LightWorker Series

Channelling by Dr. Joshua David Stone

Manual by Jens Seborg

Seven Rays Initiation (LightWorker Series)

This initiation is one of the many, channelled by Dr. Joshua David Stone, shown on the picture
to the right. They are from a numbered list of 303 initiations. We have
sorted them differently, but we have kept the number as well, but
skipped the "The" in front of all names. Dr. Stone is giving them free as
true gifts from our eternal and infinite Spirit, coming directly from the
Absolute Source of Divine Light and Divine Love.
We will do simple manuals to them when we have time, mainly with
material from Wikipedia. And remember they are all free of any charge
and obligation. You are free to copy and pass on. We will send copies
to Dr. Joshua David Stone, and if you translate, then please pass a
copy to both of us: drstone@best.com and enseikoshiro@yahoo.com.

Reciving the Initiation

Start with Gassho (prayer posture). Meditate on the light and love energies around you, above
you and inside of you. Ask the help of your higher self and others of your helpers such as the
mighty I AM Presence, the angels and archangels, masters and mahatma guides of meditation,
ascension and initiation. Accept receiving the initiation from your teacher. Sense the energies!
Enjoy! Expand! Relax...
If you receive more than one initiation, then please remember to take deep breaths in-between
initiations.

Passing on the Initiation

To Pass the Initiations to others do the same process as above. Just intend to pass them and
read them out loud waiting for a few moments in-between initiations sensing the energies
running and the spiritual shifts. Trust in the Higher Wisdom and Power. Enjoy! Expand! Relax...

The Seven Rays

Partly from From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Originally presented by H. P. Blavatsky in the nineteenth century,
the Seven Rays is a metaphysical concept that is used within
Theosophy and further developed by C. W. Leadbeater, Alice Bailey,
Helena Roerich, Manly P. Hall, and many others in Theosophy
based organizations such as Agni Yoga, The "I AM" Activity, The
Bridge to Freedom, The Summit Lighthouse, Share International,
The Temple of The Presence, and various other organizations.
The "Seven Rays" are seven major types of Light-Substance
(spirit/matter) (wave/particle) that composes the created universes.

According to Alice A. Bailey, each person has a "soul ray" that remains the same through all
their incarnations, and a "personality ray" that is different for each incarnation. Each ray is also
governed by one of the Ascended masters ("Cosmic Masters of the Ancient Wisdom"). AAB
stated the Seven Rays locally originate within the "Solar Logos", i.e., the consciousness of the
Sun, and are regarded by Benjamin Creme as being focused to the Solar Logos from the
"Galactic Logos" (the consciousness of the Milky Way Galaxy), and having their ultimate origin
within the mind of God.
On the local planetary level, it is believed by those adherent to the Theosophical tradition that
the Seven Rays are focused from the Solar Logos through the god of our planet, Sanat Kumara,
to the "Cosmic Masters of the Ancient Wisdom" (also called the Ascended Masters or Great
White Brotherhood) and from them to us, according to what ray we are on.
Our characters are dependent on many different influences, so the following information on
'typical' ray subjects is only intended as a basic guide.

Our explanation of the Seven Cosmic Rays

There are differing philosophies on the rays, this is one of them.
Seven great energies or streams of force demonstrate the qualities of Deity.
The Wisdom Teachings speak of them as the Seven Rays and they are
dominant conditioning and qualifying factors in our lives. But not only this;
they are, we understand, cosmic elements, reaching us from the unknown
spheres of other systems, and no part of the life of our planet is unaffected by
them.
In the same way as the seven colours are parts of the spectrum and the seven notes are tones of
the octave, so these Rays are differentiations or qualities of the one divine Emanation. In some
of the eastern teachings they are called the seven breaths giving life to all forms, and they have
been referred to in various ways in different philosophies. It is these great "Energies" that St
John called symbolically "the Seven Spirits before the throne of God."
The Seven Rays, each carrying particular qualities and tendencies, are responsible for the
different psychological types. Several Rays will probably influence us, but one usually
predominates and gives the main colouring to our character. There is a connection here with
astrology ... the astrological influences carry these same streams of energy and our alignment
with particular Signs puts us more directly in touch with these qualities.
The following summary only gives a very brief idea of each Ray, but serves to indicate their
different types of influence.

