Group Scheduling Project

This group project involves the scheduling and documentation of
planning and control variables for (principally) the Indian Housing
Project.
Teams of four are to be self-selected but should be within your tutorial
group; names forwarded to Lecturer (3rd April 2015)
Contribution shall be equitable. Members are responsible for task
distribution.

Project submissions shall be neatly bound and presented with the names
of group members and, an indication of each members involvement in
specific activities.
This assignment contributes 15% to the total unit mark. Marks will be
awarded for content, feasibility of solution, decision justification(s) and
application of referenced data sources, public safety of solution, clarity,
level of detail, format and style/presentation.

1. TASK
You are the nominated project manager for local council project to construct furnished
offices for Grama Niladharis. The project is launched with the collaboration with local
community banks where the bank will construct facility fully funding the cost of building.
The bank will then lease it out for the said purpose for a 30 year period. After that the
ownership will be transferred to the local council. You are to provide a Project Management
Plan (PMP) for this project, with the following deliverables as given below.
Each office is expected to have a furnished waiting area, furnished office space, document
storage facility, paved parking spaces (including visitors), communication facilities, computer
facilities, one wash room and a notice board.
You are expected to come up with proper estimates for the work
Each project shall be funded by one community bank cover the scope of one local council
and construct offices for each Grama Niladhari. You may select any local council in Sri
Lanka.

You may use Microsoft Project (or any other scheduling tool) to produce a schedule for the
Indian Housing Project. The deliverables for your Scheduling Plan are below:
