IES ISS Exam Pattern Syllabus 2016 The examination for the Indian Economic
Service and the Indian Statistical Service 2016 have been scheduled for the month of
May 2016. Candidates appearing for this exam must have already started the
preparation for the exam. While preparing, what holds importance is having the
complete knowledge of the IES ISS Exam Pattern Syllabus 2016 that is to be followed

IES ISS Syllabus 2016


English:
Candidates will be required to write an essay in English. Other questions will be
designed to test their understanding of English and workmanlike use of words.
Passages will usually be set for summary or precise.
General Studies:

Knowledge of current events and matters of everyday observation

Experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person


who has not made a special study of any scientific subject.

Indian Polity including the political system and the Constitution of India.
