Job Responsibilities
Sound knowledge of various research activities like developing theoretical framework, reliability and
validity of data, data analysis techniques etc.
To record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a safe and accessible way
Participate in the development and review of Scope of Works for monitoring assignments, evaluations and
special studies in accordance with Various Donors M&E Policy and standards.
Develop scope document for consultants, and work with the Human Resources team to identify, interview
and select suitable short-term team members.
Assist in the development of data collection plans, data collection instruments and schedules;
Conduct primary data collection, including interviews, surveys, and focus groups.
Analyze the field data as required, and develop draft M&E reports in English for submission to donor.
Work with projects Senior Management, and Evaluation, Monitoring staff to respond to donors needs
and priorities.
Write thematic briefs, learning summaries, newsletters and other brief documents to effectively
communicate projects technical work and promote learning.
Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet
specifications.
Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
Design comparative statement depending upon the various key areas among various suppliers quotation
Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide
information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors.
Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries,
and other problems.
Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather
information about products to be ordered. Train and supervise subordinates and other staff.
Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training,
grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
Preparation of pay-roll.
Entertain queries.
Implement policies set in place throughout READ Foundation under supervision of respective
supervisors.
To work closely and support respective supervisors ensuring over all fluency of HCM department.
Ensure complete overall performance appraisals are received and presented to respective supervisor in a
timely manner.
Ensure training schedules of other departments are received on time and as per schedule.
Co-ordinate the development of externally funded projects, and take responsibility for the day to day
management of emerging specific sub-projects
Design and segregate the responsibilities of work assigned to various stakeholder
Communicate the task, role and responsibilities to the field staff and guide them how and who will do
what
Work with funding bodies and corporate sponsors Government Offices, International as well as local
donor agencies, private businesses as appropriate
Prepare regular financial and performance target information as required, and monitor achievement
against targets
Support the Project Monitoring Officer and Accounts Administrator in preparing performance reports and
funding claims to the funding body in accordance with the terms and conditions of the application
Deal with correspondence, telephone calls and meetings with individual project managers/the
public/developers/agents and other partner organizations
Maintain records and systems for all aspects of the projects, including budget management, and ensure
compliance with relevant project terms and conditions
Provide support and guidance to other organizations, stakeholders and partners as appropriate, to ensure
compliance and achievement of targets
Arrange meetings, events and activities relating to the projects, including the project task group, and
attend meetings as appropriate
Provides administrative and technical support to ensure smooth attainment of the programs goals and
objective
Maintains liaison with government and private agencies which are proponents of projects to facilitate
consideration and implementation of proposals
Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; studying requests for
proposal (RFPs); attending strategy meetings.
Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing,
review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors;
contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.
Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability,
consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases.
Obtains approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and project managers.
Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and
boilerplate; implementing changes.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Develop fundraising activity plans that maximize participation or contributions and minimize costs.
Ensure accomplishment and management of job specifications of ODR (Outreach and Donor Relations).
Closely coordinate, updates, collaborates, communicates, reports, and seeks approval of the departmental
authority for all important matters and assignments.
Arrange visits, briefings, social functions for donors and field staff on need basis.
Communicate and coordinate with international and national donor agencies for soliciting funds.
Prepare project proposals, concept papers, estimates, feedback for donors; annual and periodical
performance reports for READ; prepares annual budget and annual plan, distributes task-oriented targets
to each team member and ensures productivity.
Monitor and ensures timely and well-coordinated implementation of all relief and development projects,
sponsorships and disbursements.
Establish fundraising goals and launches fundraising drives for addressing the financial needs of the
READ Foundation.
Identify and attracts potential contributors for soliciting funds for different projects.
Prepare a comprehensive list of corporate donors in and outside Pakistan for funding solicitation.
Research, communicate and coordinate public and private grant agencies and donor organizations to
identify and solicit funding for educational development.
