residential areas of Colombo, overlooking Beira
Lake and the Indian Ocean. Its close proximity

Indocean Developers (Private) Limited is a venture of
South City Projects (SCPKL).South City Group is a
consortium of six respected real estate players of
Eastern India: South City Projects (Kolkata) Ltd.South
City Group involves the very names that have given
Kolkata some of its landmarks and changed its
skyline. These include magnates like R.S. Agarwal
and R.S. Goenka of Emami Group, S.K. Todi of Shrachi
Group, J.K. Khetawat of Rameswara Group, Pradeep
Sureka of Sureka Group, Sushil Mohta of Merlin Group
and R.K. Bachhawat of J. B. Group.These gentlemen
mutually brought to the table their field of expertise
and experience which comes from having collectively
built over a hundred buildings covering more than 20
million sq. ft. in Kolkata, its neighbouring towns, and
in other parts of India.

THE TEAM
Indocean Developers Private Limited, a venture of South
City Group, will develop Altair, one of Sri Lanka's largest
private sector developments.
Indocean have put together a global team led by the world
renowned architect Moshe Safdie and structural
engineers from Dubai, landscape architects from Thailand,
mechanical engineers from South Africa, project manager
from Greece, fire engineers from the Middle East, wind
analysis consultants from Canada.
The entire team is ably supported by the best from Sri Lanka.

THE DEVELOPMENT

Altair is an iconic development valued


at 250 Million Dollar designed by
Moshe Safdie, a world famous
celebrity architect.
Its 68 storeys will comprise of 1.5
million Sq. Ft. of high-end, Eco-friendly
living. Altair will be home to high net
worth individuals, expatriates and NonResident Sri Lankans among others.
This development will be home to a Sky
Garden located on the 64th floor.
