The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 109.85 points to 16,964.10. The Nasdaq Composite gave up 59.43 points to 4,648.82.
Benchmark U.S. crude fell $1.40 to $36.50 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The 10

Malakoffs associate in Algeria to appeal RM149mil fine


MALAKOFF CORPORATION BHDs associate company ALMIYAH ATTILEMCANIA SPA announced that it has been informed by the
solicitors of ALMIYAH ATTILEMCANIA SPA that the court of appeal of Tlemcen in the district of Tlemcen in Algeria has upheld the
decision by the lower court against ALMIYAH ATTILEMCANIA SPA whereby it has been imposed a penalty of DZD3,929.038mil or
approximately USD42.7 mil at the exchange rate of USD1= DZD92. However, ALMIYAH ATTILEMCANIA SPA has not re
received an
official notification from the Court in respect of the decision.
ALMIYAH ATTILEMCANIA SPA has been advised by its solicitors that the penalty will not be enforced against itself until the
exhaustion of all rights to appeal in respect of the Legal Proceedings. ALMIYAH ATTILEMCANIA SPA will file an application to
appeal against this decision to the Algerian Supreme Court once it receives an official notification from the Court in accordance
with the process of law. The penalty

GSB GROUP BHDs mutually agrees to terminate JJV for RM2.71mil


GSB GROUP BHDs wholly-owned
owned subsidiary GSB Summit Development S/B entered into a Termination and Settlement
Agreement with Projects Start S/B to mutually terminate the Joint Venture Agreement dated 29 June 2011 for a cash settlement
sum of RM2.710mil to cover an initial deposit, ptreliminary works carried out and compensation to the developer

Joint Venture Agreement, GSB Summit Development S/B and Projects Start S/B agreed to undertake a development on a piece
of land held under HS (D) 78438, PT 4067, Mukim Damansara, District of Petaling, State of Selangor. The land is a piece of
freehold land with a size of approximately 4,253 sq. m. with the category of land use as commercial building located in the
Kelana Jaya township which has recreational
nal parks, LRT station, golf course, international school, colleges and shopping mall.
With neither party having in any way breached the terms and conditions of the Joint Venture Agreement, the Owner and the
Developer are mutually desirous of terminating the Joint Venture Agreement, upon terms and subject to the conditions set out

Inari Amertron Bhd acquired 5.000mil ordinary shares in PCL TECHNOLOGIES INC, representing 9.70% equity interest for a cash
consideration of TWD355.0mil (RM44.5mil). The company also entered into the MOU with PCL with the intention to set up a
joint-venture entity in the Peoples Republic of China for purposes of providing outsourced semiconductor assembly and test
services to major customers in the Peoples Republic of China, with particular focus on front
front-end
end OSAT services, with the
common vision to list the JV in the Peoples Republic of China within 5 years.
PCL TECHNOLOGIES INC shall commence due diligence audit including but not limite

Inaris 100% owned subsidiary in the PRC - Amertron Technology (Kunshan) Co Limited after the signing of the MOU and shall
