Creating Presentations with Prezi – Adding Video

Prezi copes with video pretty well! Here is how to do it

1. To insert a video simply click on the Insert circle and select Load File:

2. Prezi takes the following file types: FLV and F4V and SWF – although with SWF you
have no control over the start/stop of the video

UPLOADING a SWF file

1. Find the file you want to add in. Select it and press Open:

2. The video downloads and starts playing automatically.

3. If you click on it you can alter the features using the zebra:

4. Unfortunately there is nothing to stop this playing again and again.

6. When you go back to the movie, it plays again from the spot you left!

1. First click anywhere on the blank page and write in a title:

2. Sort out the alignment and styles and then press OK:

3. Now make another text entry below and add in the details – I tend to do these as
bullet points:

4. I tend to put the bullet points in a different style too:

5. Click OK then click back on to go to the zebra editor and drag the box beside the
title:

bullet points:

7. Click the Select More option then click the title to group it

used to group objects together so that when you play the presentation you see both on
screen together

2. You get a number of options to you:

3. To create a frame click on the frame and drag a box around your items and let go:

Creating Presentations with Prezi – Making Paths to link the slides

Paths are how you link each portion of text, video or image. Here is how it is done

1. First make sure that your slides are suitably placed on the screen.

2. I have used the Zoom Out icon (see right of screen) to zoom out which give me more
room:

3. Remember every item on the screen can be linked together so if you want to see
TITLE AND TEXT you need to put them in a frame (see previous helpsheets)

4. Make sure you have added frames around the sections you need to group together:

I have grouped my title
