obtained) and the phasing out of lead anti-knocking agents, the
quality (and therefore octane rating) of the refined gasoline varies considerably.
For the higher octane gasoline, the suppliers assign a "premium" or "super" or
higher "star" rating (such as 4-star). For the lower octane gasoline, the "regular"
or "standard" or "2-or 3-star" rating is assigned.
In theory therefore, an engine of high compression ratio requires the higher
octane-rated gasoline, while the lower compression ratio engine runs
satisfactorily on low octane gasoline. That is the theory.
In actual, day-to-day situations however, as the operator of high compression
ratio engines well know, the performance and "driveability" of his vehicle tends
to noticeably deteriorate by the week, even when only the high-priced premium
gasoline of (presumably) high octane is purchased when filling up at the gas
(petrol) station.
This is because, in addition to normal wear and tear, the engine's compression
ratio is invisibly being increased in the combustion area due to carbon and other
deposits building up. The result is that the build-up of contaminates in the

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 991 Lead-Free Valve Protectant is engineered to protect engines
against exhaust valve seat wear that is increasingly prevalent in engines due to
the increasing popularity of low-lead or unleaded gasoline (petrol). Omega 991
is completely free of lead, but due to its innovative organic chemistry, provides
fully the protection of leaded gasoline to treated engines.
BACKGROUND TO LEAD CONTENT IN GASOLINE:
In the 1930's, engineers discovered that adding lead to gasoline was a low cost
means of increasing the octane level. By adding lead and making high octane
gasoline widely-available at an economical price, engineers were spurred on to
designing higher compression engines.
This, in turn increased engine power output and engine efficiency. Lead also
protects the exhaust valve seats. However, as the worldwide popularity and use
of vehicles multiplied over the ensuing decades, health authorities and
environmentalists discovered proof that the high lead content of exhaust
emissions was a serious health risk.
In 1985, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) introduced rules to
limit the lead content of leaded gasoline. Many other countries have since
followed suit and unleaded is the ultimate goal in many industrialized countries.
By January 1988, all gasoline suppliers had to limit the lead content to 0.1 gram
of lead per gallon and the EPA is considering a complete ban on the use of lead
in gasoline.
The effects of low-or no-lead gasolines on engines was considered as early as
1970, when auto manufacturers started using catalytic converters (which require
unleaded fuel to perform properly).
In numerous tests carried out on the effects of low or no-lead fuel, it was found
that exhaust valve seats in vehicles not designed to run on such fuels were
suffering from serious exhaust valve recession problems.
In controlled laboratory tests, engines with cast iron exhaust valve inserts
running on low lead gasoline suffered 0.0384" and 0.0644" valve seat recession
in 20 hours and 40 hours respectively. Should these engines have been run with

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 992 "Power Jet" is a Fuel Injection Booster which is added to both
gasoline and diesel cars through the fuel tank at fill-up, It is designed and
engineered to restore fuel injector efficiency rapidly so that "as new"
performance is attainable. In addition, Omega 992 helps control "vapour lock"
(water in the fuel system) which can cause hard-starting, rough idle and
sluggish throttle response.
An added benefit of Omega 992 is that, since the system is introduced through
the fuel tank, its special oxidation inhibitors will protect the tank, the fuel line, the
fuel pump, the injector itself and also all internal parts of the engine from the
onset of rust.
SOAKDOWN:
Although injectors are kept relatively cool during engine operation, the heat
"soakdown" on shutting/switching off forms deposits from the fuel on the nozzle
itself. These deposits impede and reduce the proper atomization of the fuel flow
into the engine cylinder which, in turn, causes loss of power, poor acceleration,
rough idling, hard starting and a host of other problems.
(* Heat soakdown occurs because, when an engine is switched off, the oil pump
-which circulates engine oil in and round engine parts -also ceases operating;
the cooling fan is switched off; and the engine coolant system (radiator) also is
no longer operating. Therefore, immediately an engine is switched off, the latent
engine heat "soaks" into the engine and, with no cooling aid, the temperature
temporarily increases dramatically before dissipating into the ambient
atmosphere).
CAUSE OF INJECTOR DEPOSITS:
The principle source of gasoline injector fouling is the fuel composition; the
fouling deposits are mainly gums and coke. This fuel composition effect is
attributed to olefins and diolefins in the fuel. These form deposits at
temperatures between 90-105C (162-221F) -the heat soakdown region!!! The
problem can occur, even in new cars, within the first 3,000 to 7,000 miles (4800

