Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ

The Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) PSC block in the Java
Sea covers 8,300 square kilometers - from the north of
Cirebon to the Thousand Islands. Pertamina Hulu Energi
ONWJ (PHE ONWJ) has operated the ONWJ block since it
changed ownership from BP to Pertamina in July 2009.
PHE ONWJ is a major supplier of gas to the state-owned
electricity company, PLN to generate power in Muara
Karang and Tanjung Priok, which produces electricity for the
Jakarta area. ONWJ also supplies gas to the state-owned
gas company PGN and Pupuk Kujang in Cikampek.

PHE ONWJs total oil production has reached

40 MBOPD and 190 BBTUD for gas*.
This increase in oil production after the divestment is
the result of successful efforts to improve the reliability
and security of the facilities operations.

The Program
PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) provides opportunities for
students & fresh graduates to participate in the Internship Program, which provides students
with practical work, thesis research and apprenticeships.

Practical Work (Kerja Praktek)

A 1-month program to support students who need to have practical work experiences
in accordance with their academic requirements.

Thesis Research (Tugas Akhir)

A 2-month program for student to conduct research on certain topic for their final
report / thesis as required to complete their degree.

Apprenticeship (Magang)
A 3-month program for those who just graduated wants to get real work experience
through specific job assignment.

General Requirements
Min GPA 2.75 of 4.00

Complete SKS min. 75% for PW and 90% for TR

TOEFL/EPT min. 480

Applications may be submitted in groups with max.
