Arseus Lab opens Novux Technology Center, powered by Datron


Waregem, 22 March 2016 - On February fourth Arseus Lab Novux celebrated the
opening of the Technology Center, powered by Datron, in the company of Dominique
Deschietere, CEO of Arseus Lab, Michael Daniel, Chief Financial Officer of Datron, the
Novux Product Specialists and Management of Arseus Lab team.
The Novux Technology Center is a training center that is part of the overall concept Novux.
In this digital environment technicians are familiarized with dental laboratories in the
digital world. Arseus Lab focuses not only to novice labs with Novux are also encouraged
digital labs to go a step further in this rapidly evolving technology and to follow along with
the progress. In addition to a training center, the Novux Technology Center is also a
showroom where the latest innovations are presented.
With the opening of this new Novux Technology Center, Arseus Lab also communicates the
exclusive distribution of Datron appliances in Benelux and France. The Novux product
specialists team is fully trained to assist dental technicians in their search for the ideal
Datron configuration.
The new Novux Technology Center is also integrated the Datron D5. This milling machine
has a fully automatic changer 8 blocks and 15 instruments. It allows the phone can be
both soft materials, such as zirconium oxide, wax, plastic as well as the hard materials,
such as titanium and chromium-cobalt milling. The Datron D5 was specially designed for
the milling of complex dental structures and shapes. Thus, full crowns and caps are
machined and even bridges. This distinguishes the device from the competition on the
market. The Datron D5 is to carry out the ideal device that the dental labs offers the
possibility, titanium-implant production house itself.
The semi-industrial unit works with WorkNC CAM software. This is the first automatic CNC
software for surface and solid models in mold and model respective mold structures for
CNC programming with 3 or 5 axes. The software has several automatic toolpaths
depending on the intended use, such as roughing, finishing, optimizing, contours, editing
arcs, and so on. It is therefore the ideal machine to produce the bulk of the dental work in
house.