1 - First Ray - Energy of Will and Power - Blue

Description: Purpose, positivity and leadership are the outstanding qualities of
this Ray. It carries great strength and driving force, in fact it is sometimes called
the Destroyer. It is the Ray of the ruler and is particularly related to the field of
Government. Those who initiate undertakings and are found in positions of power
are especially aligned with this type of energy.
First Ray persons are motivated by their will and have lots of energy and drive. But this very
active force needs creative outlets otherwise it may degenerate into lust or violence. Basically
egocentric and often showy, such subjects are very original, but their natural instinct to rush
things sometimes leads to a lack of care. They are stern and sometimes severe, but also fairminded, paternal, gentle, loving, kind and capable of compassion. Such subjects need to be the
dominant partner and, although independent, occasionally need someone to react upon. They
tend to have sudden and stunning effects on others, and their will-power is strong enough to
force those around them to do what they demand without question.

Main Aspects: Destruction, power, purpose, will,

Virtues: Ability of handling men and measures, capacity to grasp life's great questions,
courage, fearlessness, power of ruling, steadfastness, strength, truthfulness.
Vices: Ambition, anger, arrogance, desire to control others, hardness, obstinacy, pride,
wilfulness.
To be acquired: Humility, patience, sympathy, tenderness, tolerance.

2 - Second Ray Energy of Love &Wisdom Yellow

Decription: This Ray embodies the building and relating qualities and is the
blending and inclusive energy that leads to true understanding. Its strength is
through persistence and it radiates the spirit of relationship and the attractive
quality of Love. On this Ray are found the lovers of Truth and those who seek the
path of Wisdom; the Teachers, Healers and Philosophers are the exponents of its
magnetic energy.
Secons Ray subjects are motivated by their emotions stemming from a desire to raise themselves
to the heights, so that they can enjoy a unifying relationship with their Maker. They exemplify
the passive, feminine quality that is in direct opposition to the positive, masculine assertion of
the first ray subjects. They are strongly attracted to all things, whether people or concepts, that
they feel are above them. Consequently, they often use love, the strongest human emotion, in
their efforts at drawing themselves upwards. But wisdom is very important to these subjects
also, so awareness or consciousness is a necessity in their relationships. Therefore, they usually
play the more passive role. They are affectionate, friendly, kind, quiet, and often endowed with
an attractive appearance and disposition.
Main Aspects: Coherence, inclusiveness, love, magnetism, wisdom,
Virtues: Calmness, clear intelligence, endurance, faithfulness, intuition, love of truth, patience,
serene temper, strength.
Vices: Coldness, contempt of mental limitations in others, indifference to others, overabsorption in study,
To be acquired: Compassion, energy, love, unselfishness.

3 - Third Ray - Energy of Active Intelligence Pink

Decription: This energy carries an underlying impulse towards both mental and
physical activity. A clear intellect and an ability to plan are its characteristics and a
capacity for abstract thinking and intelligent organising are this Ray's especial gifts.
Its influence works particularly through economics and industry.
The mind or intellect motivates these people. They can give form to ideas and transform them
into concepts. The first two rays deal with the intangible, but a third ray subject will resolve such
abstractions into tangible realities. Practical in all things, with a good aesthetic appreciation of
quality, they consider intelligence a virtue and manifestation a necessity. They are good at
discriminating and formulating their own opinions, hold things connected with the senses in
high regard, and they have keen perceptions. Happiness is important to these people, whether
through the ordinary pursuits of pleasure or education and knowledge. They like doing things
with others, enjoy discussion and deliberation, sport, games and art. Because of a deep urge for
outside stimulation, such folk need the company of others similar to themselves and, as they are
very tactful and diplomatic, they make good advisers and organisers.
Main Aspects: Active intelligence, adaptability, creativity
Virtues: Absence of tendency to worry, capacity for concentration in studies, caution, clear
intellect, patience, sincerity of purpose, wide views on abstract questions.
Vices: Absent-mindedness, coldness, inaccuracy in details, intellectual pride, isolation,
obstinacy, overmuch criticism of others, selfishness.
To be acquired: Accuracy, common sense, devotion, energy, sympathy, tolerance.

4 - Fourth Ray Energy of Beauty & Harmony White

Decription: This is the Ray of beauty, art, and creative expression in all forms. It is
the energy which, through conflict, brings order out of confusion, harmony out of
discord, unity out of diversity. It finds its expression particularly in the cultural field,
but it also has great influence upon humanity as a whole, and brings about the
achievement through struggle by which we evolve.
Forth Ray subjects are motivated by a deep sense of harmony in all things. They act as the link
between the separateness of things, creating unity and making all things equal by bridging
apparent barriers. This harmonising effect comes from the inside, acting outwards, and is
therefore totally selfless. Consequently, such subjects are opposed to selfishness and hold true
brotherhood of man as their highest ideal. They are adept at co-ordinating various projects and,
being able to see a common denominator in opposing people or ideals, have a good
understanding of these paradoxes. Although they can take pleasure from this ability to see
things from another's point of view, it can also lead to painful and disturbing experiences. They
enjoy become involved with a lot of people, but are very aware of how others see them; this leads
them to give only what they receive. These folk are easygoing, preferring to give way rather than
upset a peaceful atmosphere.
Main Aspects: Harmony through conflict, beauty, sensitivity, unity
Virtues: Affectionate, courage, devotion, generosity, quickness in intellect and perception,
sympathy.
Vices: Extravagance, inaccuracy, indolence, lack of moral courage, self-centredness, strong
passions, worrying.
To be acquired: Accuracy, confidence, mental and moral balance, purity, self-control,
serenity, unselfishness.