HOW OMEGA 998 WORKS:
There is a certain amount of condensation in every fuel storage system causing
the formation of moisture. A substantial amount of moisture is also present in
the fuel which is fed into an engine.
Omega 998 keeps the fuel tank dry and guarantees quick starts even in the
coldest winter. This product contains no cheap methanol but instead a waterabsorbing agent and an upper cylinder lubricant with synergistic compounds in a
base of lso Propynol alcohol.
The unique water-absorbing agent will absorb any water present in the fuel
system and remove it completely. It positively will not damage the fuel pump or
fuel system. The upper cylinder lubricant will aid in removing engine noises and
helps the engine operate smoothly. It releases sticky valves. Omega 998
causes water and fuel to mix together and the water actually becomes part of
the fuel.
BUILT-IN QUALITY:
Every ounce of Omega 998 is manufactured under strict laboratory control and
is thoroughly tested to ensure high standards of quality, performance and purity.
FUNCTIONS:
OPIM998-0
Version 1.0
Revision 1.0
Reference: RM
Moisture finds its way into every fuel system. In winter, this moisture will freeze
in the fuel line or parts, causing the vehicle to stall. In hot climates, and
especially in tropical climates, this moisture causes vapour-lock which will also
stall vehicles.
The solution to both fuel system freezing and to vapour-lock is to add Omega
998 to every tank of fuel, This product absorbs the moisture and causes the
water and fuel to mix, thereby protecting the entire quantity of fuel in the tank
and fuel system.
The fuel and water solution produces lower emissions, since the water acts as a
coolant and gives higher thermal efficiency. Winter or summer, Omega 998 will
keep the vehicle from stalling, either from vapour lock of a frozen fuel line.
DIRECTIONS:
To use Omega 998 could not be simpler. Just pour directly into the fuel tank.
Add 1 ounce Omega 998 to every gallon of fuel (60 ml. to each 10 litres of fuel.)

DIESEL FUEL PROBLEMS:
In cold climates or difficult arctic conditions, the "freezing" of diesel fuel tanks,
clogging of fuel filters and fuel lines make the starting and running of vehicles and
equipment difficult, and sometimes impossible. The root cause is that the "wax"
constituents in the diesel will actually crystallize and turn the fuel into a gel-like
substance which cannot be pumped and which clogs the fuel filter. Existing fuel in
the lines also "freeze" in place and makes starting virtually impossible.
The degree of crystallization of diesel fuel depends on the following factors, which
Omega 999 Fuel Flow Improver, is designed to combat:
Quantity of Wax in Diesel Fuel
Molecular Weight of the Wax
Fuel Hydrocarbon Balance
PROBLEM SOLVER:
Omega 999, when added to diesel fuel (either for vehicles, equipment or burner oil)
functions by chemically altering the crystal structure of the wax. It does not affect
the fuel itself in any detrimental way. Omega 999 inhibits the rigid lattice structures
which form the wax and that cause diesel at low temperature to separate into wax
and oil constituents. Omega 999, in effect, miniaturizes the crystals and prevents
them from adhering to form a mass.
OPIM999-0

(depending on the quality of diesel used). This test will soon be incorporated in
a CFPP Test internationally.
In Fluidity Test, Omega 999, when added to diesel fuel subjected to -30C,
achieved good results at levels between 180 to 270 ppm, again depending on
fuel quality.
APPLICATION:
As diesel fuel quality varies considerably from country to country, it is not
possible to give exact dosage rates. The recommended level of Omega 999 to
be added is between 400 to 800 parts million (ppm), which is equivalent to
between 40 ml and 80 ml per 100 litres of diesel.
NOTE:
Diesel fuel line blockage can occur at temperatures above the pour
point of the fuel, where sufficiently large wax crystals will clog the
lines. Once plugged, it is necessary to heat the wax crystals to bring
it back to solution form. Omega 999 will not treat fuel and lines where
wax crystals are already present.

Additional Guidelines
(1) Before applying an Omega grease over an existing grease, check
with this chart.
(2) Should the chemistry of the existing grease be unknown or where
there is doubt, consult with the International Service Centre first.
(3) Where an Omega grease is listed as "Borderline" or "Incompatible",
the part should be dismantled and thoroughly cleaned prior to the
application of the Omega grease.
(4) Although in cases where the Omega grease is listed as "Compatible"
and there should be no problems inherent with that application, the
