ABSTRACT
This business sharing session had been done with Yus Bianco Pizza owner which is
Mr. Yusoff. This session had teach us the value and ways of starting a business. In the
business sharing session, we learnt about the background of the entrepreneur, history
of the business, the challenges he faces while doing the business, her support
services, her business and personal achievements and her future plans. He also
shared with us how her wife been the most important thing in business that has been
supporting him while faced up challenges in business. Advices was also given on
how to be a new entrepreneur/successful businessman.
1.1 Background
His business experience since his university period, but interest in this
business since he was a kid. After graduate, many businesses and works he did, such
as be a teacher, helping his dad in lighting protection services as a salesman, joined
Multi-Level Marketing, involved in the field of transportation and work at the
factory. In 2010, he started to build a name and pizza restaurant, Yuss Bianco Pizza
in Nusa Bestari. He and his wife as business partner hired a Italian Chef to be a part
of this business. In that time, they learn and doing some research and development in
order to make pizza sauce in line with local tastes. He started the business by
hundreds of thousands to open this restaurant, and borrow from TEKUN to buy some
equipment.
Due to some problems, such as no profit and more to loss in term of money
and equipment, he closed and stopped his business. But in the same time, his wife
always give support and advices, not to lost courage and convinced him to open a
new restaurant. Now, Yuss Bianco is still standing and run successful, two branches
already registered GST that means the income exceeds RM500k per year.
He always learn and realize that, mostly of his friends in engineering field
turns the job to be an entrepreneur, by selling scarves and clothes. The only reason
they stop because they dont have a life that mean no time with family and others.
The time is limited and not flexible to do what interest to us. Be a entrepreneur, he
can arrange a time for the holiday and it different compared to permanent workers,
work under boss. He was 37 years old, and its late for him to that kind of business,
because before this it hard to find a people who a willing and meet anyone who can
help him but now it easy to find.
Besides that, he usually learn on his bad experience, check and improve his
weaknesses. Many Malay entrepreneur failed to run their business, not fail due to
business problems but lack of financial management. He recommend us to join and
enter the training, seminar and classes to gain new knowledge about entrepreneur.

Knowledge is important, because without knowledge we will fail and fall when
doing a business. Proper business plan, financial management, strategic and ideas for
the upcoming days are some of the basic knowledge need to be prepared well. No
product? It is does not matter, as long as we know ourselves to be entrepreneurs.
Keep praying and plan, and Insyallah, Allah know the best of us.
1.3 Challenges
1.3.1 Surrounding and Trending.
In the early business, he close his pizza business because he incur loss
due to different surrounding and trending. Pizza and burger business are
different business. Pizza business want a side dish pizza and drinks even can
eat and sit. So, he overcome this problem by getting a caf which is Yuss
Bianco Pizza and serve same as Dominos and Pizza Hut restaurant.
1.3.2 Marketing.
Before this he works as a designer such as creating banner, flyer and
so on but at some level no increased revenue. So then, he turned to
advertising on Facebook and he see the results increased. Facebook is the best
way to advertise a business, but it also can produce a bad effects. For
example, if we did something wrong and bad services, a lot of complaining
going on Facebook and people keep scrolling and cause poor perception
among customers.
1.3.3 Training.
The challenge is to manage workers. As an example on how we
educate employees in order to maintain services and products whether we are
here (workplace) or not. This is based on the attitude of the workers
themselves, and take a time to get back in track.
So we need to train them to be a good people, as well as we need to
show our responsibility and leadership on how we deal with workers and our
attitude itself. If we show bad attitude, they will do bad things and never
respect you as a boss.
1.3.4 Production.
For this time, he make his own sauce, bread and so on, so there is no
problem in terms of quality of the pizza. He bought ingredients and other
stuffs in high quality and cooked with nutrients and hygienic conditions.
In addition, the workers should be train while in the production of
pizza, on how the product is to be stored and so on.
1.3.5 Financing.
He dont have any system that he can control the kitchen and cash
flow. He want to build a new systems and technologies, it need to invest huge
capital of RM6000 more. Before this, he used plate and dish to serve pizza,
income in and at last too many loses and short in term of dish and money,
because his workers lie. But now he change to use a packaging.
Financial support is a must for expanding the branches. A good
system and technologies is good for the entrepreneur to control and know the
trending of before, now and after the productions.
improve his standard operation and procedure (SOP) in produce all of his
dishes to ensure the quality offered to the customer constantly handled.
1.5 Achievement
After few years in doing this business, he manage to gain lots of profit. He
manage to get RM 500k per month. The great part of achievement that Mr Yusof gain
is the experience. He said the experience on doing the business was a biggest
achievement that he get. This is because from the experience such as he was
unsuccessful for the previous business and almost to stop to become an entrepreneur
again, but he brave himself for this Biancco Pizza and its successful. He said the
experience will make you stronger, creative and also durable.
Futhermore, there are try to open branch along peninsular malaysia as their strategy
to become big player in pizza franchise in Malaysia.

1.7.2 Be innovative
We learnt that innovative is one of important trait to become an
entrepreneur. For example, Mr Yusof realised that his previous pizza business
with Italians taste was not attract lot of customers. This because most of
Malaysian love the east style taste. So, he decided to make the pizza sauce
based on Malaysians taste. He and wife did some research and development
of his sauce almost a year. Finally, they found their secret recipe for the
sauce.
1.7.3 Variant
In food business we cannot stick on one menu. For example, Mr Yusof
added the side dish menu such as chicken chop, lamb grill chop and spaghetti.
