Compilation 2003 by Galen Currah. May be freely copied.

Compiled from The Greatest Life Ever Lived, by Cheny and Ellisen, 1999 edition by Meltebeke
and Meltebeke (the four Gospels blended, adding nothing, omitting nothing.)
Many commands of Jesus are quite direct, grammatical imperatives; these are indicated
by (D). Others are more indirect, including purpose clauses; these are indicated by ( I ).
Many commands of Jesus are general ones, applicable to all his followers; these are
indicated by (G). Others are more specific, directed towards persons living at the time of Jesus;
these are indicated by (S).

Command
Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.
Fill the jars. Draw some out take.
Make not my Fathers house a market.
Worship God in spirit and in truth.
Do the will of him who sent me and accomplish his work.
See the fields. They are already ripe for harvest.
Repent and believe the Good News.
Come and follow me.
Let us go to the other towns nearby preach there, too.
Move out to the deep water, and let down your nets for a
catch.
Be not afraid.
Take heart your sins are forgiven.
Follow me.
You ought to go learn what this means: I desire mercy, not
sacrifice.
Call sinners to repentance.
I desire mercy and not sacrifice. (Hosea 6.6)
Do good on the Sabbath.
Exercise justice amongst the nations. (Isa 42.2)
Hunger and thirst after righteousness.
Show mercy.
Make peace.
Be glad and jump for joy.
Let your light shine before others the good things you do.
Make it right with him. Then return and offer your gift.

25

Try hard to reach a settlement.

26
27
28

Cut it off and throw it away.

Allow him to slap the other cheek also.
Go two miles.
