Be part of a new and growing team working to create brand solutions for
sustainable and healthful products. A Massachusetts-based firm specializing in
brand strategy, design and execution.
There are two primary responsibilities of the client-facing Project Manager:
1. Account Management: Manage the daily client relationships and monitor overall
quality of agency deliverables to their clients. Involved from new business
meetings and pitches through project completion, the Account/Project Manager
is responsible for day-to-day client management, continually recognizing
opportunities inside their client base for up-selling and cross-selling additional
agency solutions. Plans, develops and manages research, strategic initiatives, and
content for their clients.
2. Project Management: Manage all projects, including initiating proposals and
project plans, creating estimates, budgets and timelines, as well as trafficking
tasks to team members.
Responsibilities:

Effectively presents, sells and defends agency work to clients


Understands clients needs and assures client expectations are met
Helps to maintain overall client profitability
Handles day-to-day activities for respective clients
Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company
core values
Monitors Client Satisfaction
Nurtures Client Relationships
Assure quality of deliverables to the clients satisfaction
Handles day-to-day project based activities for respective clients
Manages all projects on-quality, on-time and on-budget
Keeps work flowing past bottle necks
Sources & Manages outsourced activities
Monitors project and campaign budgets and schedules daily
Creates proposal schedules and timelines
Participates in weekly production meetings

Tasks:
Client Relations & Management

Regularly responds to client calls and e-mail


Schedules pertinent client meetings, develops agendas and debriefs
Client communication ($$ related, non-project day to day and negotiations)
Documents client communication
Assists in preparing client strategic marketing/media/PR plans
Participates in client planning
Manages client account review (with Principals)
Keeps client abreast of agency happenings
Keeps agency abreast of client happenings
Stays informed of clients industry/segment
Research: deep knowledge of client business
Research: deep knowledge of client competition

Project Life Cycle:

Informs Principal of approved client budget


Completes Creative Brief with client
Leads project kickoffs
Educates client regarding the timing required for execution
Stays apprised of progress of clients projects
Quickly and accurately relays changes to internal team
Monitors production quality (proofreads everything)
Ensures deliverables undergo approval process before being presented to client
Maintains awareness of scope creep and secures approval (from Principals)
Delivers Change Orders to client
Sells recommendations back to client
Calls project post-mortem meetings
Monitor project and campaign budgets weekly
Review daily work schedule and resource to team members
Communicates regularly with subject matter experts about the current status of
all jobs in progress
Client correspondence in accordance with material to complete jobs
Report any problems affecting job quality, due dates and costs to Principal
Monitors engagement terms and works with bookkeeper to invoice on-time and
on-budget
Manages all projects on-quality, on-time and on-budget
Run production meetings
Alert Principal when projects reach 50% & 70% of total budget
Alert Principal when project reach 100% of total budget
Interfaces with various departments, on a daily basis, to move projects forward
Assists in preparing client invoices/proposals/marketing communications
Reviews billing prior to release and helps ensure prompt collection of AR
Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company
core values.

Desired Skills & Experience:


Must have client-facing project management and/or account management experience
within an agency capacity.
Proven experience managing integrated campaigns, executing on time and
within budget
Must be a Mac, not a PC, with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
We are a small agency to start and growing, where individuals who arent afraid
to dig in and get involved
Salary & Benefits:
