Dunlop Conveyor Belting - Value for money guaranteed

Trioflex has been designed in accordance with the latest
MPC-trend (minimum ply concept) and can therefore be used very
successfully for medium up to the heaviest service conditions,
adverse loading conditions and coarse materials.
Regardless of the tensile strength, its tried and tested 3 - ply carcass
construction consists of extremely strong EP fabric plies with an
extra tough, highly resilient rubber layer between the plies. This
provides an outstanding level of resistance to impact. EP fabrics
are impervious to moisture and have particularly low elongation
characteristics, providing a multifunctional solution for a wide
variety of applications.
The highly versatile Trioflex belt provides superb reliability and
durability in a wide cross-section of industries, including the steel
industry, blast furnaces, mining and coke industry, ore transport,
stone industry and processing industries. This belt is available from
stock using the Dunlop RS (high wear resistance) cover quality.
Other cover qualities are available on request.

* Diameter for belt-loads from 60% up to 100%.

For lower loads a smaller diameter can also be suitable.

Explanation:
To determine the total belt thickness
(excluding fire resistant belts):
Add the sum of the covers to the carcass thickness.

** The load support of a belt is a factor of the belt width, belt strength and bulk
material density. The table indicates the limits for correct load support, based
on three idlers of the same length set at 30.

To determine the belt-weight

(excluding fire resistant belts for which other weights apply):
Multiply the sum of the covers by 1.15 and add the result to the
carcass weight.

Technical features
Application area

SBR
NR/SBR
NR

High abrasion resistance for normal service conditions.

Extra wear resistance to meet the demands of conveying highly abrasive materials.
Excellent resistance to cuts, impact, abrasion and gouging resulting from large
lump sizes of heavy, sharp materials and high drop heights.
SBR
Heat resistant for materials at moderate temperatures.
IIR
Increased heat resistant for materials at controlled high temperatures.
EPDM
Superior heat resistant for heavy duty service conditions, up to 400C for a short
period (coke, clinker etc.)
SBR/NBR Oil and fat resistant for most products with animal and vegetable oils and fats.
NBR
Oil and fat resistant for products containing mineral oils.
SBR
Fire resistant for the transport of inflammable and explosive materials such as coal
dust etc. According to EN 20340.
SBR/NBR Same features as ROM and also fire resistant. According to EN 20340.
NBR
Same features as ROS and also fire resistant. According to EN 20340.

** In some cases (with products containing high

concentrations of animal and vegetable oils)
ROS should be selected.

*** K = fire resistant with covers.

S = fire-resistant with or without covers.