5 - Fifth Ray - Energy of Knowledge & Science Green

Decription: This Ray is pre-eminently that of mind, critical ability and research.
It is the Ray of the keen and enquiring intellect that demands great accuracy and
gives much attention to detail. Within this stream are found those working in all
the different branches of science.
Fifth Ray folks are motivated by a strong yearning to discover the ultimate truth, a goal they
continually pursue. Because they use every part of themselves in this quest they may appear cold
and unemotional. Errors which another would ignore are noticed by these folk whose emotions
are channelled into the uplifting spiritual pursuit for higher truth. Their interest in searching
out the truth gives such subjects the inquisitiveness to find answers to everything. They must
know how things work and how things are in precise detail and, being naturally meticulous, they
expect absolute perfection in everything. Associates, social or otherwise, are firmly placed in
their correct positions, and great value is laid on correct methods and manners. Such folk are
always prepared well in advance for any eventuality. And, in their personal affairs, are good at
holding a stable, objective viewpoint in any situation which may arise.
Main Aspects: Analysis, concrete knowledge, mind, science, study
Virtues: Accurate statements, common sense, independence, justice, keen intellect, perseverance, uprightness.
Vices: Arrogance, harsh criticism, lack of sympathy and reverence, narrowness, prejudice,
unforgiving.
To be acquired: Devotion, love, reverence, sympathy, wide-mindedness.

6 - Sixth Ray - Energy of Devotion & Idealism Red

Decription: Dedication and fanatical altruism are the main impulses of this Ray.
It carries a militant one-pointedness and intensity, and further characteristics are
devotion and a spirit of service. It is the Ray of the crusader and the idealist and is
the great force within Religion.
Sixth Ray energy people are motivated by a deep and intense devotion to high ideals,
accompanied by a longing for absorption into eternal bliss. Intensely emotional, they act mainly
on faith which they trust far more than logic. They are very persistent and cannot be deterred
from following their own path and any kind of sacrifice is seen only as a steppingstone towards
their aspirations. Deep involvement, loss of self-identity and single-minded idealism keep them
solidly fixed on far distant goals. Unfortunately, they may appear gullible and meek to others
and often suffer as a result. They are devoted and loyal to their friends, easily become
emotionally involved in relationships and are quite often hurt. Consequently, such subjects
sometimes assume a brash facade which barely covers their inner lack of peace and security.
Main Aspects: Adherence, devotion, force, idealism,
Virtues: Devotion, intuition, love, loyalty, reverence, single-mindedness, tenderness.
Vices: Fiery anger, over-leaning on others, over-rapid conclusions, partiality, prejudice,
sectarianism, self deception, selfish and jealous love, superstition.
To be acquired: Balance, common sense, purity, self-sacrifice, serenity, strength, tolerance,
truth.

7 - Seventh Ray - Order & Ritual Violet

Decription: This is the Ray who links spirit and matter and it works through law,
organisation and ritual. Those under its impulse delight in order and perfection of
form. Since it is concerned with the concretising of energy, finance comes within its
province, as well as all ceremonial activity.
A need to materialise on earth all that exists above, by making realities out of other men's
dreams, motivates these subjects. Therefore, they act as they think, feel and will. They are
extremely aware of the separateness of each thing, and function naturally as a complete, selfsufficient unity. This makes them very independent and earthy with the capacity to do without
other people entirely. This independence, unlike the first ray subject's freedom from
restrictions, indicates complete attachment to material surroundings. Through their unity of
being and detachment from others they can become self-centred and find it difficult not to use
other people for their own purposes. They are materially minded and sow seeds solely that they
can gather the fruit - always expecting a return from their investment and favours. These
subjects have to be the dominant in their relationships with others and may develop a tendency
to treat everybody as either possessions or servants.
Main Aspects: Ceremony, group work, magic, order, organisation, transformation.
Virtues: Courage, courtesy, extreme care in details, perseverance, self-reliance, strength.
Vices: Bigotry, formalism, narrowness, pride, self-opinion over-indulged, superficial judgements.
To be acquired: Gentleness, humility, love, realisation of unity, tolerance, wide-mindedness.
