The teaching plan will be worth 10% of your final grade.

Your task is to create a teaching plan relevant to a patient who has a learning need
(educational requirement) to achieve their health care goals. For example, if you
choose hyperglycemia as your topic, you will develop a teaching plan for a pretend
patient who has an educational deficit related to this topic (i.e. insulin, diet,
exercise, etc). Please choose from one of the following topics:
Diabetes
Cardiovascular disease
Depression
Postpartum depression
Asthma
Bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
Each student is to work on this alone. Marks will be removed from the teaching plan
if students are found to contain the same or very similar information. It is for this
reason that it should be worked on individually.
