MultiSite Monitor Team
This document is a record or history database that describes what's new in the latest
and previous versions of this program.
MultiSite Monitor is a Web server-based database application designed for
communication with Elteks power systems around the world. The application analyses
the systems energy usage, and enables direct configuration of the individual sites to
optimize the systems green-energy performance.
Installation
Computers Requirements
Minimum:
Server Hardware:
Intel Dual XEON 64bit - 1.8 GHz CPU, 4.0 GB RAM memory, 100GB free hard disc
space, 1024x768 16 bit color display.
Server Software:
MS Windows 2008 Server operating system, MS IIS 7.0, ASP4.0.NET and SQL
Express Database.
Client Hardware:
Computer 800MHz CPU, 512MB RAM memory, 1GB free hard disc space, a
1024x768 16 bit color display.
Client Software:
MS Windows XP operating system and Silverlight plug-in application in the client
computers Web browser
Recommended:
Server Hardware:
Intel Quad 64Bit - 2.4 GHz CPU, 8 GB RAM memory, 100 GB free hard disc space,
1280x1024 32 bit color display.
Server Software:
MS Windows 2008 Server R2 operating system, MS IIS 7.5, ASP4.0.NET and SQL
Express Database.
Client Hardware:
Computer 1.8 GHz CPU, 2.5 GB RAM memory, 1GB free hard disc space, a
1024x768 32 bit color display.
Client Software:
MS Windows 7 operating system and Silverlight plug-in application in the client

Communication with the Controllers:
HTTP-JSON protocol on TCP Port 80 or Port 443 (SSL) for secure communication.
SNMP Alarm traps: UDP Port 162 and Port 161
Sites Network Bandwidth and Speed:
Minimum required bandwidth: 15 KB/s (no dial-up).
Transport layer: TCP Port 80 or Port 443 (SSL) for secure communication.
Maximum response time: 700 ms

Installation Procedure:
To achieve a more efficient implementation, we recommend that the MultiSite Monitors
installation in the customers network is performed by an Eltek engineer.
Also, refer to the Installation Procedures for Windows Server 2008 R2 (doc. 2114194),
and for Windows server 2012 R2 (doc. 2169251).
