The RF-7800T SAVR is a portable, handheld ISR Video Receiver designed for the
dismounted warfighter, yet versatile enough for vehicular and TOC-based applications.
Analog and digitally enabled, the SAVR receives over 95% of fielded downlinks from
manned and unmanned secure air assets including Ravens, Shadows, Predators, and
C-130 gunships. JTRS compliant SCA 2.2 operating environment allows the SAVR to
track emerging Digital Data Link (DDL) and encryption standards through software-only
upgrades.
In addition to acting as a standalone, handheld video receiver, the SAVR can be
integrated with the Harris Tablet RF-3590-RT and other Harris networking radios such
as the AN/PRC-152A and the AN/PRC-117G to inject streaming video into a tactical
MANET, providing others on the network access to video downlinks.
The SAVR can be used with a variety of antenna and display solutions based on user
preference and comfort, including helmet-worn and goggle-worn displays as well as
laptop computers.
