MEDIA / PUBLIC RELEASE

On Wednesday, April 6, 2016, Precinct 3 Officers responded to 348 Flag Chapel, (WestWick
Apartments), in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering
from multiple gunshots wounds. The victim was later identified as Cordarius Warden and was
transported to UMC for treatment.
During the course of this investigation, Robbery/Homicide Detectives have identified two
suspects and warrants for Aggravated Assault have been issued for their arrest.
This is an ongoing investigation.
