Guideline for Internship/Project Supervision

General Rules

Maximum 25 standard pages(A4, 1.5 inch margin, Times New Roman 11


font in the body, 1.5 line gap) including everything (cover to cover)
No color printing (except for graphs, charts etc.)
No picture
No color pages
No logo/watermark in page making

Format for Internship Report
The following components of the report must be presented as per the prescribed
format uploaded in the Career Service portal <http://www.ulab.edu.bd/CareerService-Center/career-services-center/>

Title page (as prescribed format)
Approval form
Declaration
Executive summary
Table of content
Part A: Internship Experience in (Name of host organization) (10-12 pages)
Chapter One: Introduction
One to two pages introduction to the internship experience including the
organization and the specific industry
Chapter Two: Host organization in context
Mapping of the organization under macro and micro perspective
Preferred analytical tools include Five Forces Model, SWOT Analysis, PEST
Analysis, Financial Statement Analysis (At least two analytical tools are to
be applied and six pages at maximum)
Chapter Three: Internees role and responsibility
Week-wise chronological work diary including a detailed description of most
rewarding experiences and most disappointing ones. (Four pages at
maximum)
Chapter Four: Observations, recommendations and conclusions. (Three
pages at maximum)
Part B: Research Project (not more than 12 pages excluding appended pages)
