LENT
AND THE YEAR OF MERCY
Walking to Jerusalem
WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!!
This year during Lent the children in our primary schools have been walking to Jerusalem! They
havent physically walked it there of course, but through acts of
kindness etc they have been adding up the miles and through all
their efforts and the help of parishioners and some of the students at
Holy Cross Sixth Form College, they have reached Jerusalem and
made it back home as well!) - so many acts of kindness done by
everyone! A very big thank you to everyone who have help the children.
As we all now know, the distance from Bury to Jerusalem
is 2303 miles.
