Pem: Good afternoon. We are the group 2 of 8 St. Cecilia and we are about to
present the Agony in the Garden and the Arrest of Jesus. Sit back, relax and enjoy
the play. Thank you.
Scene 1
Pem: Now, as Jerusalem prepares to eat the sacrificial lamb according to the ritual, a
new lamb, the Son of God, is about to offer Himself in sacrifice.
Sam: We no longer question of whether this impostor is to be put to death.
Pat J: Everyone decided that he should die
Nice: But not during the feast
Jem: How can we capture him?
(Maica enters the scene)
Sam: Whats the matter Malchus?
Maica: Sir, Judas spoke with the high priest.
Sam: He who follows the Galilean? Send him to me.
(Maica left and asked Kian to come with her. They both enter the scene.)
Sam: Speak.
Kian: I can turn him over to you.
(Sam turns her head away then slowly turns it back.)
Sam: In return for what? We wont take him until the festival end.
Kian: Tomorrow, he will be in Jerusalem.
Sam: Hand him over to me for thirty silver pieces.
(Kian walks away. Others will follow her.)

Scene 2:
Pem: After supper on Thursday evening, Jesus and His apostles went to the Mount of
Olives. They stopped in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Guia: Friends, sit here while I go into the garden and pray. Peter, James and John,
please come with me.
(Guia, Haven, James (idk), John (idk) went to the garden while the others sat
somewhere)
Guia: I am lonely and would be pleased with your company. Remain here and watch
for me.
(The three sat and the Guia will kneel somewhere)
Guia: Father, if You are willing, take this cup away from Me. Nevertheless, not My
will, but Yours be done.
(The three apostles fell asleep. Jesus returns to them)
Guia: Peter, could you not watch an hour with me? Watch and pray that you enter
not into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
(Guia returns back and kneels)
Guia: My Father, if this cup may not pass away, then I must drink it. Thy will be
done.
(Guia and the apostles will stand up and the roman soldiers will enter the scene
together with Kian)
Pat J: The man that well arrest, how will recognize him from the others?
Kian: Whomever I shall kiss, that is he.
(They will meet halfway)
Kian: Rabbi!
(Kian will kiss Guia)
Guia: Friend, do what you have come for.
(Soldiers will seize Guia)
Haven: Youre not going to take Him!
(Haven will cut off the ear of Maica)
Guia: Stop! Put that sword down. No more of this!
(Guia will touch the ear of Maica)
Maica: (shocked) Thank you.
