Background

In 1981 for the first time Pran started its operation as a processor of fruits and vegetable in
Bangladesh. Over the years, Pran has grown not only in dignity but also the country's overall
socio-economic development contributes significantly. At this time, Pran is one of the good
numbers of favorite food and beverages brand among the millions of people in Bangladesh. In
addition to, Pran is exporting their product outside the country as well. They are exporting their
product amongst 82 countries of the world at a regular basis. All their products of Pran, at every
stage of the production process are produced in accordance with the highest international
standards level. At present, Pran is producing more than 200 products under 10 different
categories which are Juices, Drinks, Mineral Water, Bakery, Carbonated Beverages, Snacks,
Culinary, Confectionery, Biscuits and Dairy. Finally, Pran has certified with HALAL product as
well as the best quality product at a national level and international level.

Product portfolio
Pran takes an extensive way to all forms of agro processed food products considering all of the
ways of ensuring hygienic and quality food products. In fact, Pran want to reach to the
customers level by manufacturing hygienic products. As a result they are carefully monitor their
production process like examining the quality of products in a laboratory, checking the
production instruments, monitoring their employees, checking the finished products and so on.
Pran is processing more than 200 products at national level and international level. Pran
categories their product under 10 different ways which are:
1. Juice: Pran collect the natural tasty fruits from the different local orchard and ensure the
freshness and quality of the juice which includes vitamins, mineral and other ingredients.
For the customers juice is differentiated by four types which are:

Juices in Hot Filled PET Bottle
Juices in Tin Can
2. Drinks: Pran drink is actually non carbonated flavored drinks for the customers which
contains vitamins and gives taste of fruit. It is basically provides to customers as a HDPE
Pack, PET Bottle, and Sachet & Paper Pack.

3. Mineral Water: Pure mineral water is also processing by Pran at a different bottle.
4. Bakery: For the customers Pran make different types of cakes like custard cake, layer
cake etc. as well as bread.
5. Carbonated Beverage: At present Pran producing carbonated soft drinks like cola, lime
& lemon, and also producing energy drinks which products are widely accepted in local
and international market.
6. Snacks: Pran snack foods are usually designed to be transferable, quick and enjoyable.
Pran snack foods are designed to be less perishable, more durable, and more attractive
than prepared foods. Pran producing fried snacks, pallet snacks, chutney and other
ethnics like Chira Laddu, Muri Moa, Chira Bhaja and Jahl Muri.
7. Culinary: Pran culinary foods has a exclusive form of sourcing and displaying
Bangladesh's best foods on a custom intended position in some of the best food shops.
Culinary includes spices, mix spices, pickle, sauce, ketchup, paste, jam & jelly, mustard
oil, dal, papadum, honey, noodles and others.
8. Confectionary: Pran has an absolute collection of confectionary products which fulfill
the kiddies and adults demands. Confectionary of Pran include chewing gum, lollipops,
candy, toffee, chocolate, fruit bar and edible jell.
9. Biscuit: Pran also make different types of biscuits like glucose biscuit, milkies biscuit,
elachi biscuit, orange biscuit, energy biscuit, toast biscuit, cracker biscuits, wafer and so
on.
10. Dairy: Pran collect raw milk from the farmers and process in dairy factory which make a
high energy yielding food product for the customers. Dairy products of Pran are liquid
milk, milk powder, milk drinks and milk allied products like ghee, cheese & milk based
drink.
