Job Description

Natera is currently seeking a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Manager that is
responsible for leading process improvement teams to improve operating efficiencies
of divisions across the company. Will work with front-line as well as division
management to implement lean six sigma principles through a common approach.
Duties include:

Applying advanced Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work
Cellular Flow, Pull Replenishment, Demand and Production smoothing, Mistake
Proofing, Total Productive Maintenance) to process improvement

Applying advanced Six Sigma principles (DMAIC approach, SIPOC, Process


Capability, Root Cause Analysis, Normal and Non-Normal data Statistical Analysis,
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments) to process
improvement

Contributing to the development and codification of standard Lean Six Sigma


methods and training materials

Coaching several teams, trained Black Belts and trained Green Belts through
Lean Six Sigma DMAIC and exercising considerable judgment in directing the
Green belts on the performance of their Lean Six Sigma projects

Delivering just-in-time training of six sigma tools and methodologies to Black


Belts, Green Belts, business teams and business leaders and participating in
classroom training as needed

Working closely with business leadership to develop key performance


measurements and reporting

Facilitating Black Belts, Green Belts and business teams through project
tollgate as well as governance reviews

Working with functional and cross functional business teams to identify


opportunities for improvement, gathering data, analyzing and developing
improvements and innovations, using statistical analyses, and preparing
presentations to communicate project status

Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least two years of work experience using Lean principles including Value
Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work Cellular Flow, Pull Replenishment, Demand
and Production smoothing, Mistake Proofing, Total Productive Maintenance
required

Six Sigma principles including DMAIC approach, SIPOC, Process required

At least 3 years of LSS experience preferred

At least 3 years of work experience using statistical analysis preferred

Capability, Root Cause Analysis, Normal and Non-Normal data Statistical


Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments experience
required

At least 2 years of work experience using statistical analysis required

Completion of multiple cross functional projects involving non-normal data


and design of experiments (DOE), using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC to complete
required

Apply advanced Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work

Proofing, Total Productive Maintenance) or advanced Six Sigma principles (DMAIC
approach, SIPOC, Process Capability, Root Cause Analysis, Normal and NonNormal data Statistical Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of
Experiments) to process improvement

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business Administration OR

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Business Administration and


5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in continuous
improvement

Advanced degree preferred

MBA is a bonus

Black Belt certification form an LSS training/certification vendor that includes


completion of a real-life project, formal in-class training, and exam required
